We’re sorry to read your review, but we also appreciate the opportunity it gives us to clarify an important matter for all travelers regarding lost or damaged baggage.

In case of delayed delivery, passengers must go to the airport's Lost & Found immediately and keep all receipts for essential purchases made while the baggage is missing.

Once the baggage is delivered, it is essential to inspect it for any damage.

If it’s damaged, you must report it to the courier immediately — this report is necessary to submit a formal claim.
According to the Montreal Convention, the claim must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the baggage.
If an airline gives a longer deadline, please know that this is not valid under international law.

In your specific case, you contacted us when the legal deadline for delayed delivery and damage claims had already passed.

You reported expenses of €150, but submitted receipts amounting to approximately €120.

Despite the limitations, our legal team managed to recover € 300 on your behalf (less our commission) — not € 200 as you stated.

This means you were reimbursed not only for your €120 in documented expenses but also obtained an additional €180 for the damaged baggage.

If you believed some items were missing or stolen from your bag, a police report would have been necessary, but we did not receive one.

We consider your review useful, as it allows others to better understand the process and timelines. Readers can now evaluate whether receiving € 300 for € 120 in documented expenses and a damaged bag was a poor outcome, or a fair one.

Great Help!

A few months ago, my luggage was missing upon arrival. I filed a missing luggage report with the airport and my airline. I was offered help for compensation from RitardoAereo which I quickly accepted. Luggage arrived a week later but soon after, I got a €150 compensation and I was very happy.
