The ladder rungs are painful on your feet
The Anmer adult bunk beds we ordered look great and were easy to put together. However, the ladder rungs are small and circular and actually very hard and painful on your feet. We've asked four people to test this so far and they report the same issue. I called Reinforced Beds and they said we'd have to source some padding for the rungs as its not something they provide. This doesn't make the ladder fit for purpose so beware you'll need to wear shoes to climb into the top bunk!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you were happy with the overall appearance of the bed and found assembly straightforward.
We are sorry to learn that you found the ladder uncomfortable to use. The ladder design, including the tubular metal rungs, is shown clearly in the product images and specifications so that customers can make an informed decision before purchasing. While many customers are happy with this style of ladder, we appreciate that comfort can be subjective and may vary from person to person.
Thank you again for your comments. Customer feedback is always valuable to us and helps other shoppers decide which product is best suited to their needs.

Excellent except for one thing
Excellent except for one thing. We couldn't make the screws to secure the top bunk bed to the bottom bunk bed work. A piece of dowell wasn't adequate, so we joined them with metal joining strips, a bit unsightly.

So happy with my new bed base...
Spent ages trying to find the perfect bed base. The black metal bed base (king size) is perfect. Excellent price point and outstanding quality. Once assembled by AIT, I was extremely happy that it worked so well with my newly purchased Harry Benmore Mattress. Would certainly recommend Reinforced Beds. I shall be purchasing a smaller one for the spare bedroom.

The Sandringham shaker solid oak bed is…
The Sandringham shaker solid oak bed is strong and well made. It was easy for me to put together by myself, although the instructions say to use a Philips screwdriver, which is okay, but using a PZ2 would be better with the type of screws supplied.
I contacted customer service for an update and they were friendly and helpful. Delivery was fine too.
I expect this bed will last me a long time. I have combined it with a Simba Hybrid Pro mattress and it is extremely comfortable.

The drawers are generally very nice
The drawers are generally very nice, but unfortunately the metal parts arrived damaged and scratched, which is very sad because these are not cheap items.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that parts of your order arrived with damage, as this is certainly not the standard we aim to provide.
We cannot see that you have contacted us regarding this issue, but if you would like us to investigate further, please send us some photographs of the affected parts and we will be happy to look into the matter for you.
The strongest beds available on the market probably
I found the ordering process, and communication, via email and phone, to be perfectly acceptable when ordering a Calthorpe bed and 'The Brick' mattress. Delivery was fluid and hassle free with the two man delivery to a room of choice. The bed frame is extremely strong and silent, and the mattress really lives up to its name. It was just what I wanted. Thank you.

Bad service
No instructions for assembly. No holes in bed for fixing head board. Unhelpful and unapologetic customer services.

Missing parts!
This bed was for my disabled daughter. I paid the extra to have it delivered on the Saturday so I knew I could be there and get it set up, as her other bed broke, so got removed Saturday morning.
The delivery men were brash and unhelpful. They dumped the box at the bottom of our stairs, but I dealt with it. Started to put it together and realised the were pieces missing. I contacted the delivery driver and he said that's all they had.
As it was a weekend we were unable to speak to anyone! So my daughter ended up sleeping on the floor.
I will say that they did respond on the Monday and sent the rest of the bed on the Tuesday, they also gave me "some" of my delivery charge back as I requested!

Extra firm mattress for my son
Extra firm mattress for my son, being a little cuddlier. Very good, supportive, comfortable. The delivery driver's were extremley polite and efficient, disposing of our old mattress with no questions asked. I have used Reinforced beds before, for the bed base. Fantastic company.
