Mathew came to my house was polite
Mathew came to my house was polite, knowledgeable and fully investigated my issue with the washing machine.
He then made a full explanation of the issues and what I needed to do to fix the problem.
He treated me with respect,and he attended my house exactly when promised.

Scott attended our property today to replace faulty part in our TV. Scott was on time, knowledgeable and fixed our TV without issue. Wouldn't hesitate to use again if ever needed

Not happy
Insurance provider passed me to the Repairguys to fix the TV, the issue was fixed but TV was damaged by the engineer (cracked the the TV frame) and the company denied responsibilty saying they did not open it but they put it on TV rack and open the back of the TV holding the side in while I'm watching and blame it to the age of the TV.

Update: I am sorry you feel that you needed to alter your review of our services but as discussed on our call, we cannot accept liability for an almost invisible 5mm crack in the front bezel when we did not remove that part at any point during the repair process. The most likely cause for this damage is the brittle plastic splitting/cracking due to the age of the TV and through natural expansion/contraction of the frame of the unit due to it warming and cooling during usage over the 8 years you have had it.
Our engineers will always make an initial inspection of the product we are going to work on in case of any marks/scratches or suchlike and would bring anything to your attention prior to commencing the repair. In this instance, even after you reported the crack to me on the phone, it took me a few minutes to find it even though I knew it was there.
After our initial telephone conversation, we also took this to your insurance companies technical team to see if they would like to offer another solution but they have deemed this to be cosmetic damage and would not proceed with any further claims or repair. I then received a call from their call centre asking the same questions to which I had to advise the same response.
We take every precaution to ensure that your product is cared for and use tools and techniques that come from manufacturer guidelines and training to prevent this type of issue but in this instance, we are unable to offer any further assistance.

Matthew has been out to my washing machine several times now as I work it hard. He came again this morning, he’s helpful, very polite and always explains what he’s doing. He’s also incredibly patient with my adult son with autism.

Hayden arrived on time and had ensured he had all the necessary parts for the repair in advance. Completed and tested the repair before replacing the appliance and leaving the area clean and tidy. Very professional and polite making sure he explained what had been done and how to follow up in necessary. Very happy with the service thank you.

Hayden was amazing fixing our washing machine. He went out of his way to get an extra part for it that was needed, travelling some distance to get the job done on the same day. Would recommend having repairs with this company.

Very unhelpful
Very unhelpful. Declined to offer non-warranty repair support for a Sony surround system in the Dorset region as I'm a "postcode out of their area", despite being verbally recommended by Sony customer service, and clearly saying Dorset on their website. Wouldn't even confirm if parts are available for a one year old Sony product and wanted money up front just to have a conversation. If they don't know what's advertised on their website I wouldn't trust these guys to repair anything.

Hi, I am unsure what has been discussed as I do not have a job to reference but I can try to answer some of the points raised. Dorset is not out of our postcode area, we cover the DT postcodes on a Tuesday and Thursday and would happily collect your surround system to for a workshop engineer to diagnose. Unfortunately unless you have provided us with a rating plate photo (model/serial) we would not be able to confirm any parts availability or prices over the phone as it is likely that an engineer would need to inspect first. If the fault was clear and obvious, we would still need some time to identify them and offer a price. With respect to "wanting money up front just to have a conversation", we are always happy to engage with any advice or suggestions prior to sending an engineer to you and incurring a bill. I think there must have been a misunderstanding at some point during the discussion as this all seems a little out of the ordinary. Please don't hesitate to call me if you would like to resolve this problem and proceed with a repair. Regards, Giles

I contacted The Repair Guys on a Tuesday, expecting to have to wait at least a week for an engineer visit. I was told there was an engineer available the following day. Matthew arrived on time, quickly identified that the leak from our washing machine was because of a split in the door seal. He had a spare and had the problem sorted, including a test cycle and re-calibration of the drum, within half an hour of his arrival. Matthew was efficient, organised and informative throughout his visit. Well deserving of 5*
