Absolute thieves. Bought a policy, paid it all at once, then they still docked me £40 (even though they claim the cancellation fee is only £20) and had the cheek to count the cancellation day itself in the “premium used”. Pure daylight robbery.
Customer service is a complete joke.
A friend of mine tried to claim and got screwed sideways. Rejected for made-up reasons, endless document requests they never actually look at, then total radio silence for weeks. Complete waste of time and money. They’re happy enough taking the premium, but the second you need them they vanish or invent excuses.
Avoid this rubbish company like the plague. Scammers from start to finish. 0 stars- I’d give less if I could. Go with a reputable insurer instead.

Renewed my policy for another year. Very easily done over the phone with Harlie, who was clear, friendly and understanding of my company needs.

I have been with Qdos Contractor for over a decade, although until now I have never needed to make a claim or contact them.

While renewing my policy online over the weekend, I made a mistake that I couldn't see any way to undo.

I spent the weekend worrying about how difficult it would be to resolve and whether I would be able to get a refund.

First thing on Monday morning, I spoke to Chloe, a Customer Account Manager, who immediately reassured me that it could be sorted out. She clearly explained what I needed to do, and just a couple of hours later she emailed to confirm everything had been resolved.

It is rare to experience this level of customer service. I am very happy to be a Qdos Contractor customer, and after this experience I would never consider using a different insurer.
