Hiring facilities at the Schools Plus - Royal Greenwich Trust School venue, specifically addressing significant issues related to booking reliability and communication.
This venue has unreliable bookings and constant cancellations. The primary concern is the unacceptable frequency of booking cancellations, often with little to no notice, despite a confirmed reservation being in place. We experienced multiple instances where our confirmed booking was unilaterally cancelled by the venue.
Bookings were frequently not confirmed in a timely manner, leaving our operations in limbo until the last minute. This lack of prompt confirmation creates major planning hurdles.
Impact and disrupts our business operations.
The lack of reliability has a devastating knock-on effect on any organisation relying on the space. Each cancellation directly led to the total disruption of our planned activities, forcing last-minute scrambling to find alternative, often inferior, spaces, or leading to the complete cancellation of our events/sessions. The unreliability damages our standing with our own clients, participants, or members, who cannot rely on our schedule being consistent. Significant time and resources were wasted in planning, communicating, and then re-planning around the venue's administrative failures.
The physical facilities at Royal Greenwich Trust School are excellent and highly suited for use. However, the venue management, handled by Schools Plus, demonstrates a severe and persistent problem with booking reliability and administrative efficiency.

We've been using Schools Plus for around 20hrs of bookings per week, for the best part of 2 years now and have only good things to say - organisation is made very easy and our account manager Jan Newman is extremely efficient and always goes above and beyond to accomodate our needs. Highly recommend to all!

Great 4g pitch to play Sunday football on, and the staff are so helpful for example when I left my phone at the pitch Adrian was so kind to help me find it even after they had locked up. Really nice place

I have been dealing with Schools Plus in regards to a large block booking and they have been excellent and always gone above and beyond. Their presence onsite is also very welcome and good to have someone helpful nearby.

What can I say? If you are looking to run your business based on a school booking run by Schools Plus be prepared for disappointment and loss of custom, they simply have no idea. Their communication, customer service is beyond bad (like no words how terrible they are, they just don't care) and I'm not sure how they have stayed in business. Bookings cancelled at the last minute, them not informing you you can't use the premises until you get there or the evening, week before, staff late to open up, never getting back to you when there is an issue (yes we'll call and email you later today - three, four five, days later....nothing from them - you ring again yes we'll get back to you, three, four days later nothing from them), additional charges if you want to change your bookings (literally from one classroom to a different one). The stories I could tell, but don't think I have the space or time.
I can not stress how bad they are, the area manager for us is useless, rude and just has no concept of how to deal with people, it seems she makes things up and changes her mind based on the way she is feeling at the time.
Yes they are cheaper, but the stress of using them often out ways that. I've been using them for around 5 years or so now, so not a new customer - the first two years or so were okay, but the last eighteen months have been ridiculous.
I can hear you saying 'Why not leave?' - like I said they are cheap and unfortunately there is no where else in my area that we can use. I think they know that, and that's the reason they are so awful. Rock and a hard place.
My advice, pay more for somewhere else. The stress, inconvenience and the complete lack of customer care from Schools Plus will make up for the additional cost.
In Reply to Schools Plus: It's amazing that you can respond so quickly when someone leaves a public review, however you are unable to do this when submitting a complaint to you directly. We'll refrain from adding any more details, as we have already been victimised by the area manager for complaining in the past. My advice - improve customer services and organisation and communication. Your business relies on companies like mine.

I booked a venue with SCHOOL PLUS and paid £800; which i felt was really too much. However that was not the issue. After the payment I asked to view the venue and chased it with them for nearly 4 days and finally after calling them again they ask me to come at 21:00 at night on a grass pitch. According to them that was the only time they had for viewing and they only do viewings at night. Cannot understand why they do viewings at night when its pitch dark. They have left me really in the dark now. I have requested for a viewing in the morning. Have still not got any response. i just feel i have been taken for a ride and now that i paid they do not care. I have not even got a contact of a person from the venue when i get there so not sure what is happening. I would never recommend them

I have been working for schools Plus for a while now, I started as a venue supervisor and now I am team leader at a lovely school in Surrey. I introduced my son to schools plus who was just 17 years at the time and then my husband.
