While the initial order and delivery were really smooth and pain-free, the collection of the scaffold tower was anything but!

I paid for a weeks hire and then needed to extend for another week, which I paid full price for. The arranged collection date was 13th November so I booked time off work. I had a call the night before to confirm the collection, but nobody came.

I called SAB and they told me there was at least a 2 week delay on collections... even though I had been called the night before to confirm my collection slot.

The scaffold tower was finally collected on 23rd December after multiple emails back and forth and failed collection dates. I lost money from my time off work and have had to store the tower for an extra 6 weeks.

The last email I received was saying they attempted collection and no one was home... this was false. They followed up by saying I need to let them know if I want to extend my hire ASAP! I think not.

Wonderful experience very competitive prices. 2 platform tower assembled by my self. Light ish kit, strong with the braces.

Service is very good like delivery and product

The delivery and collection correspondence was really poor, I had no idea what the timings were. Even when I phoned your company on the day there was a commitment to phone me back with the details which never happened.
The drivers were excellent but they have no control of the delivery schedules.

The scaffold tower I had hire for delivery on a Monday did not arrive until 17.45 and was delivered to the incorrect address - my home address rather than the site address.

The scaffold tower was not collected on the day on which the hire ended, but only the following afternoon.

The most frustrating bit about the whole experience was the lack of information about when the tower would arrive and when it would be collected - poor communication.

Used this summer for our festival and game vs Hartlepool United. Delivered everything on time. Very professional and polite throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Communication was very Poor resulting in lots of waiting around and numerous phone calls having to be made but price reasonable.

I ordered a scaffold tower and boards for a small not for profit charity to be used by volunteers who had given up their time to redecorate an area. Tower and boards ordered and paid for on Thursday for delivery on Friday. Tower delivered on the Friday, minus the boards. Despite several phonecalls and promises by customer service agents, boards still didn't arrive on the Monday. So I was given the option of cancelling the order which I did. No refund received as yet, only a phonecall 3 days later saying boards were on the lorry. Where is the customer service in all this.

All customer agents were good, Reece was exceptional. He has been very good with all the communication I had with him and he has also arranged a refund for some fault goods. Excellent service.

The Tower Scaffold I ordered, was not the one delivered to me. It appears that the local hire firm that SAB 'sub-let' the hiring task to, did not have my ordered size, so simply sent the 'nearest one' to that size --Which consequentely I could not use, as limited access space dictated the actual size I had originally ordered. To their credit, SAB then promptly found an alternative local company, who promptly delivered the correct size tower. One of the four stabilizers for this Tower had a seized clamp, so the supplied was techically unsafe for use.
If hiring again, I would deal only direct with a local Tool Hire Company. The SAB system of hiring has too many people involved. Keep your contact chain short I would advise.

The process you provided was smooth and efficient and very good value. Unfortunately the size of the access tower was not what I ordered, it was a 2.5m long system not 1.8m. This meant that it was harder to erect on my own, particularly raising the platforms.

Simple, easy, efficient, professional, on time and very good value for money 👍

I would be very wary of using this company for its services. I have had a terrible experience in hiring a tower through them. I would give a zero star if that was an option.
I am still pursuing in trying to get my money back and not very accommadating. Keep giving excuse after excuse. I would avoid them so you are not disappointed.

Excellent service, Delivered and picked up when they said they would.
Tower was in good order.
Great communication.
Would definitely use again without hesitation.

Item delivered was faulty . Replacement was sorted for next day but was too late for job as my garden team were there . So item didn't get used
