I had been looking for spacers for some time but they were quite expensive and I wasn't sure that the cost justified the slight improved look then I stumbled upon Precision Hub centric wheel spacers at a fraction of the cost of others.

Some quick online research and product reviews made me think that, for the money, they were worth a try. Additionally, the company was local to me in Ayrshire Scotland so I thought it was also good to support local businesses.

I emailed the company seeking advice about which spacers might be best for my car and they responded very quickly recommending 12mm front and 15mm rear spacers for my BMW 5 series M Sport. I opted for the black spacers with black studs and took the lock studs as an extra. The spacer kit already comes with extended bolts.

Within 3 days the package arrived from Precision, they were very well wrapped and protected against rubbing each other and the studs were in separate boxes so they could not damage the spacers. A close examination of the spacers showed fantastic quality machine work with no visible lines or track. The edges were all chamfered and every surface was very well finished with no high spots or rough edges and they were stamped with the company logo which looked really good.

To test how "true" they were I sat each spacer one on top of the other and attempted to slide a sheet of normal paper between the spacers but they sat perfectly flat and I even spun them round to try different edges but they were tight. Even with them all stacked they sat "wobble" free.

I decided to fit the 12mm front spacers first and, after removing the wheel, I gave the hub a quick clean but found it difficult to get the centre ring of the spacer to sit properly and the spacer to sit evenly. I knew from my "paper" test that the spacers were completely flat so it had to be my hub so, I then wire brushed the centre section and made sure that all mating surfaces were completely clean and the spacer pressed on perfectly. The problem was that because the spacers are engineered perfectly, there is very little tolerance between the spacer and hub so you must take time to clean the hub fully. DO NOT FIT THE SPACER AND ATTEMPT TO DRAW IT ONTO THE HUB BY TIGHTENING THE WHEELS BECAUSE YOU COULD DAMAGE THE SPACERS.

Not expecting the difference to be that noticeable, I was amazed when I put the wheel on and lowered the car to the ground that the difference between the wheel without the spacer and wheel with the spacer was incredible. The wheel filled the arch and looked fantastic and much more aggressive without looking like a monster truck.

I repeated the process another three times and stood back to asses the finished item. It looked amazing and the 15mm rear spacers complimented the 12mm fronts perfectly balancing the car out and giving it a "planted" look. I took the car for a decent run and negotiated a few mini roundabouts and three point turns and experienced no rubbing issues. I asked a couple of mates to sit in the back and repeated the journey again, with no issues to Precisions sizing advice was spot on.

In summary, if you are thinking of a set of spacers then grab the bargain that is Precision Hub centric wheel spacers. They are manufactured to an extremely high standard, very well finished and packaged to arrive undamaged or scratched. Just take your time fitting and make sure to thoroughly clean the hubs making sure there is no build up of brake dust or salty grime because these are so well engineered that a thin film of grime will prevent a perfect fit.

I brought spacers from here they turned blue after a week. They tried blaming it on cleaning products when firstly they shouldnt change colour after wash and secondly car was not washed. Now they refusing to help and ignoring me.

I recently bought a set of 4 wheel spacers for my car from Precision and they were less than half the price of the nearest lowest price.
They arrived 2 days later with all items well protected and packaged and the stud sets independently packed so they could not mark the spacers.
Now, I had researched spacer design and fitment for a few weeks which is just what I do before making a purchase but I did not expect such excellent quality at that price point.
I ordered hub centric black spacers and studs and the finish on the spacers was superb. High gloss finish with no machine marks or rough spots or indents. They looked as good, if not better, than spacers Id been looking at for over twice the price.
I "paper" tested each individually by sitting them on my perfectly flat kitchen worktop to see if I could slide a sheet of A4 paper between them and the worktop and they were tight all round. I also tested them sitting in a pile, one on top of the other, and I could not find a single spot that the paper was able to slide into so they are machined perfectly flat and true.
I called them to ask a question about fitment and spoke to two members of staff and both were extremely polite and very knowledgeable and helpful so they have excellent customer service and were very easy to contact with phones manned by actual humans.
If your on the search for wheel spacers please don't be put off by the low price and assume they are of inferior quality because they most definitely are not.
I cannot recommend them highly enough just call their friendly team and they will talk you through your options based on their vast experience.
