Eye opening, but tricky to figure out

I feel like it finally results in something pretty cool, but it was such a pain in the ass to get there. The whole trying to figure out how to login after I already answered the questionairre. It was tricky. I had to use AI to figure it out. But once I got into the app it's pretty neat. I am worried you will overcharge my card in the future.

Thanks for the honest review, glad it was worth pushing through to get to the good part!

You're right that logging in after the questionnaire wasn't intuitive, and we've fixed that: your member space (photos, reviews, everything) is at https://web.roast.dating, and we've now added that link directly to the confirmation email so no one else hits the same wall.

On billing, no need to worry. You'll only ever be charged what you agreed to at signup, nothing more. If anything ever looks off on your card, flag it to us directly and we'll sort it immediately.

Poor Service, Disingenuine

I signed up to ROAST Dating thinking I was going to get a better experience with my online dating profile. The founder, Ben, convinced me this was going to be the case - it wasn't. Ben makes himself sound like he is going to provide the ultimate solution to my online dating, but he was never readily available to take a deep look into my profiles - something that I paid him money for.

I also told him I would need a lot of his help, even if I have to do a lot of the work myself. His direction never gave me optimism and the results from my dating experience did not change at all. I had some good photos taken of me but it did nothing.

Poor experience, and one of the biggest waste of money I have ever suffered.

Looking back at your case, I think we fell short in a specific way: we didn't push hard enough on narrowing your profile down to the type of women you actually wanted to attract, and we should have supplemented your photoshoot with more social/lifestyle shots to round out the story your profile was telling. Since it's been a couple of years, I'd genuinely like to take another look at your profile with fresh eyes and apply what we've learned — including using AI-generated lifestyle photos to fill the gaps a single photoshoot can't cover. I get that this doesn't undo a bad experience, but I'd rather make it right than leave it as is.

I paid $39 specifically for the AI…

I paid $39 specifically for the AI photo generation — 40 profile photos, as advertised. What I actually got was a confusing runaround. Instead of just delivering the pictures I paid for, the process turned into a maze of prompts, upsells, and steps that were never clearly explained. I still don’t understand what they actually want me to do to get what I paid for.

If you’re considering this service, read the checkout flow carefully and screenshot everything before you pay. I just wanted the photos I was promised. Instead I got confusion and a service that isn’t transparent about what you’re actually buying. Would not recommend. In fact, I think this company is just trying to scam people.

Ai photos are decent. They xould use better facial recognition. Sometimes the photos looked like my face other times my face was shown as wider than it is. Also i wear glasses sometimes they were added other times they weren't. But all in overall good experience. Got more matches and many more messages
