Got there in the end
Had a few issues getting started with the exam, but support were helpful and got them fixed so I could start (albeit slightly late).
MUCH better experience than other companies offering similar services.

I was supposed to take my exam at 10 am and it’s 2 pm and they have issue with the server. When si finally got connected they said that I need an external camera if not I cannot do the exam!

Absolutely the worst service I have ever used. The system is so slow and freezes up on every computer i have used. And the customer support is completely useless and they will transfer you over and over again because none of them know what they are doing.
The proctors r worse than the testing
The proctors were incredibly rude and inpatient. They would ask me to do something get mad I wasn't going quicker.
One had so much loud noise going on their end I couldn't hear them they got short with me because I couldn't understand and I asked if they could turn off the loud beeping on their side multiple times because I couldn't focus on what what they were saying.
They had control of my computer to make sure it was good to use by turning off any possible things for cheating which is fine what wasn't fine that they made my screen go black than not working properly, refusing to tell what they did and just saying I need to call IT... I had to hard restart the computer and speak to another person.
Another told me to just say "ok" that's it
Honestly as a person w disabilities this was a horrible experience. The staff interactions are way worse than any test that needs to be done.
My partner in the next room could hear how the staff were talking to me and was shocked. One person spoke very bad English and instead of slowing down when speaking when I said I couldn't understand (because they would ask me to do something and I did it but it wasn't what they ment) they started to speak louder ...I have speakers on my computer I can adjust volume that wasn't the issue.
I try to reach out to someone from proctorU but they don't really have a way to do that so I sent off an email to them with the employee names as displayed on screen

awful customer service, so unhelpful and slow and when they finally connect or answer they are even less helpful than the automated chat bot. all they do is send links to their website or tell you to talk to another administrator (in my case ETS, but ETS would tell me to talk to ProctorU so no one was able to help in any way)
Just spent 3 hours for no tech support.
Just spent 3 hours after my scheduled exam trying to get tech support to connect me to a proctor just for the page to fail when loading, then I was told to close the browser and I would reconnect, but when I relaunched it I was met with full disconnection and no way of rejoining the exam because I joined through a link and the issue in the first place was that the "Start Exam" button never showed up in the first place. Apparently the proctors are supposed to allow the button to show up and after a reschedule an hour later it still hasn't shown the "Start Exam" button.
Any decent accredited institution that uses ProctorU is just wrong in my opinion.
Well, tried to take Chem 101 mid-term, day of exam, one proctor asked me to grant them remote access to my laptop, told them I was not comfortable with that since it was not part of the exam instructions or requirements. I then got transferred to a different proctor who then asked me to provide an external webcam, so they could see my hands at all times, not something that was put out by the institution's instructions for the exam, nor the information provided by proctoru via the Blackboard link in the course section. The proctor ended my session because I did not comply with "required" equipment. Spent the next 10 days going back and forth my instructor/school over being able to reschedule the exam since it was past the window of the exam, since it was not a fault of my doing. Finally get permission to retake almost 2 weeks later, the proctoru wants me to pay for the exam fees again, stating the reason the initial session was cancelled due to not having proper "required" equipment, which my instructor had to email ProctorU's technical division to get that sorted out, they finally agree to apply the fees I paid for the initial exam session to the reschedule. Day of reschedule, I'm logged in, open session and their browser( Guardian which you have to use Google Chrome to use) isn't working correctly, exam will not load, again, I'm asked for remote access, I deny, then I'm transferred to a technician proctor that says if I will not grant remote access, then they will not allow me to take the exam even though the issues are with their server. At this point, I've dealt with enough stress and aggravation dealing with proctoru that I'd rather fail the course and switch to a different school that does not use proctoru for it's online student exams, that's how bad my experience has been, and I was in the Army for 12 years, you learn to put up with a lot of junk, but this has been too much for me at this point.
ProctorU should not exist
I wish there were negative stars so I could rate ProctorU as deserved. This service does not work, wait times are over an hour, technical support is useless, their programs won’t stop crashing or glitching, the server connection is poor, the proctors are rude and also useless.
Scheduled my exam at 6:20
Prechecks weren’t loading. Finally loaded at 6:33. Proctor wants me to show my ID one more time, he asks me to open the rec feature for some reason. The Guardian Browser I am required to use crashes. I reopen it, go through the prechecks again. This time the server connection fails, it reloads automatically. Halfway through the prechecks a pop-up window lets me know I have multiple session open. I only have one session open since the previous ones crashed. I click on the ‘I have closed all opened session’ button. Nothing happens, the browser crashes. I contact technical support. The support chat window randomly disconnects after taking 15 minutes to connect me to an agent. I contact live support. Their AI runs circles around me for a minute. I figure out how to connect to an agent. The agent says everything is solved on their end after explaining my problem, asks me to just relaunch. I do so, nothing is solved, the cycle repeats. I’m already over an hour into this, I have completed my prechecks maybe 11 times. The server loses connection again. I give up. This has happened to me many times before, I am done with ProctorU and Mazure Learning and their Guardian Browser.

