Really excellent experience with PlumbGas. Their team on the phones are always prompt, helpful and put things in plain language. We had a new shower fitted and experienced some issues with our flow rate. Chris attended to diagnose the issue, and it turned out this was a wider issue in our property and not the fault of the fitting at all. Despite this, Chris went above and beyond to try to help us, give advice and leave us in the best possible situation going forwards. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PlumbGas services.

Plumbgas fitted our Hive system which was done very efficiently by Chris. It was done professionally and with care. He explained the system clearly and made sure we understood the processes.

Stewart, the engineer was punctual, efficient and clean and gave my boiler a thorough overhaul. Plumbgas, as ever, were most professional and sensibly priced.

Chris arrived on time and carried out a triple appliance service. He was friendly and worked in a clean and tidy manner. He explained that a couple of things on the boiler needed checking under the warranty and what possible issues to keep an eye on. I am pleased that a thorough service was carried out on all appliances.

We had our heat pump installed by PlumbGas in October 2024, and the experience from start to finish was excellent.

A particular mention goes to business owner Jon, who carried out the initial survey and heat loss calculations. He took the time to properly assess the property, ensuring the radiators were correctly sized and the system was designed appropriately for the house. It was clear from the outset that the focus was on getting the installation right rather than simply selling a heat pump. That attention to detail has paid off, as the system has performed flawlessly and kept the house comfortable ever since.

We did experience an issue with the diverter valve after installation. PlumbGas responded quickly and replaced it free of charge. When the problem reoccurred, they returned promptly and replaced it again, this time with a different make, and we've had no issues since. While problems can occasionally happen with any installation, what matters is how a company responds, and PlumbGas couldn't have been more helpful throughout.

What really stood out was their commitment to customer service. They also corrected a couple of other issues I had noticed long after the installation, again at no additional cost. There was no hesitation or attempt to avoid responsibility. It's clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about the quality of the service they provide.

A special mention also goes to Ryan, who carried out the follow-up visits. He was always respectful, courteous, and professional. Across the additional visits after the installation, he took the time to discuss things properly, answer questions, and ensure everything was working as it should. He gave the impression of someone who genuinely cared about doing the job properly rather than simply getting it done and moving on.

The original installation price was competitive, and the aftercare has been excellent. Based on our experience, I would happily recommend PlumbGas to anyone considering a heat pump installation or any other work for that matter.

I was informed of the engineers name and time of arrival before he came which I found was reassuring as I live on my own . When he arrived i could tell by his competent manner that my boiler service was in good hands .

The engineer arrived on time and started work immediately. Although the job proved difficult he persevered and removed and replaced a faulty pump within the time estimated.

2 very polite engineers (George & Matthew) arrived on time to service my boiler with shoe covers in hand. Wiped their feet and put their shoe covers on.
When they finished servicing my boiler, they announced all the things that they had checked and provided the outcome.
I was very pleased with their explanations and will continue to use plumbgas going forward.

Plumbgas gave a reasonable quote for the work required and were able to offer a convenient appointment for it to be carried out. Name of engineer was also confirmed. Lewis kept us informed of his anticipated arrival and was on time. He was friendly and polite. Replaced a leaking radiator after draining the system and fitting new TRV along with some piping. System refilled and inhibitor included. He ensured all radiators were working before he left. Area was left clean and tidy. A very reliable company all round.
