We initially booked a service and chain upgrade but at the last minute we opted for a performance package with exhaust and tune. Very happy with the communication and results at an affordable price backed with warranty. Can't be happier. Bruce.

Highly recommended!
Had a bit of a pinging 2 years after a cam, booked with them easily, diagnosed a worn spark plug (my bad) and got them to do a set of headers at the same time.

I'd give you guys a 10/10 if I could, I spent just under 4500 on a v8 cam package and the car is flawless, el replaced my lifters, cam, valve springs and other parts. Showed me the parts on drop off and showed me my old parts. Very honest!

Absolutely terrible experience… twice. Had work done and got a “custom” tune. Was simply a flash and it ran like absolute dog $&!#. Took it back to fix the tune and be able to drive the car smoothly, and it came back 10x worse. My automatic car was now stalling, (even on a highway in Melbourne), jerky AF, and ran like even hotter dog $&!#, and always felt like it was dying. Old mate there then proceeded to tell me “there’s just something wrong with your car”, and told me my engine was pinging. I took my car to two local shops, to which they said the tune was just absolute trash, and there was absolutely no pinging going on. Took it to another place that I won’t mention, however it is based in Melton and rhymes with GeeM Rotorsport, and now my car runs perfectly. What ended up happening was RevHigh somehow completely removed all my O2 sensors, neglected spark plugs that needed changing after RevHigh “checked one and put it back in cos it was fine”, and use products that are very sub-optimal; not to mention that they appear to lie about their dyno results… However, after taking my car to this new place and getting them to fix all of these issues, I can 100% recommend them over any potential RevHigh customers.

Thanks for your review. We’d like to provide some context to clarify what occurred.
You originally came to us for a camshaft package installation on your V6. Approximately a year later, you returned with concerns about how the vehicle was running. We booked you in for an inspection; however, due to the limited time you allowed (less than 2 hours), we were unable to carry out a proper diagnosis.
During that brief appointment, we inspected one spark plug and found evidence of significant knock during data log tests (knock is the same as pinging in the tuning world). To protect your engine from potential damage, we made the responsible decision to detune the car temporarily (ignition timing, cam timing and torque management settings) and advised you that a more thorough check — including replacing the ignition components was needed. We explained this clearly at the time.
Rather than allowing us time to properly investigate and resolve the issue, you chose to take the car to another tuning shop, who — by your own description simply replaced all the spark plugs and reverted the tune to a higher power setting.

While we’re glad your car is now running well, it’s important to note that the additional tune and expense could have been avoided with a bit of patience and cooperation. The tuning shop mentioned uses stock cam timing tables in their V6 tunes so it's likely you have had piston to valve issues since picking the vehicle up. All of our tuning is done in-house and custom tailored to each vehicle. The E39A and E39B ECU's are a complex mix of speed density and torque based calculations and requires significant tuning time to calculate properly.
We respect your right to seek a second opinion, but we stand by the responsible approach we took in this situation. Our priority is and always has been the health and reliability of the vehicles we work on, unfortunetly in this circumstance we were not given the time or resources.

So I brought in my car for timing…
So I brought in my car for timing chains (2006 VE V6), I had p0016 flashing up constantly and the dreaded rattle on start up. I spoke to the owner in store about the whole process and he explained it in detail, what to look out for and a good service routine. I also opted to get the VVT gears and oil pump swapped due to the age on the motor, after picking up they explained how to check the coolant and oil. the boss? was very knowledgeable on these motors.

BEWARE!!!
Hi just want to let everyone know what you pay is what you get... I was charged $1,200 to replace my timing chain which was done and now they're telling me that I have to pay $1,200 to replace something that could have been done while I was changing the timing chain I am so upset that they didn't diagnose the problem before starting the job and on top of that they damage my fairly new radiator from the drain plug which they used to drain the coolant

