Very very disappointed
I put in my order earlier for a birthday party and was let down by DPD delivery. The cakes arrived 2 days after the party! The cakes were not at their best. All Rachaels offered was a refund of the delivery charge (£6.75 of a near £80 order) and a box of cakes in the future…
Rachaels seemed to have no recourse to DPD and DPD constantly lied. Totally unacceptable. I am a repeat customer and expected better from them.

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience, this is certainly not what we want for our customers, especially for such an important occasion.
While we always aim to meet requested dates, our delivery days are preferred rather than guaranteed, as they are handled by our courier once the order leaves us. That said, we completely understand how disappointing this must have been, particularly given the delay and the impact on your celebration.
We do always try to offer a fair resolution when issues arise and will continue to review both our courier performance and how we support customers in these situations.
As a returning customer, we truly hope you can understand, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Absolutely incredible quality 👏 you get what you pay for, I personally got 12 cupcakes and that works out to be £3 a cake. Bargain in my opinion and quality through the roof. Will always order from here now

Delicious and light
Easy to order, the cakes were delivered on time. I bought these for my daughter's 40th birthday, she said they were absolutely delicious abd so light. Will definitely consider buying these again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

This product was beautifully presented
This product was beautifully presented, the packaging to protect the cupcakes was clever and easy to remove without touching the actual cakes.
I would encourage anyone to pay the £3 for the optional tin as it means the cakes don’t necessarily need to be removed and put on plates. The tins are definitely cheaper than most of that quality if bought in a shop.
My daughter and I had a constant flow of compliments regarding the taste of the cakes at her Baby Shower. I had left a menu of flavours next to the cakes and a number of guests took a photo of the contact details to order some.
The sister company, Bear’s Brownies, also provided unique and delicious brownies.
Allergen information was clearly indicated on the order process and on the menu card inside the tins.

After my experience a risk not work taking again
I have already emailed Rachel's Kitchen to inform them of my experience which sadly was very disappointing. The cakes were something different and instead of a birthday cake for a very special birthday. After ordering I had a few queries which were handled ok but I eventually had to call to make sure we understood each other because I wasn't totally convinced. The cakes arrived promptly and in pristine condition. When I opened the box in front of my guests there was a gasp because they looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the cakes were very dry and when you put your fork into them they just crumbled. I had given some out before I realised otherwise I wouldn't have done it. What saved the day was a family member came to the party with a cake so I could use this as a substitute. Not sure why this happened because this is their core business, the bottom line is it never should.

We did respond to your email and offered either a replacement order or a credit on your account as a gesture of goodwill, however we have not yet received a response to this offer.
We always aim to resolve any issues fairly and promptly, and your comments have been shared with our team for review as part of our ongoing quality checks.

Very grateful to whoever processed my order for accurately transcribing the note despite it being about Cake and Cunnilingus day. I’d assumed it would be typed / automatically printed - much nicer that it wasn’t. Please pass on my thanks to whomever wrote it out. P.S. neat handwriting!

Birthday buns
The buns were fantastic apart from one, the lemon meringue was damaged like someone had put there thumb in it , obviously I know it may have been damaged in transit so I will probably not order that one next time but apart be from that the bunes tasted fantastic
