This company is horrible. They never answer the phone. They have been out of business since 2024 call the consumer affairs of Florida. Don’t use protect my car.

PMC is great
PMC is great! They are quick to approve repairs, within hours, not days.
The repair shop is very happy because they were paid immediately. Didn't have to wait weeks, like they do with some companies.
Overall I am very pleased and grateful to my insurance company for telling me about PMC.

My car went into the shop and after the shop called a rep was on scene the same day!! My car was repaired without incident and the shop was paid immediately.

When my starter went I called customer…
When my starter went I called customer service as instructed in the pamphlet,they were friendly, courteous and very informative,however being transferred to roadside service was difficult and after being disconnected 3 times I had to call roadside service directly. Mechanic found company very easy to work with, my claim was approved quickly,and I had my car back in good time.

Protect My Car don't cover the complete oil service maintenance cause the oil filter replacement wasn't covered anymore by Protect My Car and that doesn't have any common sense for a oil service maintenance.

So I am a new member of PMC and so far…
So I am a new member of PMC and so far I love it…I got my oil changed the first week I was able to and they covered the cost!! $125!!

I could not get ahold of protect my car…
I could not get ahold of protect my car and neither could the shop within a reasonable time frame to have protect my car approved the repairs i was forced to rent a car because my car was not able to drive and since i could not drive my only car i had to rent a car and protect my car refused to approve the rental car I was forced to rent because of the approved repairs protect my car approved that car rental a lone was cost me 810.00 because protect my car was not easy to get ahold of what good is it to have car rental on this police if your car cant move but not quality for car rental. I regret getting this policy.

I've used pmc n the past with no issues…
I've used pmc n the past with no issues but this particular time they left me hanging. They explained y but I'm not paying 4 explanations I'm paying 4 piece of mind and protection.
My differential blew on my 2017 buick lacrosse premium and they didn't cover it saying it wasn't a mechanical default.
How am I supposed to know my differential is leaking oil????
My car is well maintained and they know it because they requested my records from the dealership!
Now I'm down over $3800....I didn't drop them because this is the 1st time they let me down but I'm truly disappointed that they didn't even offer 2 help @ all smh.
A warranty is 4 when things go wrong & u guys let me down now I'm looking @ u with the side eye 😒. I recommend all my friends to this company & now I'm regretting doing so!!!

Maintenance Reimbursement
Being given the opportunity to seek reimbursement for oil changes is a phenomenal gesture. A lot of maintenance has to be done, in order for your car to run. To get a couple of those things paid for makes the payments worth it.

Reimbursement on tire rotation and oil change.
Recently got my car’s tire rotation and oil change with the reimbursement option. I wasn’t too sure how it worked but customer service told me that the digital card was my reimbursement and I could use it online within 30 days although the email says it has to be used within 7, and that it can be used multiple times until the balance is $0. That helped a lot to know that for future references.

Opportunity to save money on gift cards for the store you would shop at anyway, that comes with car protection.I pay only half price on all major repairs ( that doesn't include regular service or maintenance though).

I have never been dissatisfied with…protect my car until now.
I have never been dissatisfied with p.m.c. until now. The first customer service reprehensive was not courtesy and I was not happy with how he handled my claim. His name was joseph. It took too long for him to take my call, then he would not stay on the line long enough for the shop manager to talk to him. He said it was not his responsibility to wait for him and to have the shop call him. He hung up on me. I eventually talked to Caleb, with I was happy with. He took my call the second time I called the shop and resolved the situation very well. Basically, I was not happy with joseph, but very pleased with Caleb. The result, I was in the shop longer than I wanted to be, the claim was not taken care of in a timely matter, and it took two days to fix my car when it should have taken one day.
