Ordered a sample of aftershave I had…
Ordered a sample of aftershave I had not tried before, had one small problem in that my house name did not pull through from PayPal, contacted Scentley customer service and received an answer to say they would sort it out. Received about 5 days after ordering, item well packaged and a great smell, thank you. Will use again.

First time at Scentley
This is my first time ordering from Scentley. I liked the look of their website and they have a wide range of fragrances to choose from.
I am currently waiting still waiting for my package, due to a confusion with the Royal Mail's destination.However, I would buy from them again in the future. Scentley notified me when my package was dispatched and the paying system was easy.

I won’t be using Scentley again…
I won’t be using Scentley again and don’t recommend them. I made an order and received a dispatch notification few days later but with no tracking info. I waited a week until chasing via email for an update and waited 4 days for a response but heard nothing. I only received a response once I had raised a PayPal case and their excuse was that the order was lost in transit and that they would send out another (I see from other reviews this happens regularly). They promised to send the new tracking information that day, but I never received that either. I did however receive my order eventually and the products and packaging were good, but it wasn’t worth the effort or hassle. If you decide to risk it at least use PayPal to protect yourself.

An absolute disgrace. Stay away from these scammers
I ordered on the 1/10 and on the 5/10. Their dispatch time is ridiculous, the first order was dispatched after 13 days! Not to mention, it happened only after I opened a PayPal dispute for both orders.
To add up, I received the 2nd order and so closed the related dispute, but still haven't received my 1st order at all.
They don't reply to emails at all and on PayPal, they used the tracking number of the 2nd order, to declare that the dispute related to the 1st order should be closed becaused "apparently I received the item".
I did investigate with royal mail and they did ship, but the shipping is lost and Scentley aren't doing anything about it. In fact, they couldn't care less. By law, they must make sure to deliver the order to complete the sale, the buyer isn't responsible for lost shippings, but they don't seem to care.
Absolute scammers. I will probably report to the police if they don't either give me what I ordered or my money back.
UPDATE: I received my shipping yesterday, precisely 25 days after I ordered. Still complete silence from them, not even an apology.

Hi Alyson, You order 1ml sample and you were provided with 1ml sample in a 2.2ml plastic sprayer. So you were given the correct amount of sample and we assume you are unhappy that you ordered a smaller amount than what you imagined you would get? We are sorry for this experience and we hope to be more clear with our customers.

Hi Suzanne. This review was completely unnecessary because we sent you tracking information and on that tracking information it says that "It has been received" by royal mail so the delay is caused by Royal Mail and has nothing to do with us. If anything this should be a review for Royal Mail service instead. If you had sent us an email, we could have explained this to you. Our customers will always receive their samples for us, even if Royal Mail ends up losing your order the first time.

I was quite surprised by the size of the tiny file I was sent and it was only a quarter full I knew it was only cheap but you should be more precise about what you will receive so customers know what to expect and decide if it is worth ordering?

Hi Joyce, sorry that you are not happy with our service. You are correct in the fact that we should be more precise about what we are offering. That is why we clearly state on each of our sample fragrance a message at the top saying "PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASE," and then when you read for the information provide at the bottom it says "Note: 1ml samples will be decanted into 2.2ml sprayers." which is why your sample was filled in the way you have stated. I hope this bring some clarity with this situation. We accurately measure the samples to ensure you get the amount you have paid for, always more, never less.
