Building a British outline model railroad in the Unites States can at time be challenging when looking for appropriate supplies. But Scale Model Scenery comes through with excellent products and service. I ordered cosmetic fishplates, weathered roof slates, and stone wall texture paper. All are very fine products and will help my project immensely. I was particularly impressed with the realism of the stone wall. Scale Model Scenery's service is great, with prompt shipping.

FIRST CLASS CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I am relatively new to the hobby and have recently purchased three kits, albeit through a third party retailer. Kits were excellent but I had a build query, which I couldn’t resolve, inasmuch as I thought an item was missing. Several emails to the supplier asking for, and being promised, an answer led to zero. Finally I decided to take the direct approach. My phone call was answered by a very understanding lady who promised to get Justin to ring me when available. Being slightly jaundiced by my previous experience I expected to wait days. Not in the least. 20 minutes later my phone rang and all my queries, and others, were answered clearly, politely and with the offer of additional parts (which were declined but appreciated). Well done. My next order is on its way direct and NOT via a retailer.

Back to model railways after 45 years break, although been building boats instead. Scratch building but found details hard to make at this scale so bought some windows & doors & was very impressed with the quality. Since been back to buy slates & quoins, which are equally good. Also now following them on socials now, they obviously have a passion for what they do. & have become my go to place for building accessorieswith many more orders to come.

Bought the new Bonfire kit, glue and glue tips after I watched Justin build this on the Web Cam. Easy to find the things I wanted and place the order. Right level of comms throughout the process to help understand where the order was. Arrived within 3 days (which is pretty good for Royal Mail)! The items were well packaged and the icing on the cake was a “Thank you” personally written on the despatch notes :-)
