I have been running for over 45 years. I recently experienced the worse bout of Sciatica in my life so visited Joanne Hartshorn. Jo is a warm, friendly person with outstanding Physiotherapy experience, who always explains her treatment clearly. In this case acupuncture was recommended. After only 3 sessions the Sciatica improved and I was soon back running at my local Parkrun. Jo has always been able to diagnose and treat me successfully in the past, so I have no hesitation in recommending her services to other runners!

I really enjoyed my physio sessions with artin Afshari he always explained everything really great and always showed me how to do physio exercises. Thank you for your support

I live some distance from the clinic.
I have had 3 appointments, two of which I was unfortunately late for due to road works and road closures.
Yesterday I arrived 15 minutes late for a 30 minute appointment full of stress and apologies. I checked in and waited at least 5 minutes for my therapist to arrive saying I was too late. The patient after me told her that he didn't mind waiting but she was dismissive of him. When I tried to appologise and explain why I was late she told me off, saying that this was the 2nd time I'd been late, she asked me why I hadnt phoned ( I was driving frantically trying to find my way past the road closures but she wasn't interested) and she put me down as a 'no show'. I reminded her that I had arrived 5 minutes before she came to see me and that we could at least have had 10 minutes to discuss my progress and book another appointment but this too was dismissed. She did reluctantly book me another appointment though.
I was late for sure. I understand why I couldn't have my full appointment but her attitude was rude and unprofessional in my view. And to put the cherry on the cake, when I returned from my fruitless 2 hour journey there and back, my pain was significantly worse!! However, I had a call on my way home from a very kind, professional and polite woman who arranged for me to have another appointment with another therapist. She was a breath of fresh air!

The staff were very friendly and professional. They listened carefully to my problem and explained everything clearly. The treatment was helpful and the appointments were well organised. I had a very positive experience.

Excellent instructions for exercises at home and on site. Highly recommended.

She is amazing

Over several weeks and with grateful thanks to Vicky, an amazing physiotherapist, I have been returned from excruciating pain and despair to a pain free and active lifestyle. An SI joint was the cause of my incapacity.
The new Bawtry treatment facility is compact, adequate and has a relaxed feel to it. Car parking is easy, either on site if available or a two minute walk from car parks.
The booking systems are efficient and staff are helpful and welcoming.
Highly recommended.

A supportive and knowledgeable physiotherapist (Lizzie) who has provided consistent, expert guidance and has been instrumental in helping me rebuild strength and confidence throughout my post-accident rehabilitation. I would highly recommend.

The lady was so lovely i just felt so relaxed looking forward to my next session. Just had second appointment and the difference it made . I dont feel as tense as I did so much looser too feeling very hopeful going forward thankyou so much

I was seen today by Mrs Emy Ibrahim, she was very caring and gave me a great deal of attention

First class service. Referred by GP and hardly any wait time. Polite, personable, professional- everything was explained clearly and up front, with a treatment plan and follow up appointment sorted in the first session.

I saw a lady by the name Miss Reshma Jaya Prakash and she was brilliant throughout. She gave me a good reception, explaining in simple language with no jargon and she was an excellent professional. Since it was my first time to visit physiotherapy, i left there reassured that i was in the safe hands.

It was only my induction and it was easy to identify the professional and friendly approach for the patient I normally find it difficult to relax in an normal environment but I felt very relaxed in a comfortable environment

Very fortunate to have assessment same day. Went in with limited neck range and pain (couldn’t look forward). Came out able to look forward! Did exercises regained full range and pain free 😁 over next few days.
Great physio, knowledgeable and explains things well.

I had chronic pain in my right shoulder area that turned out to be compression on my thoracic nerves. I saw Heidi Stubbs over the course of 3 months and the work she has done and the advice and exercises she has given me have been exceptional. The difference in the pain (I have no pain currently) and the looseness in my shoulder muscles feels miraculous. I would recommend Heidi and Pure physio to anyone with pain (muscular or skeletal).

Damon took time to listen to the problems I was experiencing. He probed about my symptoms. He gave me excellent advice and exercises to try before my next appointment. I did not feel rushed but I felt that my symptoms were being taken seriously and that he would be able to help.

Alexandra was really good, made me not feel nervous, the exercises she gave me , helped me a bit, and will keep doing them.
