Beautiful and delicious cupcakes
It was easy to order online although I had a bit of difficulty checking out but it got sorted in the end. The cupcakes got delivered earlier than expected which was good but the courier - DPD - delivered to the wrong address so I had to chase them myself even though he had the postcode. Mention should be made to the couriers that if in difficulty finding an address, then to ring the sender, not just leave the package where you think it is even though the address is wrong. Apart from this the cupcakes were beautifully packaged and delicious! Would definitely use Rachaels Kitchen again.

Cupcake delivery was quick
Cupcake delivery was quick, the cupcakes looked fantastic and paid a little extra to get a tin for the cupcakes which is great. The reason of me given 4 stars is that I just think that the icing is a bit solid.

Thank you so much for your review! We’re delighted to hear the cupcakes arrived quickly, looked fantastic, and that you enjoyed the tin.
We really appreciate your feedback about the icing - our buttercream is a set buttercream, which means it will naturally firm up over time as the butter sets, unlike a softer cream cheese-style frosting. We’ll certainly take your comments on board, and we hope to bake for you again soon! 🧁
I spoke to someone personally and…
I spoke to someone personally and explained the necessity for the delivery and you chose not to do what it would take to make certain the delivery happened.
So the delivery did not happen. It HAD to be on the agreed date.
I am devastated. This can never be got back and never be made up for. I will tell everyone I know and I will never use you again.

Thank you for your message, and I am truly sorry for the distress and disappointment this situation has caused you.
I completely understand how important it was for this delivery to arrive on the agreed date, especially given the time sensitive nature you clearly communicated to us. I appreciate how much effort you put into arranging this, and I’m very sorry that, despite this, the delivery did not take place as required.
Following our conversation on Friday, We ensured that all delivery instructions were carefully added to the DPD system, and we also attached a clearly visible additional label to the parcel
Despite these measures, the courier unfortunately did not follow the instructions, and I fully appreciate that this has had a significant impact that cannot now be undone. I am deeply sorry for this outcome.
We are raising this as a formal complaint with DPD to understand exactly what went wrong and to help prevent this from happening again.
While I understand this does not resolve the situation, we will be refunding your delivery charge in full to your original payment method. In addition, we will place a credit on your account for the order value should you choose to use our services again in the future.

Good company and item very well…
Good company and item very well packaged lovely cup cakes but only problem is when you order 6 you can’t choose your own, it would be better if you could or make it 8 cup cakes and let the customer choose their own.

We really appreciate your feedback about selection size. We do offer our Fill Your Own Box of 12, which allows more flexibility across our range of nearly 40 flavours, giving customers much more choice. Our Tasting Menu – Box of 6 is designed as a smaller curated selection.
We’ll certainly pass your comments on, and we hope to bake for you again soon! 🧁

Disappointed with delay
I’ve ordered many times and so has my husband.
Unfortunately the courier sent an email saying these delivery would be delayed and they could not guarantee they would be delivered next day.
It wasn’t a speedy response Racheals. I had asked if they could resend as although normally very fresh sometimes they have been a tiny bit dry and also it was 26 degrees so did not think they would be in good condition.
The reply email said these delivery courier confirmed they would’ve delivered the next day and they would be fresh for 5 days. I suppose it was lucky it wasn’t for a birthday on a specific day.

Six cupcakes for a birthday treat
I bought my wife six cupcakes for her birthday. It’s been hard to find her cake or treats that she will love as often it assumed Vegans only eat salad. I so pleased with how the arrived, carefully packaged and beautifully presented. Even the tin which can be used again. The cakes themselves are a naughty sweet treat and with her favourite biscuit themes. The delivery was very fast too. Thank you so much.

Everything went smoothly. Your website is easy to navigate. We pre-ordered the gift as it was a birthday present for a friend. The cup cakes arrived on time and the delivery firm kept us up to date. The cup cakes were delicious according to my friend. Thank you.
