My complaint is repeated on this thread--- they didnt have what I ordered in stock... no reply to emails, still waiting for refund (3 weeks on)

I'm pretty sure this company is run by a bunch of zombies or something, I made an order for some speakers I was after when I saw the price was considerably cheaper on a google shopping search. Wow, really wish I hadn't seen it. It took a whole week's wait before I e-mailed the company to see where my order stood, and to their credit they got back relatively fast, stating that "we had technical issues bllah blah blah..." Something I've already read a few times on this page and that "your order will be shipped tomorrow." Lo and behold another week's wait and another slightly angrier e-mail got me the reply, "sorry about any inconvenience caused, your item will be shipped today." and again, I waited another week. Nearly a month after I ordered my speakers I finally decided that e-mailing them was a lost cause, I thought I'd give them a call. I just got off the phone with a very helpful lady who also told me that they had not been shipped, still, and that now they were out of stock... She was kind enough to offer me a full refund and I took it.

The moral of this story is; Don't use protechshop.

As with many things in life, if it looks too good to be true, it is.

Ordered a fairly low range cheap scanner; order marked as "processed" with no further details. After a week I emailed and received no response.

Chasing down this order I was eventually told two weeks later that the product was not in stock, and there had been a system error and that I must wait 37 days from my initial order before the product would be sent out.

Poor customer service, no efforts made to recompense, no discount to give me a reason to shop with them. I note the excuse of "systems error" is a very common one given out acording to other reviews and I only wish I saved my business downtime by better researching this company before being suckered in by prices.

They took the money straight away.

After paying over the odds for postage two weeks later my item had not arrived.

I had no response from any of the emails so I rang the company.

I spoke to a very nice young lady who informed me that they were having technical difficulty and my item would be dispatched the next day. I checked the status of my item the following day still at status 'processed' so I rang again… The same excuse, I pointed this out and the item was sent after that.

Not impressed.

I ordered a set of Phillips spa 5300 speakers from pro tech shop on the 22/06/2012 after the 3-4 working days delivery mark I had still not received my speakers so I emailed them and by the looks of it from reading other reviews I was fed the b*ll story as everyone else. I got a reply saying there for a technical problem with the system and my item hadnt even been dispatched! they should of at least made me aware of this instead of telling me when I contacted them. So then I was told my item had been dispatched and that I would receive them within 24-48 hours so three working days later... still no speakers!. I paid almost £10 for delivery and I still dont have my speakers 8 working days later! (12 days overall) I will demanding a refund for my delivery cost!

Ordered some RAM on 2nd May on the 11th nothing had arrived and they stated that they had a error in their system (Familiar excuse) and that I would receive my order the following week! Its now the 22nd so its taken them 20 day to not deliver my items and they still have the cheek to charge me £7 for delivery!! I think that they are a middle man and do not hold their own stock and order it after you order it from them!!

I ordered a £200 monitor from the website showing as 10 in stock.
payment went through and order showed as completed.
after one day i called to enquire why it had not shipped, only to be told "we no longer stock that item?"
i asked for a refund and was told "i'll get that done straight away"
after a few hours i called back to again enquire why the refund had not been dealt with as promised?
i was then told it would be done by the end of the day, i explained that it was not my fault the web page had an incorrect stock level showing and that i needed the money back urgently to source stock elsewhere.
still no refund has been forthcoming??
i have again called to enquire and have been told it has been done!
it certainly has not.
my account at protechshop is still showing as the order complete...??

Website misleading. Ordered an item with a stock level of 10+ only to find the item was not actually in stock. The company still debited my card and failed to inform me of the stock situation. Was told that the item would still take a further 5 days to deliver when the item was available! I have cancelled the item and will never even think about using this site again.

I bought an item from them and it arrived promptly- no problem there. However the item developed a fault and as a result I had to send it back. It took almost 3 weeks to get a refund, the phone lines never answered and I tried emailing repeatedly. In the end I opened a Paypal dispute to get my money back, and although I did eventually get a refund, they deducted money for restocking. Having originally paid £52, I received a refund of £39- a loss of £13! I would be very wary of them- I certainly won't be using ProTechShop again.

Ordered an item for £250.00. Item not delivered. I tried to contact first by emails and then by phone - number as on invoice. The phone is out of order and no replies to emails. Try contacting them yourself before ordering.
I would advise keeping a wide berth.
