I’ve noticed several identical jewellery pieces being sold by another brand on instagram at a much lower price… I was shocked to see that the Ophelia ring I bought for £50 and the exact same ring listed with the other brand for £18!!!!
Recreation Jewels markets their pieces as being designed by them, which makes the price markup and overlap with other brands very concerning. It gives the impression of exclusivity that doesn’t seem to match reality.
Some honesty and clarity is needed. I feel scammed by them.

Purchased the Diana’s necklace 2 months ago and I can’t even keep count of the number of compliments I’ve received from my friends and people who’ve walked past. I also wear it as a belt chain too . Can’t wait to purchase more in the future. Definitely worth the money.

Purchased a ring and necklace approx…
Purchased a ring and necklace approx £60 for 2 items at the pop up store held in urban outfitters. One of the Ring stones fell out after wearing it after a couple of days and so emailed on the website. I haven’t had an email back to offer me an exchange or refund so very disappointed hence my review. Purchased some of their exact items they sell on their website on shien so felt actually I had been had. If you Google picture search many of the items you can get the items for a few pound on shien and temu. Fair play to the business for selling it under a different brand. I definitely got had.

BEST MATCHA AND JEWELLERY SPOT IN EDINBURGH
Came in when I was passing by on a walk one day and discovered the best jewellery shop in Edinburgh!! Every staff member was so lovely and helpful, I was able to exchange a ring for a different size with no bother at all. Can’t believe most pieces were under £30 as well. I also had a mango sticky rice matcha late and can confirm as a matcha connoisseur that it is of top quality and one of the best I’ve had!! Definitely worth a look.

I bought the Viola Heart Pendant during their pop up at St Andrews and I’m so impressed. It’s so cute and it still looks amazing after weeks of everyday wear. The staff are also so sweet and helpful and made it so easy to find the perfect piece for me.

Scam. Same things are all from Ali express for all under 10 pounds gutted because I love supporting small brands but the quality is fake and will turn your skin green.

Ignore stockists and messages, only reply to public comments, not waterproof
Ordered from their stockist (Wolf & Badger) and had two major issues:
1. Weeks before the item shipped. I contacted W&B and they said they had contacted Recreation with no response - all they could do was cancel or wait. I tried messaging Recreation on instagram and got no reply, until I commented on a post. Quick to delete my comment and message me - but then didn't reply to my reply til I commented on ANOTHER post.
2. Not waterproof - gold colouring rubbed off in first day of at-home wear. Again, contacted W&B, they contacted Recreation, and no reply for weeks. Either reply to your stockist or just don't use one!
Piece was cute but overpriced - I thought fair enough as being waterproof it could last forever, but that's not the case, and there's no guarantee/warranty system like you get with other brands i.e. Monica Vinader. (and no guarantee of replies lol)

The piece in question is part of a limited collection that does not use PVD gold plating, unlike the rest of our waterproof range. We’re very sorry this wasn’t made clear. Exceeded expectations
I wasn’t expecting to love this brand as much as I do. I ordered on a whim after seeing them on Instagram, and now I wear their jewellery every day. The Maria's celestial Bangle and Paloma's Ring have held up so well — no tarnishing, even after wearing them in the shower. Diana’s Necklace is probably my favourite, it looks so expensive and always gets compliments. Everything arrived quickly and felt really special, from the packaging to the customer service. Honestly just really solid jewellery that looks good, lasts, and doesn’t cost a fortune. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Not original - same jewellery on Alibaba for less
Did a reverse image search and found the exact same jewellery sold on Alibaba and AliExpress for a fraction of the price. This store markets itself as offering “affordable luxury” and original pieces, but it’s clearly just dropshipping mass-produced items. Feels misleading - shop around before you buy.

I’d like to keep supporting a small business BUT..
Over the past year I have purchased several items from pop ups, however after a few months I’ve had gems fall off and jewellery tarnishing. I’d like to keep supporting a small business and the staff are really lovely. However when 4 out of 6 items I have bought have faults it’s a bit disappointing..

Got the Eloise bangle from one of their pop-ups and although they claim it wouldn’t have tarnished it did after 2 days of use. Such a waste of my money won’t be buying again

Our Eloise star bangle is 18k gold plated with pvd and is completely waterproof so that shouldn't have happened. In the very rare case that any product is defective we always replace it straight away.

I purchased a necklace from this business and it tarnished within a couple of wears. I looked online and I saw the exact same jewellery on Ali express for really cheap. Disappointing to see a young brand be disingenuous and contribute to fast fashion. Will not be purchasing again.
