I ordered cupcakes from Rachel’s…
I ordered cupcakes from Rachel’s Kitchen for my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
Although I understand the issue may have initially been with the delivery driver, I was the one left dealing with the consequences. Clear delivery instructions were provided but were ignored, and as a result, I never received the cupcakes.
Rachel’s Kitchen did contact the driver to attempt a redelivery, but this made no difference as the instructions were still not followed. In the end, I had no choice but to quickly arrange another cake from a different store to avoid ruining my daughter’s birthday.
What is most frustrating is that despite all this inconvenience, no refund was offered and no one took real responsibility for the situation.
Very disappointing experience, especially for such an important occasion.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry to hear about the issues with your delivery, especially for such an important occasion.
Your order was dispatched on time, but DPD experienced access issues which resulted in delays and redirection to a pickup point. We did liaise with them throughout, but unfortunately once parcels are in their network we are limited in what we can directly control.
We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, and we’d really appreciate the opportunity to look into this further for you. Please could you email us at yum@rachaelskitchen.co.uk so we can help resolve this with you.

Great cupcakes always delivered on time…
Great cupcakes always delivered on time and quality is exceptional; but the sponge has definitely shrunk over time and no longer packed with refrigeration in mind - sadly even Rks are guilty of value engineering / shrinkflation

We’re sorry to hear your thoughts on sponge size and packaging. We can confirm we haven’t made any changes to our recipe or cupcake size, and we always aim to maintain consistency and quality.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share this, and your comments will be passed to the team 🧁
Easy to order and beautiful cakes.
Easy ordering process and great quality cakes. These were for my wedding as I had a friend who needed Gluten Free and so could not have any of the wedding cake, and the rose topped gluten free cup cakes were a great substitution. I was kept informed at all times and the cakes arrived exactly as I requested. I would definitely use this company again!