Exam time lost due to proctorscammu
I lost half an hour of exam time due to loss of connection. the chat thing went into a trying-to respond-loop. After about 10 minutes I realised I'd lost connection and tried reconnecting to the internet, but it strangely wouldn't work until i completely shut down my uni site and proctuscammu. Then amazingly I was able to connect to the internet. I went through the whole ID and room scan check then password entry by an indian (scammer) who can't speak english, only to realise I lost that 30 minutes and the exam start page said I'd already submitted.
I've already had my computer hacked by who I believe was procterscamu as I received an email at the time of my first exam telling me they knew my internet banking password. How is this even possible?
I'm convinced procterscammu is an indian scam centre and University of New England Australia is dodgey to allow it.
Nightmare
Nightmare. They left me sitting in a chat window for an hour. Re started my exam 3 times. What a joke

Horrible doesn’t even begin to describe this company, software and customer service which is non existent. I am still waiting for almost 3 hours to get a proctor on a scheduled exam. This is crazy and unprofessional.
ProctorU is an invasion of privacy
ProctorU is an invasion of privacy. Firstly, you must be running Windows or Mac OSX to use ProctorU- Linux/Unix support will probably never happen due to the level of system invasion needed to "proctor." You may experience extended wait times after reserving an appointment; deletion or manipulation of your files; or even a completely absent proctor who cannot even notice that you are trying to get their attention through waving and loud noises- doesn't seem like ProctorU is actually in the business of proctoring.
Any accredited institution that forces students to use this service should lose their accreditation. There is no reason such a company as ridiculous and evil as ProctorU should exist.
There was a lot of issues with…
There was a lot of issues with connection. They kept blaming my internet but the modem was fine and giving good bandwidth on Chrome. The issue is their software. a four hour exam took over 6 hours. I also think their operating policy of taking control of your PC or you cant do the exam is an infringement of GDPR rules and Privacy. Americans might be fine with this but its not acceptable for this practice in the EU. this should be carried out in either teams or Webex trusted secure systems. My laptop kept identifying security risks as well. I will never use them again for all of the above reasons.
Unfair practices
I logged in to take my test 10 minutes early. According to their video instructions, there should have been a "start session" button so that I could start the exam. There was no button. I contacted the help desk and was put into a queue to wait for a proctor 2 times for a total of 2 hours. I didn't get to take the exam and I was asked to reschedule and to use another computer.
I rescheduled my exam date, and they wanted to charge me full price again, even though their agent said I could call back to reschedule with no issue. Since my technical circumstances have not changed, I requested a refund so that I can schedule a better time to complete this exam. Although I am within the parameters of their refund policy, I am denied a refund and the reason given was that I did not show up for my first schedule appointment. Their records would clearly indicate that this is not true.
My entire experience with this company has been stressful and unfair from a student's perspective. Schools and other organizations should reconsider using ProctorU for online exams.
Meazure Learning/Proctoru lost exam!!
Proctoru (now called Meazure Learning Support) lost my scores and said I have no account!! Although they confirmed I have a username and login. They refuse to take any responsibility for their actions, apologize or give me my money back. I studied long and hard for this test, cleared out my whole office (they checked my ears, my glasses under the table, closets, doors, etc. for the set up). When I took the test I completed the whole test up to number 119 out of 120 and got kicked out of the system. I was unable to get back into their system and it happened again to question number 120 out of 120 (both times when I clicked the Next” button for the answer. I logged back in and was able to review my questions and submitted it. I then asked the proctor - when I didn’t see a score on the screen - when will I get my scores and when she said she did not know. I asked or shouldn’t the scores be listed on the screen and she didn’t seem very confident and said I’d get them later. I had a really bad feeling.
Also, I gave them a ticket number, and no one seems to answer how could I have a ticket number if they say I never took the test. Ticket #2799073
In any event, you cannot talk to anybody on the phone or if you do you get somebody from India who can’t give you any help or allow you to talk to a supervisor. They only respond by email so you have to wait each time. And then they take no responsibility for losing the test. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT take a home test. It is not worth the headache and the stress. Talk about reliability, validity and responsibility, thus company demonstrates none of it.
I supposed to take the TOEFL ibt Home…
I supposed to take the TOEFL ibt Home Edition today at 8:00 am, unfortunately Proctor U did not let me take the test. It was a Filipina woman who approached me first as a proctor. She told me that my video will not work when in fact it was working. She passed me on to different technician. I waited for more than 1 hour for them to fix the issue that they tried to present. They advised me to reschedule my test and I know it would be another payment. I do not believe on the credibility of Proctor U anymore. I do not understand why despite the complaints that could be read from the internet regarding Proctor U, ets still trusts them.

