Changed the game for my hair

Changed the game for my hair. So many other brand are double the price and dont deliver. I use both shampoo and conditioner religiously. Highly recomended.

Hydrate shampoo and conditioner tried my hair out

After trying out my friend’s Pureology shampoo and conditioner (nano gold), I was so impressed by the results and how good my hair felt that I decided to splurge on a shampoo set myself. I am 26 and have Asian low porosity hair, that has always been silky smooth. After research, I landed on the hydrate shampoo and cond. I bought them through the website HWS beauty. I’ve been using them for 3 weeks now, and my hair has never felt so dry. I am actually shocked. I did hair masks to help this last week, but even the mask couldn’t take my hair back to how it was before I started Pureology. I sadly will not recommend this product to anyone. I am a student, and have never spent this much money on a shampoo and conditioner. It was a huge disappointment.

Website is horrible to use

Website is horrible to use. Had to try 3 different times to place order. Emailed customer service. Nothing. Finally able to place order and received wrong product. Called customer service. Agent said I had to return incorrect product at my expense and dismissed my other issues.

I fear I received a counterfeit bottle…

I fear I received a counterfeit bottle of Pureology conditioner even though Amazon said it was the real deal coming from the company. This conditioner smells nothing like the good stuff I used for years. It is not salon quality. I kept using it in hopes it would work but my hair is now straw. I have reported this fake to Amazon.

I have ordered from this company 3…

I have ordered from this company 3 times bulk. 6plus liter items each. 2 times order was shorted. Once it was right. Both times it was shorted it took over a month to get a resolution. It's been over a month on this second order and STILL haven't gotten it solved. Will not ever order again

I canceled this subscription 7 months…

I canceled this subscription 7 months ago & every 2-3 months I have to go thru the process of doing a reverse charge, and contact you. I’ve taken my card out of the system on you inept site, AND formally canceled on your inept site WITH CONFIRMATION.

If you send me another shipment and I’m charged I will go to the better business bureau and file a complaint. I will also go on every social media platform you have and do the same. Which is what I’m doing now. I will continue to do this until you and your inept staff can get a brain and stop charging my card for a product I’ve canceled in 2024.

I’ve also went onto Reddit and see that this is a common theme that you do by continuing to charge people after they cancel. I hope you enjoy all of the reviews on every platform you are about to get as I’ve tried to be nice, but this is now the THIRD time I’m having to to take time out of my day to get my money back.

I paid nearly $100 for Pureology volume…

I paid nearly $100 for Pureology volume Shampoo & Conditioner and I am so disappointed. It is just rubbish. I can't even get the comb through my hair after using it, and as far as claiming that you can get 80 shampoos out of a bottle ....absolute rubbish. I will never ever use this brand again. Give me Biolage any day

Pureology Gold made me bald!

I used Pureology Gold and have lost about 1/4 of my hair! I used as directed, and only used 3 times! My scalp began itching and burning and the skin where the shampoo contacted also is affected. My hair began to fall out in clumps, and I am now bald around the edges of my hair and many places all over my head. I had to buy a wig! I have tried customer service, sent them a photo, and they will not refund me!

Pureology customer service is pure…

Pureology customer service is pure garbage!
I cannot believe that they charge so much money for their products yet did not bother to set up a decent customer service. I emailed them twice - no response. Then I called and was offered no solution to the problem I had. Honestly, this alone is enough to make me not want to ever purchase from them again.

Online Ordering Bad Customer Service Policies.

Pureology products I like but I ordered a product online via my phone and noticed I ordered the wrong thing. I went to my computer for a better picture and Immediately tried to cancel. No cancel order option. I made a second separate order to get the thing I wanted. Sent customer services an email, as it was after business hours, requesting to cancel the order I did not want. No response in 4 days (2 were weekend days) about my request to cancel the order I did not want. However, I got two emails stating that they were behind in processing orders so I called customer services and requested they cancel the order I don't want. They said they could not cancel because they process orders immediately and therefore are unable to cancel the order but I can return the product and pay for return shipping and handling charges. I advised them they had not processed my order because I had received an apology email stating the order had not been processed. I asked for an escalation to a manager. The Manager says they can't help either stating they are unable to cancel any orders. So, I asked for another escalation above the manager to someone who can cancel orders, as it seems silly to process an order I don't want that I would then need to pay to send back. Well, they said they escalated my request. I got an email shortly thereafter stating the order I did not want was processed then another email stating they could not help me cancel my order as it was already processed. Interestingly enough the second order I made within minutes of the first order, still has not been processed, and it has been another three days. So the order I don't want is on its way and the order I do want is still not processed. Seems a little fishy to me. I will not purchase from this company again. Not locally or on the internet for their bad customer that appears to purposefully have policies that do not allow customers to cancel orders and to disincentivize returns (by charging return shipment fees).

Lousy Customer Service

First, I like Pureology's shampoo. I like it enough that since I can't buy it locally, I set up a subscription back in April through the company to have a bottle delivered every six months.

I received an email yesterday morning that my Pureology order had been completed. I panicked because I had not placed an order. I also had not received the typical email that companies always send a few days before a subscription order is about to be completed. I thought at first that my account had been hacked and then realized that no, Pureology just didn't send any notification that this order was going to go through.

I immediately contacted the company, just a few hours after they sent the email. I received an email back that it was too late to change the order (again, this was just a few hours after they sent me notification that my order away placed--those Pureology workers sure work fast, and on a Sunday, no less!). The email told me that I could mail the shampoo back--at my cost.

I called the company and was told again that it was too late to cancel and the company would not give me a pre-paid label to ship it back. Both times I reached out to Pureology, I told them that I had received no notification that this order was going through and I had no window of time to change my order. I was informed both times that no notification is standard company procedure.

All other companies that I have subscriptions with always, always send notification a few days ahead of time at least, and I always have an opportunity to cancel the order if I don't need it. What horrible and scammy company practices that Pureology does not do the same.

So I cancelled my subscription and I will never use Pureology again. There are lots of shampoos out there that are just as good and more highly recommended by my hair stylist.

I had platinum blonde highlights done…

I had platinum blonde highlights done last Friday.
Before my hairdresser dried my hair, she sprayed in Pureology Fanatic Color leave-in conditioner. When I got home my hair was yellow I called Pureology four times. Yesterday twice and some haircare specialist was supposed to call me and never did.
This company makes garbage products and kept me on the phone yesterday and today for at least forty minutes

Do not buy their products
