Beware hidden charges
Had no problem booking the skip. Team, including the driver, were pleasant and helpful.
All went well until the day of the pick up.
After the skip was taken away, REM Waste took a £90 extra charge from my card for removal of “hazardous waste”.
When I queried this, I was told that there were some pieces of plasterboard in one of the bags in the skip.
Hazardous waste?!
Turns out that, although there is no mention of plasterboard on their website, it’s buried in the fine print.
Left a bad taste if I’m honest. I won’t be using them again.
Shame, because otherwise they would have got a good review.

The only skip company that accepts SOIL
The skip was delivered and collected on time. I made changes to my collection date and were accommodated at short notice. Good all round service. I had mainly soil to dispose of and this was the only company I found that could accommodate this

Very bad service
Very bad service. I was promised same day skip so I paid £375 for 8 yards, which is normally £288 including VAT.
How ever I received the skip 3 days later. I would never use them again or recommend their service to anyone!!

The skip was easy to arrange
The skip was easy to arrange, it was delivered and collected on time.
My only issue as per most skip hires is the restrictions of what you can actually skip.
For example garage clearance but would have been charged extra for paint tins etc

Skip was delivered on time
Skip was delivered on time, placed where I wanted it placed, collected on the agreed date without any damage to the drive. Skip was in good order unlike some I've received in the pas from other companies.
