Worst school… I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I had someone warn me before I attended but I didn’t listen. I should’ve, I’ve wasted a year of my life and thousand and thousands of dollars. I’m not sure if it was the switch to WK but it was very unorganized. Trying so hard to make students pass because they couldn’t give us appropriate exams. Gave some points back on a pharmacology exam because nationwide almost all students failed. Even professors were saying how ridiculous it was. I felt like I was scammed, truly. Had to switch schools it’s that bad. Accreditation is being questioned from what I heard.

If I could give -50 stars I would in a heart beat. I’m in my last quarter and the whole process has been a nightmare. I have had 5 advisors since I started( I attended 2 years) and I only had 1 who actually showed they cared about us students. I had a past advisor who was so lazy that I requested a new advisor of which the advisor told me my request was declined. I asked to speak to the dean or someone else and they refused to speak to me.
My current advisor is extremely passive, condescending and puts low effort to assisting me with questions. In addition, idk what it is but when I call no one answers. Matter of fact, I called Financial aid and I got voicemail however I received an email shortly after asking what I needed LOL
I’m always charged a lot of unnecessary fees and they do change up costs on their own accord
The classes are fine- I do like they have CBE classes where you can go at your own pace.
Overall this school has caused my stress and debt than not. If I could do it over again I would chose another school who is reputable about caring and supporting students.

I applied to Rasmussen University in August 2025, completed every step of the process, and was told I was accepted. Shortly after, my acceptance was revoked with vague accusations of “discrepancies” and “dubious authenticity.” When I asked what specifically was wrong, Rasmussen refused to explain.

After looking into it, I learned that many students have gone through the same thing—sudden rejections, no explanation, and refusal to clarify. This seems to be part of a larger pattern of admissions issues at Rasmussen.

If there truly was an error with my FAFSA or records, I should have been told so I could fix it. Instead, Rasmussen left me without answers and possibly unable to start my degree this semester.

Based on my experience (and what others have reported), Rasmussen does not treat prospective students with fairness or honesty. I cannot recommend this institution.

By far the biggest scam university on the planet

The worst college I've ever dealt with, completely unprofessional, chasing after me for money even though I DON'T OWE IT and I have proof of that, stay FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!

So far, I can honestly say that this school seems to hire people without prior experience in teaching. I had an awful professor by the name of Marc Master. He teaches marketing and boy was he a piece of work. It is a huge red flag he was boasting how many of his students tend to drop out of his class. Don't get me wrong he is very knowledgeable in what does but he is by far one of the most unprofessional individuals ever. If you do the assignment incorrectly, he will bash you during the live student lecture. I complained about him twice regarding his behavior and dropped out twice from his class just to be told he is the only professor available that teaches this class when I expressed to my student advisor my terrible experience with him. Honestly, this school has no consideration of feelings. I think it depends on your student advisor. The only person who was great to me is Mona Rae of the Illinois location. Keep in mind you will be charged the tuition even if you withdraw which is such bs. Do your research before attending here. While I do like the flexibility, some of the professors are just awful and it shows how they present themselves in the videos

This school doesn’t even deserve one star. I’m nearly halfway through the program, and I truly regret not reading these reviews before enrolling. Things took a turn for the worse when they switched to Wolters Kluwer during my second semester. Since then, everything has been chaotic. Many students are failing, and it feels like the school is more focused on taking our money than actually educating us.

There’s no proper guidance or real teaching just endless PowerPoint presentations that we sit through for hours. That time would be better spent studying independently. The assignments often don’t count toward your grade, and the material we’re taught doesn’t even show up on the exams. Professors seem just as lost as we are because the exams are AI-generated, making it feel like a complete guessing game.

I had no choice but to drop some classes because this new system is unmanageable. It’s heartbreaking to see students being set up to fail, only to be forced to retake and repay for classes. This cycle is unfair and exploitative. I truly hope this school is held accountable. Students deserve better.

