It is a course that teaches you real-life sentences and helps you speak Portuguese with ease. It provides the short, necessary grammar to understand how these sentences work. Its listening components enhance comprehension of normally paced native speech. The personalised flashcards make you memorise a lot of words related to different topics, and the particular, short lessons.
As you hear the words as well, you can learn the correct pronunciation.
I have been taking lessons with Inês for a while and have recently passed my CIPLE exam well. The style of teaching is perfect for everyday situations and not heavy on grammar. The Portuguese Puzzle has everything you need to prepare you for the exam and remind you of what you have learnt. I would and have thoroughly recommended Portuguish.
I have been learning Portuguese with Inês for more than three years. Her online lessons enabled me to pass my A2 exam but I have continued to stay with her as I try to reach the next level. She produces some very useful material that help you master the art of listening as well as helping you to remember an increasing amount of vocabulary. I thoroughly recommend her whether you are a beginner or intermediate level student.
I really like the two student approach, as our instructor is focussed on us. Our instructor, Pedro, is patient and at no time interrupts you with a correction. He goes through what we present, then corrects and explains.
It's a very practical course and I feel very comfortable with the programme.

I have been following private lessons for three months now and I have learned a lot. I have a private teacher and she adapt to my level. It is a very good and fun way to learn a new language. The use of brain scape makes daily exercise very easy and doesn't take much time.

The Portugese puzzle is a great way to practice comprehension of spoken Portugese and pronunciation of words. I enjoy the lessons and feel they are making the difference I need now in my learning journey which is more about understanding when someone talks to me in Portugese. I think Portuguish has a simple, fast, and well-structured way of teaching Portuguese, without making the lessons tiring. It offers several useful tools, like the Portuguish Puzzle, which provide extra support for learning through games, flashcards, and other clever activities that make the journey of learning Portuguese much more fun and effective.
I started with Portuguish about 2 years ago and loved it. Then my Portuguese In-laws said I needed to learn grammar. I was so confused so I came back to Portuguish and will never leave again. Also, I asked my teacher, Inês Nunes, to help me with the vowel sounds and she takes the time to leave a detailed voice message to help me. I highly recommend this course because putting the puzzle pieces together is much easier this way and you will start speaking so much faster!!
