I bought a Blackstone pizza oven (model 6825) online using the Rona website. Save yourself the hassle, and do not purchase through the Rona website. I contacted Rona customer service since my new $1300 oven was missing the advertised infrared thermometer. Rona issued me a ticket number but that was the end of their service. 1.5 months have passed and the Rona ticket is still outstanding despite my repeated follow up with Rona. I eventually contacted Blackstone to resolve the problem directly.

Do not buy their appliances online unless you like throwing away money. They do not honor warranty. Been waiting months for someone to come do a repair. June, July & August hitting up to 3 months waiting for an incompetent to come fix the dishwasher. By the time the repair comes the warranty will be expired and right now we still have 3 years on it. Pathetic. Wish we purchased from the Brick.

we had BAD experience twice with Rona in Montreal- broken big kitchen cabinets that was in box and we had to pay 3 times for delivery
And also bought Samsung Dryer and it stopped working after 1 year and 1 month and no parts available.
Wont deal with them anymore!!

John from Rona in Maple is very knowledgeable and personable man-several times he helped me to find items I was looking for ( tools, kitchen cabinet handles, garden hose). I know that I can trust experienced people like him with my hardware shopping.

The customer service representative was slow and rude and did not respond back for long periods of time. They said they would issue a refund for an item I never received but I haven’t gotten any refund yet.

Several times we go to RONA, we cannot find anyone to give us advice and the workers there either don't have the knowledge or indifferent. In several occasions, I had to go to home depot to get the advice.
My last encounter with RONA was buying a BBQ online. The name of the product and the description were wrong and misleading.
the item was "Outsunny Smart Grill Silver 2-Burner Propane and Natural Gas BBQ Grill (Item #36733265)."and the fuel type was "Propane and Natural Gas BBQ". However, when I got it, the manual only mentioned Propane. I reached out to them by email twice and they confirmed that it work with Natural Gas BBQ. then the third time they finally contacted the manufacturer and advised it cannot work with natural Gas. This could have caused an explosion in my house because of the different pressures. they didn't even take the time to check with the manufacturer before they answer me the first 2 times

Ordered lumber online for delivery, and received a call within 45 mins stating that will not receive for 3 to 4 weeks as it is coming from distribution center, but they have plenty in store for pick up. Why can't they just deliver from the store is shocking to me, so waiting for refund and going somewhere else as this was a simple order of Plywood for various thickness and a few 2x4s for about $500's worth. So bye bye sale profit.

Disappointing Warranty Experience with Kobalt Nailer

I am writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent attempt to submit a warranty claim for my Kobalt nailer at one of your.katanat/ stittsville locaton.

While I understand that Kobalt is a brand you no longer carry, the way I was treated by your staff was truly unacceptable. Rather than being met with basic courtesy or assistance, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. One staff member continued chatting with a colleague while I attempted to explain why I was there, barely acknowledging me. The overall attitude was dismissive and borderline offended that I even brought the issue in.

It wasn’t just the lack of help — it was the clear message that my presence, and my problem, didn’t matter.

Given this experience, I’ve made the decision to take my business elsewhere. From now on, I’ll be turning to Home Depot, and other retailers for all my lumber and tool needs.

I purchased several hundred dollars worth of concrete block at the Park and Tilford location which is a corporate store, when I finished the job I had one ½ size block worth only $2.36 which I tried to return to the Rona on Granville, also a corporate store. My intention was to purchase a brick veneer to cover the facade of the concrete block retaining wall, a purchase that would have been several hundred dollars.
However the employee named Kushal would not take the item back because he told me that it was discontinued. I then went to the contractors counter and asked if it was discontinued and they told me no it was not, it was just not a regular stocked item but that they could order it for me.
Kushal lied to me when he said it was discontinued.
I left the store without purchasing the brick facade that I has gone in to purchase, I instead went to Home Depot and purchased it there.
Rona's terrible level of service cost them $736 in lost sales today because Kushal would not refund me $2.36 on an item purchased from a different location.
I will not be giving Rona my business anymore, they Suck!

I once rented a truck from RONA and it was just fine, the price was good, the service too. They didn't try to stiff me. No complaints. On the other hand I recently found a piece of balcony furniture I liked online. It showed as in stock in the store. I go to pick it up only to find out that they don't have it.

