They do NOT accept any Canadian payment methods, I am surprised this bullshit site even bothers operating. It looks like their API blocks any payment methods including Apple pay, Paypal and credit cards from Canada. There is no workaround.
Customer service and site service is horrible
Customer service is horrible, their website has so many issues. Tried getting product from the pre order, had to go through queue 3 times separately, had the items in my cart 3 separate times, failed to finish the order three times, I tried using multiple cards, clearing cache, signed into an account, tried different browsers, confirmed email address, my billing address, and everything. Nothing helped, waited a total of 3-4 hours to get nothing. They need to fix their service/site. 10/10 gave up on this horrible site. Customer service doesn't help, our listen. IF you can even get ahold of them, they just repeat the same thing over and over, or just end the chat themselves. What happened to quality and care? Not pokemon.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Returned a card nearly 12 months ago after a tedious proof of purchase routine and I have not had an update since. They are now ignoring follow up emails.
The website is trash
The website is trash. I’ve tried to place an order 15 times. It always says where’s something wrong. Looked at their help thing and it said that’s common. To try a different computer. So I did. To try a different card, so I did. To make sure my shipping and billing addresses were perfect. I did. It took an authorization for the payment 15 times lol. So there’s nothing wrong with my card. The charges will just fall off later.
So I tried contacting them via chat. Went from 15th in line to 7th over an hour, then to 17th somehow

OH OKAY I GUESS ILL JUST GO STRAIGHT TO THE BACK OF THE QUEUE THAT IVE JUST BEEN SAT IN FOR AN HOUR ALREADY. Truly awful website that prevents the real customers who want to purchase something.
But instead they spend too much time trying to prevent bots, it's damaging to real customers.
I think it's time the Pokemon Centre came up with a better way of distributing stock to customers.
tldr, don't bother trying to order from the website, it's literally impossible.
OH! And dont even THINK to contact customer support to help. You'll be met with a stubborn bot, then if yoiu do manage to get through to someone, it's nothing but copy and paste replies "Sorry I've exhausted all options to help you, goodbye"

We placed an order on October 30th for…
We placed an order on October 30th for our daughter as a Christmas gift. The website stated we would receive it within two weeks. That never happened.
When we didn’t receive any updates, I emailed because there is no phone number or live chat available. Three days later, they asked for more information. I provided the order number and tracking number the same day. I was told the issue was “escalated” and that no further action was required on my end.
After hearing nothing, I followed up on November 21st. Three days later, I received another apology but still no real update on where our item was or when we might receive it. I emailed again on December 1st explaining that this had already gone on for over a month without answers. Again, I was told it was escalated.
We finally received a response from Agent Sam three days ago — a total of three months and two weeks after the original order date. The response simply stated they were experiencing high volume, noted that we had disputed the charge, and said since the bank refunded us, they were closing the inquiry.
Of course we disputed the charge. After three and a half months of delays, generic apologies, and no actual resolution, we had no other choice. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift that their website said would arrive in two weeks.
The refund resolves the financial part, but the lack of communication and accountability was extremely frustrating. Repeated apologies without action is not customer service.
We will not be doing business with this company again.
Impossible to buy from
Impossible to buy from. They have a broken queueing system, and when you ask for help to figure out why you can't use their site they say:
"Tickets are answered in the order they are received and opening additional tickets regarding the same subject will not expedite a response and may affect your ability to receive assistance in the future."
Essentially: "don't ask us about our broken system again, or we'll just block you"
They are only bothered with profit and not their customers
This is probably a waste of time because I don't think anything will come out of it. I am sure no one from pokemon company bothers reading the reviews against them.
As some of the comments mention, pokemon and Nintendo only cares for profit these days. They have definitely forgotten what made them special.
I made a request with their support team a month ago and till date there has been no reply and neither do I know what the status is because no one takes ownership on their side.
They expect their customers to continuously follow up and even then all you get is a generic message saying they can't tell how long it will take. So basically they will do it at their pace and you the paying customer have to shut up and wait and follow their timing.
I guess being popular too long has gotten to their head while forgetting that the quality of games they had released in past years were trash and most of their profits come from nostalgia. I can promise that would not hold up that much longer because there are so many other games that you would rather be playing and paying for.(At least don't have to worry about the game being half baked).

