Poor service, I should have read the previous reviews before i ordered!

Instead I placed an order well before Christmas so that I could do some work over the holidays when not at work. The delivery never turned up despite three dates being given. Chased-up many times and on the few times I did manage to get through I was fobbed off with false promises. Now having to fight to get my money back :(

I ordered my drainage items from this company before seeing the reviews and was then worried to see the average rating when I went back into the website to potentially add to the order.

Having ordered on Friday, the products were delivered today (Tuesday) and really happy with them and the price I paid.

A couple of things could really improve the service if my experience wasn’t a one off namely an immediate confirmation email of the order and an indication of when the items would be delivered. Mind you, I emailed the generic email address last thing at night with the above questions and had a response first thing in the morning from Lauren with my invoice and telling me delivery would be today.

Speak as you find..... no issues and would use again

Used to use them all the time and they were great, but I have a feeling they are running on a shoestring and on the brink of ceasing to operate, Order took 2 weeks to process and 23 out of 5 items were wrong, cant get them on the phone and they don't respond to email

Had three orders from them now very good prices and good service .one order had a damadged item ,sent a pic by e-mail no prob replacement sent (slight hiccup they sent 300dia instead of 450 again simple phone call new one sent and told keep the other one as a freebie!!!) last order there computer system went a bit screwy and i ended up with the order duplicated ,agai ph0ne call collection aranged refund given.so i certainly have no complaints

Read negative reviews after ordering so was concerned. However, my order arrived 2 days after ordering, nothing was missing, and it was all good quality. I did ring them once on Weds after reading the bad reviews, and they answered in about 30 secs at the first attempt. I gave my order number they checked, and said it was being picked, and I should receive it by Fri. I also ask for an e-invoice which they sent me on Weds. I got the impression they were very busy, and inevitably there will be issues with a few orders who are more likely to leave reviews than satisfied customers. In my case I was very happy with the price, quality, and service.

In spite of the order being processed over a week ago, still no delivery. Nobody picks up their phone. Not happy.

I have dealt with plastics express recently so I can honestly say that the negative reviews are correct. I ordered goods on line and thought that payment had not gone thank through so I contacted them to be told that the payment had not been processed only to find later that it had appeared on my barclaycard account. I did not receive any goods so I asked for a refund I’m still waiting after nearly a month now instructed barclaycard to deal with it as the staff fobbed me off and claimed that they do not have a complaints procedure the limited co have 2 directors who obviously don’t really care. I have noticed they do not ever come on this site to give any explanation to why they are so poor. I suggest customer s give this company a wide berth .

An update on this awful Had trouble getting through on both there contact numbers. The guy I spoke to checked it was in stock and said I will receive the items on the Thursday or Friday dependent on courier timing. So today on the Thursday I receive a message saying it was despatched late this afternoon. Will not use this company again as I expect honesty. An update on this awful company... my delivery was due today on the 12th at the latest. I have called 4 times today and promised it is due. The last call the guy told me that they would be 5.30 pm at the latest sitting here at 17.50 pm wasting the start of my weekend. Even worse, because of their incompetence I will have to do a 2 hour return journey Monday to buy the materials elsewhere as I need them for Monday. Avoid this company like the plague as their is much better out their, who do actually deliver on time.

I have dealt with this company for several years now, and do not understand these negative reviews. They have a good website, and their service has always been excellent. Quick delivery of entire orders and always exactly what I asked for. Good range and prices too, so what's not to like?

Hopeless Company - good prices but you will be lucky to get yours goods - you can wait weeks and they may turn up sometime - never answer their phone and always give you the brush off - best avoided

Tell lies and not very good at selling stuff. other plastics suppliers are available, use them.

Appalling company!! Totally unspecific on delivery times, nothing turns up for over a week, then random deliveries appear on random days and half of the order is still missing. Was advised I would receive a refund for missing items 6 weeks ago and STILL WAITING! Nobody answers the phone. Am now trying to obtain a refund via chargeback from the bank. AVOID AVOID AVOID

If I could leave 0 stars I would, this company is an absolute joke i waited 2 full weeks for my delivery, rang multiple time to find no one even answered the phone, when I did eventually get through to someone they were useless, AVOID at all costs.

Its a shame that I didn't read the reviews first before purchasing from this dreadful outfit. I've never written a bad review about any company as I'm a company owner myself and understand the damage a bad review can cause but these guys deserve it.

I have to be honest and say that Plastic express should be closed down as a business as they have no concept of what a business should be. My complaint echoes what has been written throughout the other reviews. Poor delivery times, incorrect order delivered and absolutely no point of contact by phone or email. What an absolute shower. I could write more about them but really, whats the point.

There's an option to check the box to let Plastics express know about your review, which I've checked but I don't believe they give a damn anyway.

I think I'll use my time writing to 'Rip off Britain' and others to see if I can't get them exposed on TV which will be more damaging to them I hope.

AVOID at all costs.

As others have said:
Do not believe the stock statuses on their website.
Do not expect delivery when promised.
Do not expect them to answer the phone.

DO expect rude and dismissive attitudes when you eventually get though.

A right nightmare to deal with. No one wants to answer the phone. And then when you do eventually get through and order it, by then you have given up the will to live. It takes days for it to arrive. They have no concept in the building trade that lies mean men standing waiting for materials. Should change their name to. Dont give a dam plastics.

I needed several standard items fairly quickly so ordered them on the 3rd of April reading their delivery terms -

"All goods are sent on overnight couriers (subject to service availability in your area) and therefore delivery should be the next working day after despatch. However, delivery may take up to three working days and is subject to stock availability"

Today 24th April they are supposed to be delivered - very disappointing.

I ordered some twinwall, £20 delivery charge, call the next day for a tracking number after seeing negative reviews - they eventually answer the phone - oh, "2-3 days for dispatch mate". Nowhere on the website does it say that, why would I wait a week for delivery. You'd have thought that with all the negativity and complaints they'd sort it out. Clearly not!

I placed my order on Wednesday morning and recieved my goods by Friday lunchtime, it doesn't get any better than that and the price was very good. I cant understand the negative reviews?

ordered drainage material Tuesday evening it was delivered Friday morning top quality at just over half the price I could have paid at the builders merchants. I will definitely use this company again.