Exam were done 2 weeks ago at Rasmussen and no answers, no accountability. We are paying a large expense and we are dedicating to exsorbant hours focuing on our education
This is the 2nd semester and it has not
gotten better.
Multiple meetings and emails but still no resolve on the exam issues, the classroom lectures and core curriculum don't match the exams.
Students are teaching themselves by utilizing multiple resources outside what is provided to attempt to pass exams.

Waiting on my appeal I failed a class because of there lack of guidance only failed by one percent and I’m at risk of loosing my financial aid and having to pay out of pocket which I can’t afford. This new system was not implemented correctly and everyone failed 1 and 2 across many many states. I just feel so helpless I reached out to everyone higher up and no solution.

Extremely Disappointed with the Nursing Program at Rasmussen College - Brandon, FL

I have two students currently attending the nursing program at Rasmussen College in Brandon, FL, and our experience has been far from satisfactory. The last semester was an absolute disaster. The school had to adjust exam scores and offer remediation to students due to the ongoing issues.

The biggest problem has been the disconnect between the curriculum and the exams. The students are not provided with the proper materials, lessons, or guidance to succeed. Despite numerous emails from the school promising to correct these issues, nothing has been done. The curriculum doesn't align with the exams, and when students ask professors if the lessons will be tested, the response is always, "We don’t know."

As a result, many students, including my own, are struggling to meet the minimum grade requirement. The lack of support and clarity has been disheartening. To make matters worse, the school is currently on probation from the state nursing board.

At this point, I cannot recommend Rasmussen College in Brandon, FL, for their nursing program. If you're considering this school, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Graduated in 2022 from this establishment. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this school. Save money, time, and stress by finding a better school!

Their new Wolter Kluwers system is failing all students across the entire nation, every campus of Rasmussen, their Orlando campus is on probation to losing their accreditation. The worst mistake I made

Please no one should come to this school. It is a terrible university professor, and the Dean on the Aurora campus is racist, especially the pharmacology professor very wicked Lynne Bernard

I was going to attend this University but I wasn't aware that there was a technology fee of $200 on top of the $220 per credit hour on top of the book fees on top of this and that and also when I got on to the class on the first day and I looked through everything I decided that this was just too much for me to even try to handle in a course of 5 weeks especially with having a child that has behavioral issues so it's just no way that I can handle this so I had a message the advisor and ask them to withdraw me. The admissions advisor had called me back and ask me questions it was a little bit pushy with me not really a little bit quite a bit pushy with me to be honest and when I had explained to them the reasons why I didn't feel like I wanted to go there it's like they try to talk you into staying when you already say that you're sure that you do not want to be there and when I told him about the price then I was asked questions about my personal life and my personal income that had nothing whatsoever to do with that University and was none of that man's business whatsoever so with his rudeness and his personal questions about my personal life and his unprofessionals I'm very glad it said that we was on a recorded line because I'm going to contact the Department of Education because I felt very uncomfortable during that telephone call I should have not been made to feel that way I should have not been asked questions about my personal life or my income or anything else of that nature after I withdrew from that University none of their business the pushiness and the snottiness that I experienced today and the unprofessionalism that came from that man was unacceptable, and I expect somebody to do something about it so that way if any other student feels like they should withdraw they should not be made to feel like or be put into a position to be made felt like I did today! If anything, I am owed a serious sincere apology!!

Beware of this University. The online curriculum for medical coding is horrible, and they have hidden fees they'll harass you with once you leave for another University.

I graduated as an LPN on sep 14,2024 and my experience at Rasmussen was fantastic. I had incredible professors who were always willing to support me throughout my journey, and the staff was also very helpful.

I started this program on 7/7/24, and I also went in with a lot of doubt as to whether this school would be a great fit or if I would even get a quality education. I must say that I have never had a bad experience in this school, and all of the professors I have had the pleasure to sit in class with have been amazing, knowledgeable, and caring. I am about one week away from finishing this program and can truthfully say that even though it is a complex program and you get what you give out of it, it does give you a strong foundation for nursing knowledge. I have had the pleasure to get to know amazing professors, smart and brilliant, and they want to see us succeed. They have been there, done that. They understand and make themselves available to help. I am super thankful I came here!!! Although I won't miss nursing school, I will miss what it has taught me!
