They charged me £179 for nothing. They charged me for Ambient temperature sensor. Price for Sensor is : £32 from kai

Ambient temperature sensor cost me £179.00 without fixed. Waste of money
I went to Kia Hummingbird for 4th year full service of my KIA Ceed’s car.
When I booked for service, I mentioned all things what I wanted to repair (including ambient temperature), they told me, it will take one day to full service. I was happy with that. I handed over my car on service station, and afternoon I got call from them we have ordered some part so, we keep your car overnight with us. Next day afternoon got call from them with same statement. Day after tomorrow same statement. That process keeps running for 7 days. And on 8th day (Friday afternoon) I got call your car is ready, please collect today before 5 pm.
I paid, invoice of £2,899.00 with diagnose and replacement cost of an ambient temperature, though my car is in warranty that cover by kia.
When I started my car, an ambient temperature shows me 35c, that was completely wrong, before I drive my car home from service station, I called service staff and told him, it is still showing wrong temperature. Service staff given me a silly answer, I was because of, we park your car outside in hot temperature, once car will cool down It will show you correct, if doesn’t please update me on Monday. But there is no changed on it. I email him with picture. They booked my car for one day to repair it. But same issue, same process we want to keep your car for 3 to 4 days for diagnose. And will charge you for that.

Diagnosis revealed an expensive problem with my car. Not a happy position. However QCS' explained clearly what was happening and why the replacement of the parts was necessary. The main car brand distributor's diagnosis was not explained by the main distributor and in the end proved inaccurate. QCS on the other hand dealt with the situation very professionally and in a very helpful manner. Highly recommended.

I took my car to MOT city inWinnersh for MOT. It is elderly like me. It failed & was put right the same day,with the head man personally staying late to finish as he new it was for a disability car. The work was obviously good because it felt better than it has for years. I would recommend this company to anyone,they are good.

I went to Quality Car Service to fix my AdBlue car problem. The initital invoice was £1915. Car - as they said - needed tank and pump relacement. When the part arrived from Germany they called me and increased the cost to £2.900 because other part needed replacement. After a research i found the below
1. They overcharged 25% more for the parts
2. The additional cost for other parts was £178 and they tried to charge me £560
3. Based on Audi erwin system the total hours for the repair was 2.2 hours and they charged me for 5 hours
4. The diagnostic was 1 hour and they charged me for 2.2 hours.

After i sent them diagrams and proof for the above they reduced the final invoice to £1850.

Consclusion, i was very lucky that i knew people and let me know for the actual cost so i paid £1850 instead to £2900. The difference was huge.There are evidences for everything. (Invoice, emails, diagrams, )

Not sure the AdBlue system needed replacement but can't prove anything

They had my car for 4 days just to replace a lambda sensor, another 5 to find a leak, in the cooling system. they charge double than others for the work and if they have to order replacement pice for the car they will add 70% commission for themselves. It is my fault for not reading the comments and rushing into taking the car to them. They don't need a lot of costumers, just a few ignorant ones that are willing to pay, to keep the business.

Super service - mot booked and carried out efficiently- even wash and vac car for me!

I booked my car in for a major service with Quality Car Service yesterday as had used them before and been previously impressed. I will however think twice before using them again after yesterdays experience.

I took my car in at 9am having booked it in three days earlier for a major service. I had not heard anything back from them by 2pm so i called the garage for an update to be told my car was being worked on as we spoke and that they would call me once my car was ready to collect. I still had not heard anything back by 5pm so i just decided to go down there anyway as they close at 5.30 and didn't want to risk the garage being closed. When i got there my vehicle was still on the ramp being attended to.

When my car was ready i was told a few small issues that needed to be done and that they would call me the next day to price up the job but i have heard nothing from them.

The main thing that annoyed me though was when i went back to my vehicle to find oily hand prints all over my car body work when i was expecting my car to be valeted which is included in their service. Also when looking under my bonnet this morning i have found the two nuts that hold the fuel filter casing in place have been sheared off so it is loose.

This has now put me off using this garage having been previously impressed by them and it's safe to say i will not be going back for the repairs required.

Great customer Service, got my annoying engine warning light fixed, fitted me in really quickly. Comfortable reception with WiFi, tea and coffee so you can work easily if you have to wait.

I cycled to pick my car up and I was helped by Ben (thank you Ben 😉👍🏻) to get my bike in my car.

Guys done an excellent job on 2 cars of mine .latest one being my saxo faield the mot they described what is failed on gave me a quote had it in and out within a day with a fresh ticket and a brilliant payment plan. Big thanks to rob keeping in contact throughout and for being so understanding

Booked car for MOT, full service and replace front discs and pads.
The Service was excellent and done to " Fahren Wie Neu " ... Drive like New.
Always made to feel welcome and always offered Tea or Coffee.
This is my 2nd Yearly visit for Servicing and MOT along with the odd call in for advise with dash lights/messages appearing which they have dealt with for me.
The Vehicle has been Serviced and MOT'd and even a valet inside and out which is a nice part of the service.
Thanks to all and to Rob for his help. It's nice to know also that they had no problem running me back and even come and picked me up when car was ready. Being Disabled this really does help too.
A few improvements made to the reception area which is always clean and tidy, personally I preferred the old reception but the service and welcome is still the same. I would recommend anyone give them a try.

QCS exceeded my expectations in both the quality and the range of service given. I regret sticking with main dealers and not coming to QCS earlier. Thanks to QCS and their thorough, knowledgeable and customer-focused approach, I have now made a start on work that should have been carried out during the three and a half years in which I have owned the car. I will happily go back to QCS in six months to continue this process.

Today 31/09/2018 I was booked into Petch car sales and service showroom in Belmont Durham. I have a Mazda car and the service centre had made arrangements for the air conditioning system to be rectified. When I receive such excellent customer service as I did today from Lee I believe this is one way of showing appreciation. Well done.

First of all I never review anything, I am just that sort of customer.
HOWEVER Quality Car Service so impressed me I just had to make the effort. I stumbled across them from a Facebook ad that had an MOT for £25 half the price of my usual garage so thought I would take a chance. A warm greeting from Rob and the team and what seemed like a genuinely nice place to work made me think I had made a good choice, however as a cynic I thought I would wait for the bill before making up my mind. Quality cups of coffee provided (more about that later) the offer of mince pies, home made cake and cookies made me think they must be hiding a deep dark secret. They were not, great service all round, no hard upsell, needed just a new tyre and after checking the tyre for myself they provided a new one at a reasonable price. A thoroughly great company out to change the negative opinion of some garages and serving Kopi Luwak coffee (google it) it really is the cats meeow!
