They offer RX frames for purchase, accept payments up front for the price of the prescription, only when they realize they don’t have their pricing “correct” after the fact, they will email you to garnish more funds. I recommend any other company, because if you order from Reloptix and pay them, they’ll email you asking to send them more money due to their lack of due diligence. Their customer service representatives are also completely out of touch, and have no sense of any sort of customer service skills if they think anyone on this planet will accept an email garnishing additional payment after initial payment was already made. Do not order from here, their pricing has hidden additional fees that they will demand from you after you order, or threaten to cancel your order.

Like the title says 1 week after I had ordered my lenses I recieved an email asking me to pay additional fees. I tried to respond saying it isnt right to request more money after point of sales but the service rep "Jason S" replied telling me that normally they wouldve simply cancelled my order while referring me to their right to refuse service. I tried to reason further and was told that I can look elsewhere or pay up as a "brick and mortar company would be charging more money. Im very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service.

I ordered from them three years ago and they charged me an additional $40 to "rush" my order. That extra fee resulted in them processing my order the following day, I received my lenses in under a week and I was completely satisfied. A lot has changed since then however.

Flash forward 3 years: I got a PSVR2 and needed lenses plus I wanted to refresh my Quest 2 lens prescription so I went back to Reloptix. They told me they had a backlog and were very busy. I asked about the expediting fee which I had used the last time. They said that they could "rush" my order for $50 and instead of the 1 day turnaround I got last time, it would be 5 to 7 business days. That's not much of a rush but my VR headset was in transit from Sony and I wanted prescription lenses asap so I agreed to the $50 fee.

5 to 7 business days later, it still hasn't shipped. The owner claims they had some sort of "breakage". I paid them $50 to expedite my order to ship within 5 to 7 business days. If something happened in production, then it is up to them to make it right at least if you have a clue about customer service. But then again, the owner is responding to emails and they don't seem to actually have an organized office with a dedicated customer service department.

I followed up reminding them that my order was supposed to ship at the latest by the previous day and asked them to make things right by either expediting the shipping or giving me a partial refund for the rush fee. The owner responded telling me the "best" he can do is offer a $10 refund or to cancel the rush part of my order. He still couldn’t guarantee that it would ship the next business day and gave me some condescending diatribe about me not understanding how lenses are made. That didn't exactly make me want to stick with them so I cancelled the order and ordered from one of their competitors that does not have a backlog and has reasonable turnaround times for less $$.

It is not unreasonable to expect them to actually fulfill their end of the bargain or at the very least try to make it right if something happens on their end.

If they're incapable of managing the workload, maybe hire more people? That would be the logical next step instead of long wait times and making excuses for not meeting customer expectations.

I would not recommend Reloptix not because of the quality of their product, but because of their unreliability, inconsiderate and downright rude management.

In response to the snarky comment from Reloptix: You seem to not understand that I paid you $50 extra to rush the order and process within 5 to 7 days and you failed to meet this timeline and then couldn't even let me know when it was going to ship. I think most people would have a problem with that. And incidentally, you certainly managed to turn the lenses around in a day the first time I ordered from you. You had 5 to 7 days to make these lenses and failed. Comparing it to a car repair is just ludicrous.

The lenses are a compleate game changer for my quest 3. Really robust and well made ..the lenses themselvs are very high quality and thiner than my glasses !..installation was easy following the video.
My origonal quest 1 became scratched by my glasses rubbing against the lenses
There is a huge improvement in viewing quality due to no distortion or flair from wearing glasses not to mention the improvement to comfort.
It's also important to note that reloptix manufacture higher index lenses ..of all the company's that I looked at only a couple produced them powerful enough to match my prescription.
Packaging is excellent..with a military style hard case and soft lense pouches ..which in my opinion is a bit over the top as they won't be coming out again but if you share your vr and you want to remove them it's a nice touch. Removing them is simple enough using the attached tags meaning no fingers on the lenses and the magnets are more than strong enough to hold them perfectly in place however energetic you get.

If I had one gripe it's that manufacture was a bit longer than I expected but I did order at Xmas time and I think they were a bit snowed under.
Also the instalation video shows the mounts supplied separately in the packaging...but mine were attached to the lenses making me think they had been missed.
If you need to wear glasses for your vr ..YOU NEED THEM ..and you definitely won't regret it ..well worth the wait

recieved the package and had a question and the Reloptix team answered very quickly. The lenses are good and have a much better experience using them. Very easy to install and easy to take out for others to use. The case it came in is great for storing the lenses when I take them out.