Scams and over-charges on shipping + inflated GST.
This company scams you on shipping and fake GST. They charged >A$337 just for shipping and handling and they also charged 60% GST. There is zero capacity to reverse a transaction. They claim that orders are fulfilled immediately and can't reverse them, also not true because we got a message 2 days later saying the package was ready for shipping. We inadvertently paid >$445.82 for a single item that costs A$67 because they inflated both GST and inflated shipping exponentially. A total scam!!
If they cared
If they cared, they would know their customer. Waited in "Virtual Queue" to see all sold out. Who do you cater to because families would like a reliable source to get cards, but this site is for robots.
This company is a joke
This company is a joke. Placed an order immediately once an item was released, I paid, it was confirmed with a delivery estimate. Nothing came, so I messaged them only for them to take ages to get back to me to see what has gone wrong and it was confirmed by them it was on their end. So they just cancelled the order. Contacted customer service and they just gave a generic response without even trying to rectify their mistake. Absolute shambles.
Terrible customer service
There is nothing wrong with the quality of the merchandise they sell (even if it is on the pricier side), where they fall short is in the policies and customer service. If you like me hit submit and don't realize the wrong address autofilled, well you're out of luck. Their policy is to do nothing to help you. No cancellation, no address change. You have to wait for the order to arrive and then return it. Which is a major problem when it's going to the wrong address and their tracking link doesn't work.
They respond slowly and do not seem to understand the concept of "wrong address" (I was told at least 3 times to check with neighbours to a location halfway across the city), overall terrible communication.
Essentially after over a week of trying to fix the issue only to find out it was successfully delivered to the wrong place and oh well! Your ticket is closed and all further inquiries about it will also be closed. Toodles!
Plus you can't leave a review on their products on your own, reviews are only possible if you're invited to do so, and that seems to be a broken link too.
What's worse is apparently this is not an isolated incidence, after a bit of digging it appears they've had terrible service for YEARS. So go ahead, buy from them, but be VERY careful because once you hit submit you're not getting that money back.
Missing items and Garbage AI Support

Edit: im more disgusted now, they make product scarce then mix an etb with the worst product possible so they can sell off their garbage merch, the double the size of a plush to make the promo cards much harder to buy and ensure they make all of the money. Everyone stop buying anythjng other than drops pokemon center.com is absolute shite. These are by far the worst of the worst. Ive quit playing pokemon and collecting, and i ask that all of you join me. Do not by from these vultures or the scalper pieces of crap. Let them lose money, the pokemon games are absolute dog crap as of the last few years and the cards have been trash for years now, i hopebi inspire you to join me, lets move on to a much better game.

Wait time is horrible and you can't even refresh the page or else you get blocked from their server thinking you're a "bot" it's ridiculous.
Time to move on
I have waited in the virtual que several times for very long wait periods and when it comes my turn there is always some sort of error. Whether it glitches out and puts be to the back of the line or the product that is launched doesn't even show up on the website as available and later find out people had to do some sort of trick in order to get their order or pre order in.
Today this happened to me again. I logged on pretty much as soon as the drop landed waited in line making sure sure my screen didn't time out or anything so that it didn't restart my position like it always does. I finally get in and click the preorder button of the product I wanted "Ascending hero's pokemon center ETB" and put 1 in my cart and go to check out and low and behold it gets stuck in a loop and puts me back to the beginning of the qeu. Anytime I have ever even tried to contact their "customer service" it's horrible or simply don't even get a reply. I have enjoyed the hobby for years and spent a boat load of money on their products over the years and got my kids into them as well, but this kind of BS where only resellers and scalpers are able to get product with their fancy tools and then even when waiting and doing what you're told getting put at the back of the line time after time after time. I have had enough. They don't seem to care about us as customers so I think I will join the large group of people who were once huge fans and have since aborted and went onto other TCGS.
This isn't worth the time for something that is supposed to be a hobby and enjoyable. Their poor management of the website and customer service has pushed so many of the real loyal customer base away once this hype train ends all of the real ones will have moved on.
Incredibly Poor Customer Service
I preordered Pokemon Z-A for the Switch 1 and they sent me the Switch 2 version on 10/17. I contacted customer service on 10/21 and they asked for the basic information (photos, purchase information, etc.). I provided what they requested, but I have not received a response about any sort of update whether they're going to refund me or send me the correct Switch 1 copy. They were the ones who messed up by sending me the incorrect product, but yet their customer service is abysmally slow with no updates/follow-ups. It's been close to a month now (and counting) with still no response even after I resent my information and explained my situation. Do not buy from them, it's not worth the hassle if they mess up because if they mess up, you pay for it.
