C'est de loin le magasin de plein-air qui fait des spéciaux avec des prix de bases plus élevés qu'ailleurs chez d'autres détaillants, je regardais pour m'acheter une chemise qui de base se vends à 169.99$ pour aller à la pêche et un spécial jusqu'à 50% ce qui veut dire 85$ à 50%, la même chemise est détaillée beaucoup oins chère ailleurs. À ce rythme , je ne veux pas me plaindre mais je trouves que c'est rire du monde et de la compétition ne ferais pas de tort.
Horrible experience with SAIL
I posted this on social media, but SAIL deletes negative comments or makes them visible only to the author instead of the public.
I purchased online from SAIL expecting a reliable delivery service. What a mistake.
Order placed on April 2, picked up on April 3 by Nationex. According to them, delivery attempts were made on April 7 and 8 — which is false. I was at home all day (I work remotely), and no one came. Ironically, Canada Post delivered another package on those same days, with a signed proof of delivery.
A SAIL agent assured me that a final delivery attempt would be made and even added her number to the file. The result: no call to her or to me, no delivery, and the package was automatically returned to the warehouse without anyone’s consent.
Since then, complete silence. For more than two days now, the package seems to be in limbo, as it hasn’t even arrived back at your warehouse. On my end, no callback from a supervisor, no response to emails throughout yesterday. And SAIL refuses to issue a refund until the package is returned — a problem that should never be mine.
Unacceptable customer service, disastrous delivery.
My advice on social media: avoid online purchases from SAIL.
Horrible company and customer service
Horrible company and customer service. I ordered a winter hat. Online, it was pictured with a wool lining. When I received the hat, it had a different lining. I returned the item and received an email saying the hat didn't match the description, and they weren't issuing a refund. I told them, I know this is what was sent and why I was returning it. They refused to refund. I'm out $75 now with a hat that wasn't what was advertised. That's fraudulent, and I won't purchase from this company ever again.

Nettement exagéré comme raison de la part de la gérante qui soit dit en passant était légèrement condescendante. Bref elle offre une note de crédit ce qui ne m’a pas satisfait.
Rod damaged when received

After almost two weeks, several phone calls and emails, I have still not heard anything from the customer service team.
The Customer Service of this Company gets a rating of 0.
The Customer Service of this Company is despicable. I have been trying to follow up on a return request since the beginning of January with no success. I am told through 'chat' that it is still being reviewed. It is a $50 purchase. Ridiculous. We have been long time customers of this Company but I doubt we will ever buy anything from Sail again.
Where is the zero star rating
Where is the zero star rating? These clowns shipped a damaged product and have proceeded to ignore me for the last 12 days despite multiple inquiries. It’s the most pathetic lack of customer service I have received. Never again.
Same story
Same story. 2 times I placed online order. They charged my credit card. 2 days later they canceled order. Thousands sorry and apologies that cost nothing - I believe it is their templates. Management do nothing for years to fix it. Dont trust them - crooks and cheaters. Fully disappointed with that store.
Order partially canceled. No explanation. No follow up.
I placed an online order last week. Today I received an email telling me that one of my items(boots) is canceled. No other details were given. No contact number for online orders were given. I ordered a complete set of cross country ski equipment but this of course is useless without boots.
I contacted my local store and they told me to send an email. This is unacceptable. I now want to cancel the order. This is most effectively done by having some kind of telephone support or even a chat. I desperately want to support a Canadian business but Sail makes it very hard.

I bought my wife a lovely North Face coat for Christmas, it was too small so we asked to return for a larger size. Response was that I had to visit the store to exchange, nearest store is 3000KM away. Useless company, awful service, walk away.

I placed an order with sail over a week ago. They haven't shipped it or refunded me. My emails to the info address have gone unanswered. I believe they have stolen my money. Beware of this company.
Sent item (Garmin GPS) back for refund
Sent item (Garmin GPS) back for refund. Buried somewhere on their website is the statement that no refund given on electronics. They also didn't return the item to me. So they have about $1,000 of my money and I have nothing to show for it. Thinking writing this review isn't enough. I think I might call the police. This is theft. Shop elsewhere!!
Your money is better spent elsewhere
Never again. Ordered a pair of clearance blundtstones online in size 4 and they sent me size 3. Because they are clearance, no returns or exchange. There was a reviewer on their site that had the same experience that I foolishly chose to ignore thinking surely that was a one time mistake. Apparently not.
Don’t order from this website
Ordered a package December 13th, it is now the 28th and I’ve received no updates, & no one has gotten back to me about delivery. I should have looked the reviews up first …. They are brutal. The worst customer service. Don’t order from here.
No Communication random cancelations
Ordered a jacket during the Black Friday sale.
For days there were no updates of its shipping status. As SAIL doesn’t even have a phone line, they rely only on their info@sail email for customer support (are you kidding me?). I sent an email asking for a shipping update and of course I received no reply again for days.
Then a very canned cancelation email response arrived a few days later stating my entire order was suddenly canceled due to low stock. What the heck? My order went through and my credit card was charged based on it being in stock at the time I purchased it through SAIL’s site. I’ve never encountered such a random online order cancelation like this from such a large brand.
Was the product I ordered shipped to someone else? Did an employee end up bagging and taking my order?
This was supposed to be a Christmas present for a loved one who was looking forward to this jacket for a long time.
For it to be randomly canceled is very poor Customer Experience. I expected more from a Canadian company especially so close to the holidays.
We will be taking our business elsewhere. Don’t depend on this company for your online orders

Awful service and a lack of competency
The courier they use, Nationex, it’s absolutely horrendous. The tracking number has not provided any updates in nearly a week. The expected delivery date still shows a date from 2 days ago. I reached out to Sail and was basically told to kick rocks and complain elsewhere. Sail provided no help and did not seem concerned in the slightest with my issues. I also reached out to Nationex and was told that they cannot provide any updates or accurate ETA. Nationex said they handed my package to a partner for final delivery. They cannot tell me who the partner is or what the final delivery date will be. I will NEVER order online from Sail again. Their customer service is awful and they have partnered with the absolute worst delivery company I have ever had the disappointment of dealing with. In today’s world, it is subpar service for a delivery to take more than a business week. Take your money and run as far away from Sail as you can. You WILL NOT get your package delivered in a reasonable time, if it is even delivered at all.
RUNAWAY!!! Online scammers!
RUNAWAY!!!! Take your money elsewhere!! Ordering online is a scam and customer service are liars! $2450.00, and no item! No explanation! And NO REFUND!!!! Well that will be fun explaing to hubby where the money went for his non-existent Christmas gift. Will report to BBB and whoever will listen. Ohhh and no phone number for customer service when you order online.