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to provide some clarity around the work performed and the condition of your vehicle.
You brought your LLT V6 Taxi to us with over 500,000 km on the clock, requesting a timing chain replacement, which we completed as agreed. From the outset, we advised that the engine was showing serious signs of wear and that the timing chain alone would not resolve the deeper issues.
Specifically, we recommended the following for reliable operation:
New VVT (Variable Valve Timing) gears
Sump removal and internal clean
Reconditioned cylinder heads
Reconditioned bottom end or ideally a full engine replacement with lower mileage
You declined these additional works due to the cost, which we fully understood. However, it’s important to note that the engine’s ongoing cold-start rattle is due to delayed oil pressure reaching the top end — a common issue in worn dual overhead camshaft engines. Replacing the VVT gears alone would not have solved this.
Beyond the engine, the vehicle had several other issues, including:
Perished engine mounts
Damaged transmission mounts
Brittle or failing heater hoses
A leaking thermostat and housing
Worn front sway bar bushes
Many other components that would not pass a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) inspection
As for the radiator: it had been replaced by another workshop and was already leaking when inspected. We informed you of this and suggested contacting the original installer to pursue a warranty claim.
Our goal is always to be transparent, offer honest advice, and work within the scope approved by our customers. While we’re sorry to hear you were unhappy, we worked diligently under difficult circumstances and within the limits you set. We note that the review did not include the 50% discount on spark plugs and coil packs we installed or the free oil pump and water outlet elbow we installed.

Horrible experience avoid!!!
ad customer service. always giving the run around and never do anything on time and instead of apologising they ask me to be patient and make up excuses saying there busy. waited two months for a simple tune and then they deliberately wrote the incorrect address despite telling them numerous times of the correct one, they also did not even send the proper equipment. finally finishing it off by saying that tuner was on leave which is a blatant lie from them yet again. avoid at all costs!!!

Move on it’s been five years, let’s not paint me as the only bad guy here yes I may have followed up quite frequently I was young and silly I’ll admit, but your service wasn’t exactly great either frankly claiming you spent hours tuning my car and making it sound good. Feel free to elaborate how a tune can change how my car sounds? all you did was flash a tune and double checked the vehicle wasn’t pinging or knocking. The tool you used looks identical to the IPF tuning tool so I would love to know if you really did a custom tune or was it a generic flash tune?

You were one of our early remote tuning customers. We successfully tuned your V6 vehicle — including custom crackle mapping — using our remote tuning system.
Later, you reached out again after another workshop attempted to download and copy our "crackle" map and bricked the ECU. At that time, we explained we had a significant backlog of remote tuning tools and couldn't prioritise reflashing your ECU — especially since your original tune had already been completed and refunded.
We understand the situation was frustrating, but instead of allowing us time to assist, you began repeatedly messaging our team across various channels — including through multiple fake social media accounts daily. This made communication difficult and unproductive for everyone involved.
We also want to clarify that our team remained professional throughout. While delays can occur during high-demand periods, we never deliberately provided incorrect information. Our goal is always to be transparent and fair.

I had to get a timing chain kit for a VE Commodore. The chaps at REVHIGH knew that it could have been one of two types of chains due to me not knowing the engine build date. So I purchased two sets of chains and returned the unused chains for a full refund. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in future. They provided very good, knowledgeable and friendly service.

They sent the wrong harness for my car. Turns out they never had available the proper harness for my car BUT they said they did when making the sale they told me they have the correct harness and wires.
So here I am about 1 year later still fighting to get my money back!! They keep insisting on sending me the harness NOW because now they’ve manufactured it. Yea a year later when my car is being sold already. I spent about $200 on a clear big mistake from RevHigh and they still don’t understand basic business ethics??! Like I don’t understand why they can’t just give me a return label and refund me my money?? They want my to pay for the shipping back to them which is more than $200! Their business ethics will is absurd!
Now they want to refund me $50 and send me the “correct” harness. Yea a year later when my car is sold! Ridiculous give me my money back. Emailing back and forth since my purchase almost A YEAR ago. Am sticking to American companies that can deliver customer service how IT SHOULD BE. Am %100 they won’t make a customer pay after they messed up on the order/ product. Simple business ethics that they don’t have.

At the time of your order, we supplied the harness based on the vehicle details provided. When you later informed us it was not the correct fit, we acknowledged the issue and took responsibility by working to develop the correct harness specifically for your application — which was not readily available at the time.
This updated harness was developed and shipped before you advised us that the vehicle had been sold. At that point, the order had been fulfilled, and due to the custom nature of the product, we were unable to offer a full refund.
Despite this we did offer a partial refund.

Brought one for my VE SSV ute
Brought one for my VE SSV ute. No more throttle delay. It's turned it into a beast & now I can heal/toe going down through gears. So happy that I got a second unit for our Colorado ltz automatic, also transformed this car from crap throttle response to awesome. Both vehicles have improved fuel economy. Thanks guys. I'm telling as many people as possible. 👍👍👍👍👍
