How one person can make things right
I complained about customer service at Rona and their finance department regarding a refund on shares who were delivered, defective asked for reimbursement. Everything was denied, as you can see by my previous review.
I then received a call from Tom Andrew assistant manager. He apologized for all the miscommunications. He had four different chairs of which he gave a choice. The chairs were delivered today and are exactly as requested. Rona should have more employees like Tom, who can make things right.

The system of return is pathetic, not users friendly, specially not friendly for regular professional, Home depo is the the the best, just tell them the phone number, then they sympathy scanner the items and the items are appearing on your pro account no matter which branch you habr purchases and they will return right aways without asking any thing, I love home depot and I hate hate hate up to infinity the rona, in Asian culture in pakistan and India, rona means crying and rona is 1000000% matches with the work crying, I never find anything in rona when ever I go there to find something which I want but I can find it in home depot every time, I love home depot and I hate rona, and I will tell entire canada don't buy anything from rona because when you want to return and you lost the receipt they will never return the product if you show them the receipt pictures in your cellphone, theire system if garbage I don't know about the system developer of rona I think they are dumb and don't have any brain or they have money to waste on ther store and believe that one day they will become more famous than Home depot ,dumb people.
Online order - never delivered - cannot get the refund as Purolator is still holding to it with a New delivery date scheduled note.
I have ordered a product online that was supposed to be delivered by courier within 2 days (withing the same city).
Week and a half later - I cannot get Rona to followup with Purolator about the delivery. Neither Rona nor Purolator tracking show any progress on the delivery since the shipment departed the facility on April 25 (day after it was supposed to be delivered).
Even on May 1 the update reads: "New delivery date scheduled. Estimated Delivery Date: Not Available"
Customer service at Rona keeps repeating "they understand the frustration" and "their dedicated team will resolve it promptly".
Customer support at Purolator says they will escalate (as of April 30) - nothing.
Well - by May 1 they stopped even responding to emails. I have neither product, nor the money.
I just purchased a $2600 electric…
I just purchased a $2600 electric fireplace. It arrived destroyed. We are going through a renovation and require a replacement. I called Rona and they requested pictures. The pictures were sent. I cannot get any answers at customer service. They are very poor. They offered me $200 to keep it??? It’s not usable. It has been 2 weeks and they still haven’t agreed to replace the fireplace. They stated they are unsure if a replacement will be offered. However they can refund my money and I can buy a new one. The fireplace is now $600 more.
The latest update is that they scheduled a pick up in 1 week. Once the damaged one is picked up and received, they will decide and hopefully send me a new one.
This is the worst service I have ever experienced. The customer service doesn’t provide any answers or solutions in a timely manner. They delivered a destroyed product and didn’t take immediate responsibility for it. This is not a manufacture issue.
The Rona store wouldn’t exchange it either. I’ll never purchase anything from here again.

Poor Customer Service for Online Customers
Rona's customer service for online purchases is 100% staffed by a call centre in Tunisia. I recently had an expensive purchase messed up by one of Rona's vendors and while I understand that mistakes can happen, it was excruciatingly difficult to deal with Rona's customer service agents in Tunisia. If you have the option, choose to make your purchase somewhere else.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IGNORED MY REQUESTS
The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Was told on two different days someone would call me back that day and they never did. Emails would either go days in between or wouldn't respond at all. I received a bathroom vanity that had damage to the engineered marble countertop, as well as damage on the inside that we didn't even bother reporting. Will shop at any other renovation department store over returning to Rona.

He takes times and patience to introce product and explains in detail the product by introduce more name brands and prices between them. Finally I got the exact item that I want. Very happy. I will return to Rona to buy more items thru Derek again.. :)

On me vend un ensemble laveuse- sèche usé le 8 avril 2025. Une livraison bâclée (pas de débranchement de l’installateur malgré l’assurance du vendeur). Un an plus tard (le 13 avril) bris de la laveuse. Je vais chez Rona et leur garantie… 90 jours. Belle façon de s’en laver les mains! Du fabricant, un an de garantie… à 5 jours près, bravo whirlpool. Bref, je n’achèterai plus jamais d’électro chez Rona et pas Whirlpool. Les autres…à peine meilleurs.

My online order became a nightmare of follow-ups and repeated phone calls. It is very difficult to get to talk through someone. The item was never picked up by the transporter but Rona would not let me cancel it. They would not call me back after saying they would. They could not provide a delivery date either. Orders should not become a chore to customers and Rona should not keep customers when there is not even a tracking number issued.

Same day delivery over 3 weeks late... so far
Their same day delivery has taken three weeks and counting.
15% off next order was offered, which was fine, then found out in the email it expires in 30 days, making it useless to me.
Terrible customer service, false advertising, unresponsive to email, never had an issue in store, but I sure as heck am never ordering anything online from them again.

Deceptive Shipping Timelines
Misleading and deceptive timelines advertised on their website; their own policies say that most orders ship by the next business day. It's been over a week since I placed an order (the estimated arrival date was supposed to be last week), and only the electronic label information has been submitted to the courier. Their customer service representatives also know and don't care, and are unhelpful with actually resolving anything, and refuse to provide estimated timelines after shipping. Apparently some things that are advertised as in stock on their website are actually out of stock and back ordered. Don't order from here unless you want to wait several weeks for something to arrive.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - ACTUALLY CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY HOME AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT - Story is we ordered washer and dryer - told instock and then one week later told we dont have that in stock - so change made and wait another week - then washer arrives and delivering company does not just leave appliance as we were told they would but detaches and water from the existing washer and breaks off connection and floods first floor and basement despite them distinctly informing us they would not install the new appliance - water shut off after 10 minutes and considerable damage to home - they then left dryer out in hallway as gas was not disconnected - called emergency plumber who came to first pipe and had that charge to pay for - then wrote company to explain issue and they said they would forward it to insurer who basically said it was not their responsibility and would not assist in paying anything that it must have been preexisting despite never having an issue. Terrible customer service and have contacted a lawyer who basically said they will delay the process to run the costs up and then settle after a year or two - I will never use Rona again when there are just as capable other box stores around. We are out over $4-5000 asking only for a new washer/dryer. They have to accept responsibility for the water damage as their listing states they will not detach anything even though the deliverer said he was just doing us a favour. Very bad experience with Rona and we are certain to tell all our clients and neighbours in the area that they do not stand behind their own mistakes

I was at a rona store on rue principale in chateauguay, Québec this morning, i needed a piece of wood or plastic or presswood whatever, size roughly 48 in. by 33 inch I was not too difficult , the person at the construction counter told me that they stopped making cuts a year ago witch I know is not true, i askd him if i can go in the wood whareshouse to find à piece that would suit my need he said i needed a safety jacket witch i had, went to the wharehouse and met a young guy named MARC, it was april 2 today around 1 pm, it took a total of 8 minutes to find an appropriate piece and he cut it with the same equipment that has been there for many years. I do not write reviews normally but I would appreciate you promoting this guy MARC to Président of the company !!!! Thanks Claude Lacerte , president Semi trailer centre ic.

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered something online to the cost of $1035.00. Of course they took payment right away. I cancelled on the 5th but because they couldn't track ut they wouldn't cancel. So then I was told to return at delivery by not accepting which I did on the 11th of March. Today they told me that they confirmation I refused delivery but still will not process a refund as the sane vendor you couldn't track has supposedly not received it. This is not my problem its their problem they confirmed I refused delivery so need to put the money back on my card. This is frigging ridiculous its been 20 days since I refused delivery and 26 days since I first tried to cancel.
