Privacy has been a great way for me to control and mitigate the risk of online banking. Sure, I have to trust them with my card info, but it's either trust 1 person (Privacy) and use their virtual cards, or trust everyone. Not only does it help protect for card info being stolen (because if it's stolen, it's worthless to anyone but the vendor I was purchasing from), but it's also a good way to help manage subscriptions that make it difficult to unsubscribe. Origin refused to let me unsubscribe for years because of a "site error" but they would happily let me update my payment method. With privacy, I can simply turn the funding off and then they'll unsubscribe for me! It's comically easy compared to the hoops they like to make you jump through. Everything I buy goes through here.

Such a great and easy way to keep my account safe. Easy to setup and easy to use. It’s a no brainer.

Safety and control. Setting the limits stopped unexpected charges from a media site I supported in the past. They attempted to charge me, at least, three times for the same service later on. I love the idea of assigning different cards to whatever I'm paying for. No need to deal with the bank. If you use your bank card to make all the payments and something happens, such as expired card, I'd need to contact everyone who uses that card for auto payments and give them the new info. With Privacy I call the one place to give the new info. I can see who the payment went to without trying to decipher a name the credit card company gives them. To gain more services, like some social media sites, they require payment. Privacy will accept different names that don't require complete information to make the payment. Signing up was easy enough. Changing the bank account to a temp password, signing up then giving it another pass wasn't a big deal. I have the option to make a card for a one time payment then delete the card when I'm done. Privacy is quick to reply to questions which is a big plus for me. I haven't had one problem since signing up with Privacy. A piece of mind my bank account is under my control is huge.

Best thing since sliced bread!!!! I use this for almost everything, from utilities to online orders. So important to protect out financial data, and this has to be one of the best ways Ive found!

The app is easy to use and secure payment processing. I really like that you can set limits per transaction. I also enjoy how you can customize the cards to the store you are using it for. They even have pre loaded ones for target which is awesome.

I love using Privacy.com for my online purchases. It gives me peace of mind knowing if anything ever happened to my account with the merchants, my banking information remains secure.

I have used the "one time pay" cards multiple times for sites I rarely visit, and once the payment is complete, the card is immediately closed.

For merchants I frequent, a card is created for that merchant only. I had a situation where this was tested with Marriott hotels. When I tried using it for Fairfield in, the payment was immediately declined because it didn't come through as Marriott when making the purchase.

I’ve been using Privacy and really like it. What I appreciate most is the ability to create a card with the exact amount needed for monthly recurring expenses. In my experience, some companies gradually take more than they should, often in a way that makes it difficult to catch in time and stop the payment through the bank.

With Privacy, that’s no longer a concern. I can easily stop or cancel a card at any time, giving me complete control over my spending. The ability to set a fixed amount for each virtual card ensures that no extra charges go through, preventing unauthorized or unexpected payments. It’s a simple and effective way to protect my finances. Highly recommend!

Virtual credit card numbers are AWESOME. Back when Citibank support virtual credit card numbers, I used the feature all the time to prevent auto-renewals from catching me off-guard. For years after they discontinued support for them I got caught will a monthly renewal here and there. So glad that privacy.com has filled in this much-needed service!

I've never had an issue with any of the virtual cards. The service is easy to use, and works seamlessly with any online retailer. On one occasion, I had a retailer who issued a refund for a card that I had already closed. I was worried about receiving the funds back to my bank account, but I didn't have to do a thing. The funds were sent back to privacy.com and they transferred them back to my account. I'm very happy with the service.

Privacy.com is an invaluable service to me. The peace of mind of having a proxy card # to give to a dozen companies has been game changing for the past two years. I can set a charge limit from Privacy.com to avoid arbitrary charges, a subscription service can't rely on me forgetting to cancel before the end of that free trial, and I don't have to be concerned about a security leak of my info from the many sites that I send money to. It just makes sense to use this!

Great financial privacy app. I use it for all of my subscriptions and for one-time credit card purchases. The fact that this is all free is unbelievable!

Great until they pause your account. Then it is extremely inconvenient. Looking for a better app than this.

If you make a lot of online financial transactions or are simply concerned about exposing your financial accounts to bad actors you need to get this app. Create a merchant specific charge card that cannot be used anywhere but through that merchant or a one-time use card. You can set different parameters for the amounts for the transactions and you can also toggle the card off to pause it or even delete it if you wish. With so many data breaches in the news it's great to have this to help eliminate or minimize your exposure to the bad actors. Real happy with the service.

I love that Google play can't just take my money whenever they please. There are a few others too. Like the ones who give a 30 try before you buy. Then I discover there's no way to cancel. This puts a stop to all that.
