The best product for my needs was easy to find from the detailed information on the web site. The product arrived within the projected delivery time frame. However, I didn't receive any tracking information updates, but I didn't look on the supplier order page either.
The price I paid for refurbished units was a considerable saving over buying new. The 5 year warranty from RCH ltd is very reassuring.
The only issue I had is that the new drives only have two fixing holes each side whereas the older drives had three holes. Thus I had to improvise the fixing to the NAS housing. I housing is designed to use the front and centre mounting holes and not the front and rear fixing holes that the new drives have.

Ordered 2 12tb 'like new' HDDs, I got sent 2x14tb HDDs with 4 years of warranty on them till. Delivery took about 10 working days.

Fast delivery, given it came from overseas, total time from order placed to receiving 2 x 16TB Exos drives was 8 days. The drives were very well packaged. I am using Unraid and unfortunately the drives were not recognised by either my regular PC or the unraid server. However as previous people have commented it just requires isolate the 3.3v on the sata. There are a number of ways to do this such as taping the pin, but I preferred to order a sata power splitter cable and remove the 3.3v wire (if you have a modular PSU you can make the change direct to one of the sata cables - google sata 3.3v removal) and it works like a charm and avoids me risking damaging any of the pins by applying tape. I'm currently 30% through a pre-clear test so will update this if any issues, but ran the SMART quick test initially and no issues found. Thoroughly recommended !

Cannot recommend highly enough. Excellent value and the quality of the disks that arrived were above and beyond my expectations (extended SMART test performed). The packaging of the disks was very secure which ensured a safe delivery. Will be using again.

I am disappointed. I understand the risk and reason of buying used HDD but this is a bit of a joke I think. My drive that came today has 60000 hours used on it.
The drive arrived in good time, well packaged and does work as intended.

Second purchase from Robert Electronics and this time I got 2 x 14TB Ironwolf Pro drives that look like new sealed (USED SMART data reset 0 full tested) and come with an RMA 5 years warranty.

No issues with the drives I purchased back in January, and these drives also seem to be working well.

An excellent price and delivery was within the stated time and packaged well.

Thought the website was sus at first but no. Drive showed up quicker than expected and as described. New condition with no smart errors. Can’t beat the price either. Would definitely buy again.

Prompt delivery and goods as described

Speedy delivery. Well packaged. Drives are good condition. Running multiple read & writes to the disks before they are incorporated into my server. All good so far.

I have used Robert Computer Hardware twice in the last few months. 2 x 14tb drives each time. Arrived on time, well packed and have worked perfectly since install.

Drives arrived in good time and well packaged. Set up on my NAS with no trouble and performing well. I expected to get hit with VAT on arrival from Singapore but it didn't happen so it make the price even better! Very happy with my purchase. :-)

Seagate Exos X18 16TB drives
I was a little hesitant at first due to the shipping from Singapore. But everything went well arrived in around 2 weeks, very well packed, great tracking, drives work perfectly, brand new no use time, warranty with Robert Electronics for 5 years, not used at present so cannot comment how good it is.

After a lot of searching,I found your specialised website with some great prices. I then did some research on your company (you can never be too sure) I purchased a 14Tb Exos segate drive. It came extremely well packed, with the drive sealed as new.
The drive has yet to be run up, but the Date of manufacture is 24 June 2023, so I assume these prices are reflecting that they are old new stock.... Brilliant, I have no issue with this at such a great price.
As long as it runs up ok (I have no doubt it will as still new and sealed), I will definitely use you and recommend you to my friends.

EDIT: I initially wrote a negative review due to a lack of response from the customer service, but it appears I accidentally sent an RMA request to their international email address (.com not co.uk). While I never received a response from this address, it’s not the correct address for an RMA so have adjusted my rating.

I received 2 drives from RE in 2023 which arrived in good condition and have worked perfectly until a week or so ago. I’m currently working through their RMA process but hopefully it will be smooth sailing and soon I’ll have a replacement!
