Official Warning to IVF Patients
Official Warning to IVF Patients – Experience with PRONATAL Repro Clinic (České Budějovice)
I am sharing my official, documented experience with the PRONATAL Repro clinic in České Budějovice (cycle: August 2026) to alert international couples to the severe administrative, professional, and ethical failures I encountered. Following an unsuccessful IVF cycle, I have initiated official legal and regulatory proceedings before the Czech state authorities based on the following verified facts:Concealment of Medical Complications: The official discharge summary signed by the physician MUDr. A. S. explicitly stated that the procedure was completed "without complications." However, upon formally requesting access to my full medical records through a lawyer, I was provided with the internal electronic log. In it, the physician explicitly admits that the puncture of the left ovary was aborted due to the "risk of injury to surrounding structures." This serious surgical complication and the resulting loss of half of the follicles were intentionally withheld from the official medical papers issued to me.Improper and Unsigned Documentation: The laboratory reports provided to me are entirely unauthenticated—lacking official stamps, the signatures of the physicians MUDr. E. C. and MUDr. A. S., and the mandatory signature of the responsible embryologist Mgr. N. H., which constitutes a direct violation of the Czech Act on Healthcare Services.Unregistered Private Accommodation and Tax Evasion by Employees: The clinic’s coordinator Lj. Š. and the acting manager/head nurse V. A. misused the database of foreign patients to pressure them into taking unregistered private accommodation at the address Krajinská 28. The amount of EUR 825 in cash was handed over to the coordinator directly within the premises and courtyard of the PRONATAL clinic, without any receipt being issued. Furthermore, the employees completely failed in their legal duty to register myself and my mother with the Czech Foreign Police. Other couples from the region (Zagreb and Herceg Novi) were drawn into the same scheme. Note: I explicitly distance myself from any claim that the PRONATAL clinic as an institution was involved in or had knowledge of this private business, as this is clearly a case of individual abuse of official position and resources by these two employees behind the management's back. Status of the Proceedings:On September 18, 2026, official complaints accompanied by full material evidence were successfully filed and registered under official case numbers with the following institutions in the Czech Republic:Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic (Krajský úřad - Odbor zdravotnictví)SÚKL (State Institute for Drug Control) – responsible for the urgent inspection of the IVF laboratory.ČLK (Czech Medical Chamber) – to investigate the professional ethics and conduct of the physicians.Finanční úřad (Financial Administration/Tax Office of the Czech Republic) – complaint regarding tax evasion and illegal undeclared work by the employees (submitted on 09.09. and updated with digital evidence).Central Management and Legal Department of PRONATAL in Prague – top administration.ČOI (Czech Trade Inspection Authority) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC) – for cross-border consumer rights protection, where the case has been officially opened under European case number ECCCZ-27080.I advise all couples planning a procedure at this branch to exercise maximum caution, insist on signed embryology reports in real-time, and under no circumstances accept cash-for-accommodation arrangements offered by the staff inside the hospital. I will not forfeit my rights and will pursue these institutional actions before the Czech authorities to the very end.Comments on this post are disabled, and the inbox is permanently blocked for messages from unknown accounts.
