Ordered 2 lamp bases and lampshades which arrived very quickly. They look exactly as described and I am delighted with them. Would definitely use this company again.

I have had my eye on the Pooky cordless lamps with the rechargeable cell for a while, so, when I saw one I liked in the sale, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Initially I bought it to put on a bedside table in a guest bedroom that doesn’t have a nearby socket but when it arrived I decided to try it in my living room to add a bit of light and character on a side table. As you’d expect the rechargeable bulb is nowhere near as bright as a traditional lamp but it will be good enough in the bedroom for guests who need a light they can switch on and off from the bed. In the meantime it looks good and adds ambience to my living room. It is good quality and easy to charge. I chose a light coloured lampshade to let maximum light through.

Very disappointed with Pooky’s customer service.
I bought the Phileas rechargeable lamp just over two years ago and it has completely stopped charging and no longer works. When I contacted Pooky, I was only offered 20% off to buy another one.
To make matters worse, the lamp isn’t currently in stock because it’s being redesigned, specifically due to the charging port. This strongly suggests a known design flaw rather than normal wear and tear.
For a premium-priced product, this response feels inadequate. I expected far better support and a more reasonable resolution.

Update: Thank you for acknowledging my disappointment without actually resolving it. A redesign benefits future customers, not those of us left with a failed product after just two years. A token discount on a replacement isn’t accountability, it’s deflection. I hope others read this and think carefully about how this company treats customers when something goes wrong.

I have bought many lights from Pooky and they have always arrived swiftly and in tip-top condition. They are great designs - aesthetic, functional, and of good quality. I always come to Pooky for something a little bit different. Plus the reward points mean you can make some great savings!

I have so many pooky lights in my house. I choose the rechargeable lamps as I have so many areas I want to light up and enjoy and very few plugs’
I love the choice of beautiful lampshades I change the shades with the season, There is no end to the possibilities, Great customer service? Speedy delivery. What’s there not to like

You cannot fault the lamps & shades or customer services from Pooky…very well priced! There is only one bad point…it is an extremely irritating & unnecessary…are their returns. It’s very easy to return something but it takes forever for your money to be refunded to your bank account…it can take weeks which is ridiculous! One can only think they are overwhelmed by returns otherwise why, after 8 days of receiving the package, has my money not been refunded?

It came well packaged the instructions were easy to follow. Lovely added extra was a case to put the remote control in.

I love pooky! Wonderful choice of styles and lights and the customer service is great. They've got in touch to advise us about shipping and customs charges as we're outside of the UK and to check if we still wish to go ahead, etc. Our latest pooky is a rechargeable wall light. Super stylish and with a good battery length.

What a stupid design

Just bought some chargeable lights, what a pain.
OMG, it really is the butt of jokes at home by guests that visit the cafe. Pooky, come on?

Have you ever felt underneath the bulb and install turned the light on!

Well packed which was a good job as DPD had managed to virtually destroy the outer box.

Pooky are so easy to deal with. Easy ordering process. Lamp was delivered swiftly and carefully. I can’t wait for my husband to open it on his birthday on the 10th Feb. Will review again once we’ve been able to install it!
