I wish I have one store like this in my city.

I placed an order for two pieces of jewellery over a week ago (2-4 days delivery time). I've had one email confirmation and nothing else. There's no telephone number listed and the emails listed have bounced back. I have sent a number of messages on the website but not had a response. So frustrating as a customer and I'm still not sure if my order will ever arrive.

Friendly staff and gorg jewellery to choose from

The jewellery is beautiful and long lasting and the staff are super kind and helpful. I wore their earrings and necklace to a concert and they held up really well. The jewellery is very high quality and I will definitely be buying more here in the future.

EDIT: They have responded saying they don’t dropship, which is not something I accused them of. I said they use the same suppliers, which is different to dropshipping, and also objectively true. Read any 1 star review of theirs and you’ll see that their ‘luxury quality’ does not exist, unfortunately. The plating wore off of my bracelet in 3 wears, turned my wrist green (I have photos) and they would not refund me. Shameful.

Despite their claims that they don’t use the same suppliers as AliExpress sellers, they do. I bought a bracelet from their pop-up in Urban Outfitters after being assured that the piece was gold plated stainless steel and waterproof - surprise, it wasn’t. The bracelet turned my skin green and the plating wore off after 2 wears, and I found an identical bracelet on AliExpress which states it is a copper-zinc mix (makes sense to why my skin went green). All their rings are available on AliExpress for half the price and they’re even selling a £15 necklace for almost £90! I asked for a refund or replacement and they refused so I charged back via my bank and reported them to trading standards for lying about the materials used for their products - which is incredibly dangerous for anyone with allergies. I also reported them to Wolf and Badger which is why this brand is no longer stocked by them.

They used to have an ‘about me’ section for the owner about how she used to run a dropshipping business during the COVID pandemic but funnily enough they’ve deleted that after all these reviews, I wonder why…

I found Recreational Jewels after seeing the lovely Brianna Chickenfry wearing the Arabella’s Vintage Chain Necklace. It reminded me of ones my mom wore when I was a little girl, and I instantly knew I needed it. I ordered the necklace and matching bracelet as a Christmas gift for myself and wow. Just WOW!!

Shipping to the U.S. was insanely fast and easy to track.. it even arrived a day early (day before Christmas- so perfect!) The pieces are absolutely GORGEOUS and so beautifully crafted. I wear them with literally everything (yes, even sweats 😂) and get compliments every time I leave the house. I’ve been dealing with some kind of face allergy/rash that I can’t hide, going on 2+ years, and it’s definitely taken a toll on my confidence.. but I can honestly say I feel SO PRETTY when I’m wearing my RJ jewelry!! I know it sounds silly, but it’s been really rough and this just gave me that little boost I needed 🥰

Since my first order, I’ve placed another order… and another… and I’m about to place another one. It’s impossible to choose just a few things because I love it all! I even ordered Sandra’s Wave ring to wear as my wedding band💕 I just wish I lived closer..but maybe that’s a good thing or else I’d go broke lol

And what really made me fall in love with Recreational Jewels - the owner is an absolute angel! She replied to my message I sent in on their website right away and was SO kind and genuine. Just seeing that she took the time to do that meant so much to me, especially in today’s world. That’s why I am trying to share everywhere how AMAZING this business is!

Ordered multiple pieces for Christmas and was really looking forward to the Bracelet , opened today and noticed after an hour the gem in my bracelet is loose and would fall out in the bag it arrived in. Was disapointed but company have been in good contact

As I have never used this shop before and have no prior experience of them, my only advice is AVOID!!

US buyer, necklace got here sooner than I really expected. Packaged very beautifully. Piece was gorgeous. Will buy from here again!

I’m honestly shocked at how badly this whole experience has gone. I’ve shopped with Recreation Jewels before and always loved their pieces, but this has been nothing short of infuriating. I ordered a birthday gift on the 26th of November, plenty of time, you’d think, yet the original order went "missing", the necklace I chose turned out to be out of stock, and when a replacement was finally sent, it was shipped with Royal Mail Tracked 48 instead of Special Next Day Delivery like they reassured. So of course, it didn’t arrive in time, and my girlfriend went without a birthday present.

What makes this even worse is the response I got when I raised my concerns. Instead of a personalised message or any sense of accountability, the owner replied with what was clearly a generic ChatGPT-generated response. After everything that went wrong, that’s honestly insulting.

They were very quick to take £70 from me, but suddenly incredibly reluctant to give it back when their mistakes left me empty-handed. This has been a terrible experience from start to finish, and nowhere near the standard I expected from a shop I used to trust.

Ordered a few rings from here and even after a year of having their rings , they all look brand new. It hasn’t reacted with my super sensitive hands either so definitely worth it for the sensitive girlies👍 the customer service was helpful with sizing too.

I recently ordered from here after seeing it on tiktok and brought so many gorgeous pieces! It’s been 6 months and they’ve lasted so well and haven’t rusted or tarnished! The staff also wrote a really sweet note in the parcel and the customer service have been exceptional as I had to also change my address. I can’t wait to order more from recreation jewels in the future and DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!