So glad I bought the lenses, I can now easily use my Oculus without having to adjust and defog my glasses. Easy to use and they stay in place, best decision EVER!! Customer service was prompt, kind and very helpful. Positive experience all around, highly recommend!!

My lens prescription is difficult to fill due to the strong correction required, and the lab matched it to perfection with these lenses!!!! The quality is beyond anything I expected. Sharp as a tack. Superb clarity. And no more ghosting/reflections now that I don't have to wear my glasses! What a difference! I wish I had ordered these years ago! You will not be disappointed!

These inserts are a complete game changer. I had tried wearing my glasses under the vr headset and I had tried going without glasses at all. Both were uncomfortable and made seeing clearly impossible. These fit my quest 2 perfectly and give me perfect vision while wearing the headset.

I didn't play much vr prior, but these have transformed my experience and I now play happily for hours.

A must have you don't know what you are missing

I had Quest 2 prescription lens inserts from a competitor and they were ok. This time I went with Reloptix for the higher reviews and cheaper cost for the Quest 3. I just got them and installed last night. The quality of the materials and build are outstanding. What a great design and the heavy duty protective case is a nice add-on. The optics were a perfect match for my prescription. When installed, I'm able to shorten the face cover distance which expands my FOV and having the lenses that close also makes the clarity shoot up. Really happy with these and highly recommend.

Very friendly. Active support in their discord. Family owned feeling.

When buying from them, you feel like you are supporting a Mom and Pop store or a local store not a corporation that wants your money. Reloptix actually cares about your satisfaction. They are also gamers with glasses, so they know what we need

The inserts came as promised and were easy to install. They fit better than my previous inserts for Quest 2 from a different company. I can wear them without having to adjust mask spacer!

the magnets don't hold the lenses in the fall out constantly.
while preparing to send them pictures of the install i saw the frames were reversed i corrected the problem and everything works fine thanks to their request clear as a bell no fall out

The lens inserts were a huge difference from glasses. They actually allowed me to use the closest position, covering my visual range in a vastly better FOV with crystal clarity. I didn't notice any perceptible glare or discoloration. Without eyeglass temples keeping the light blocker open, the image looked pure, vibrant and unaffected by external light. It was like I was finally getting to enjoy VR the way it was intended, with a full, vibrant image like a window into VR worlds.

When I received the product, it was upgraded for free to a brand new model designed to help with nose comfort and narrower IPDs, and the new design clearly helped it fit comfortably around the nose even without a narrow IPD issue.

The adapters and frames felt surprisingly strong and sturdy even on the narrow side, and the lenses snapped right into place once I found the correct orientation (the tags should be at the bottom outside edges). The magnets seemed strong enough to hold tight and the construction felt built to last.

The packaging and case were basically next level. They were very sturdy, attractive, and functional. A small hand-written note was a nice touch after a communication issue early on. The company owners were very responsive to myself and other customers on Discord, going the extra mile to even implement design feedback and ensure it made its way into ongoing orders at the time.

The attention to product quality and detail was first rate. I would absolutely recommend the product.

I can finally see in VR!! These lenses are amazing. I got them in 8 business days. 3 days after they shipped (US). The video was very helpful on how to install correctly and quickly. Then WOW!!! I am glad to be back in the game without the awful feeling of glasses.

The lens inserts look exactly like my current glasses. It is a transcendent experience, because now I can jam the headset right up to my eyes and not worry about my glasses scratching the headset lens.

Shipped in 7-10 days. I paid for 3-day shipping and received on day 3. Installation was a snap (literally). The Reloptix installation video was extremely helpful. The lenses were PERFECT! They nailed the Rx. Totally life changing, as now I can just pick up my Quest 2 and use without having to put in contact lenses. The protective case is really cool and well built, as are the padding and extras inside. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE! My kit came with 2 left bases, inadvertently. I contacted Reloptix on a Thursday afternoon at 4:03 PM. I received a response at 4:06 PM. That's right. 3 freaking minutes. The response: "opps! sorry. We will send out a right base today". I received it in on a Monday at 10:00 AM with the following handwritten note: Dear Kev, decided to give you 2 right bases in case you decide to pick up another pair". Great product. Great company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My Reloptix optical lens order arrived this week for my Reverb G2 VR headset, and things are looking sharp. The thing I like the most is the clever two-part mounting system. The mounting base wasn't very difficult to affix to the headset's lenses (much easier than the optical lenses I'd used from a different manufacturer, which came loose from the headset really easily), and most of all how the optical lenses themselves can be removed and reseated on the mounting base with no problem at all. A really top notch, well-engineered product.
