A way to see and understand the security risks of our vendors and helps us evaluate which vendors we may need to assess more closely and determine whether a vendor poses a greater risk.

It provides us with an excellent overall view of our attack surface, which was not there before. Misconfigurations and open ports, viewed from the perspective of an attacker, make it much easier for our IT department to prioritize fixes. Extremely useful application.

Terrible software. I am surprised this is actually used by State officials. Security Scorecard is using false information, wrong domains, and giving my business a terrible score based on nothing related to my business. If this continues, I smell a very massive lawsuit. Security Scorecard is reporting incorrect and false information.

I use Security Scorecard both for vendor evaluation and also as a user who attempts to maintain my own security posture of my web properties. Unfortunately, over time, I have found that SS is not really ready for the world of cloud and elasticity.

The false positive rate on findings for companies who leverage cloud platforms with auto-scaling load balancers or server clusters is phenomenal. I have probably thousands of false positives. When trying to correct this issue, I am expected to go through thousands of IPs that are no longer associated with my devices and report that they're no longer assigned to me. One at a time.

I've provided feedback but not really had an effective response, and my score and those of some of my vendors continues to drop due to false positives that cannot be scalably managed. It's a shame, because conceptually this is a good service/idea - it's just not implemented based on modern internet design principles.

Zero stars for making people use a business email. In the days of internet privacy and security, people are reluctant to give their work emails. This is bad practice and you should know better than this. You're simple reason for doing this is so you can pester the business with marketting information. Shame on you.

Our domain was erroneously linked to over 30 domains not owned or related in any way to our company. To date, we have submitted several help desk tickets. The company is slow to respond and unable/unwilling to understand their issue and provide resolution.