This company has been horrible.( ETS PROCTOR U) I am behind in starting my student teaching because of them. The first test attempt The proctors computer shut down and kicked me out of my test I was unable to finish an essay and did not pass test by 2 points due to not finishing the essay yet i scored really well on the first part of the test the multiple choice. I was so upset over this and they would not pay for me to retake because they had scored it and i couldnt retake for 30 days plus. This gave me almost like ptsd so i did not try taking another test for almost three months i studied really hard and 2 days ago finally bit the bullet to give math a try well it did not work out in my favor after checking all my set ups and testing internet pretests everything was perfect but on there end there was an issue when i asked what i needed to do to correct the problem they ignored me and would not answer me i went through the phone and 3 proctors when finally 4 hours later i was fed up and shut the computer down and cried lol. This company needs to let me retake the essay and not the multiple choice as well as pay for it for my time getting a sitter and now not being able to student teach because of a deadline that I had plenty of time to meet otherwise. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!! I am contacting the attorney generals office as well
Good service, as expected
I used this to complete my Agile Business Consortium Scrum Product Owner exam sponsored by APMG International. It was what I expected from a proctored exam. I got given rules from APMG (clear desk, walls etc), and it took 5 minutes for my proctor to confirm me. He asked me to show the four walls of the room, and under my desk.
My proctor was polite and effective, he didn't tell me what he was doing on my computer when he remoted which would have been better but I completely understand why they had to do it. For information, he checked my Display settings I assume to see if I had a second monitor and closed my several apps from my system tray.
My only technical gripe is that my MacBook Pro failed the test as it showed not enough memory, but I highly doubt that's accurate.
I ran a deep antivirus before and after downloading the software and found no malware or viruses. If you had to use this for a course, I would recommend logging out of anything sensitive (emails, password managers), possibly creating a new user. Download the extension and the extra .exe they get you to download and delete immediately after the test.
If your learning establishment hasn't given you clear instructions on how to use this, search 'Student Experience: Colleges and Universities' on youtube by ProctorU and it should prepare you.
Terminated Test
I completed the first half of the LSAT on Saturday Feb 11. During the 10 minute intermission, my proctor Jocel Arino M said there was an issue occurring with my video and requested to transfer me to a tech. This had happened prior to beginning the test as well and I received the same stock response asking to transfer me to a tech. I clarified and specifically asked if doing so would interrupt my session. Jocel responded "no because you are still in the intermission."
The process of transferring my case from my proctor to a tech, Jushwa T, took 5 minutes. By the time a tech had actually connected, my time for intermission had already elapsed. The tech, however, still took remote control of my device.
After several more minutes, Jushwa T informed me that my test had been terminated for failing to return on time. I reiterated to him that I had specifically asked my proctor if undergoing the transfer to the tech would interfere with my test and I was told it would NOT. I expressed my concern and the tech said he would file a ticket. Ultimately, he said the test could not be reopened and to request a new appointment. He then promptly disconnected.
I was at my computer awaiting the go ahead to return to my test for at least 6 minutes of the 10 minute intermission and was corresponding with either a proctor or tech for several of those minutes. My proctor failed to inform me of the risk for termination and transferred my case knowing that was a possibility. I was not instructed to do anything prior to the transfer to ensure my test was not terminated. The LSAC will not reimbursee or allow me to make the test up because ProctorU deemed this a "termination with no options." This was a complete and total waste of several hundred dollars, months of prep, and most of a day.