Merci à Mme Brigitte et Dany au RONA+ à Rosemère pour l'excellement service, contrairement à RONA+ St-Eustache qui n'ont rien fait pour régler mon problème de parasol. Terminé pour moi RONA+ St-Eustache.

Ordered patio furniture online. Paid over $1200, free delivery was included. The furniture was never delivered!!! I have spoken to several people, they cannot say when it will be delivered and will not issue a refund as it is “in transit”? UPS does not have the package, and neither do I and now I have no patio furniture and I’m out $1200!!! Very angry!! Terrible company!! I will never shop with Rona again!

Ma commande web, un BBQ, a été livrée mais des pièces manquaient pour l'assemblage. J'ai donc tout réemballé immédiatement. Une premiere conversation avec le service client et on me dit contacter le magasin vendeur pour obtenir les écrous manquants, 22 pour être précise. Non standards en plus. 5 jours plus tard, aucune mise à jour courriel, ni téléphonique. Donc, j'effectue un nouvel appel. Le magasin vendeur n'a toujours rien confirmé... Un questionnaire plus tard, des photos de mon emballage et un nouveau numéro de suivi : Je demande officiellement un retour et remboursement.

13 jours plus tard, pas de son, pas d'image de la part de Rona. C'est moi qui finance et entrepose toujours leur inventaire déficient depuis plus de 15 jours! Un autre appel de ma part et aucun remboursement en vue. Je suis rendue au "niveau 2" Jamais plus je n'achèterai chez Rona

The staff are great for the most part. The prices are high and rising like groceries, especially for small odds and ends. Expect to spend an hour if you're picking up small bits, hence my worthless time writing this while waiting.

Landon and Co, 10x 10 gazebo.Roof fabric is crap. weakened and split after not even 2 years of use,despite being removed in the Fall, and stored dry, til the following Spring. Landon replied back after 2 attempts.1st time ,the customer service person said they would send an email and I could reply with a pic of receipt and pics of the damaged top. A few days went by,.and nothing.Called again and this time the email was sent at the end of the day.Bear in mind that 2 weeks ago,there was a 2 year warranty on this product online.Now,its conveniently 1 year.So, we`re out of luck ,but as a "consolation" ,they offered us a 15% discount on any purchase over $ 150. I strongly believe in "buy Canadian" but this is the 2nd item that was crap over the last 2 years. My advice is, save your $$ and buy elsewhere.

I purchased a water heater on line and arranged installation by the store.They installed a badly damaged heater which they tell me they'll replace but haven't after a month of complaining.I ordered a better quality heater to ensure more reliability but got a badly damaged unit of unknown reliability

The company offered an excellent deal on a covered Gazebo for just over half price. They offered this sale for almost two months. They did this however with little to no store inventory and a flawed online inventory system where stores show on hand inventory but there is no units actually left for sale. Store personnel have no idea when or if more units are coming and have zero interest in helping. What is the point of this? All they have done is really annoy a lot of people with little hope for recourse. I switched from Home Depot as I'm trying to shop Canadian but I really cannot tolerate this.

Do not buy anything from Rona store with delivery service — their team is completely incompetent.
I paid for delivery, waited all day, and the delivery person didn’t even try my buzzer. Instead, they just returned my order to the store without any real attempt to reach me.

When I called the store to reschedule, I was shocked to learn that I would have to pay again for a new delivery. This is absolutely unacceptable and infuriating.

Can you imagine if I pay again and the same thing happens? It’s entirely possible — because Rona offers no guarantee, even though I’m paying for the service.

This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and a complete waste of my time and money.

RONA Saskatoon 1722 Preston : Today I regret my patronage of thousands of dollars in tools and materials. And you lost today’s purchase and my future patronage and recommendation. I was unable to find a specific tool after picking up $100 in other purchases. The whole time I saw no one in the hardware area for help. I did see two other customers also looking for help when I arrived. A half hour of my time wasted. One employee tried to help but it wasn’t their area. Another employee called for customer assistance and I wasted more time waiting for no one to show up. I made a complaint at customer service and they apologized but didn’t seem to really care.
