Pizza Pilgrims Catering Omdömen

Went with the family cannot fault it the pizza so Italian great atmosphere all washed down with a glass of red wine

Just had a takeaway pizza from the Cambridge Pizza Pilgrims (don't know if there are other branches throughout the UK) and dismayed to read the review from the man who said they didn't care about serving him a burnt pizza and were racist (no surprize really) - I have just had their margherita pizza and not impressed either. They are entitled and arrogant as most people in Cambridge. I could have bought chargrilled vegetable pizza from Tesco for £3, and it is miles better than the over-priced rubbish in there; and in future I will go to Tesco to get my pizza. The fast-food outlets and restaurants in Cambridge are RUBBISH, (like everything else in this town) except McDonalds, which, although some of the people who work in there are also rude, are better - at least you get what you pay for in McDonalds.

Brilliant Pizza in the Post kit, my brother loved it for his birthday :-) Customer service were super helpful as well, highly recommend.

Amazing concept and such great value!
Really enjoyed making the pizzas, ingredients were perfect, instructions were clear, and it was well presented! The pizzas tasted so good! :)

Great customer service and very quickly delt with a querie I had

The pizzas are great and very tasty!!! The cook Gaetano, the waiter Francesco and the rest of the staff in the Covent Garden restaurant are very nice and professional. We will definitely be back!

Best pizza in town plus the staff is friendly

I have now upped my review from a 1 star to a 4 star as Support emailed me back after I complained about one of the pucks of dough went bad which resulted in it not working while being cooked

They sent out a completely different kit for.. free! They even included 2 cocktails on the house
I don’t usually change my review from 1 star all the way to 4 stars although I cannot fault support and the replacement kit was lovely!!!
Thank you Pizza Pilgrims

Made to look easy. It isn't, tried twice and followed instructions but didn't work. Dough to sticky doesn't need well. Only buy if your willing to throw it all away because it hasn’t worked.

Pizza was terrible. My experience was horrible. I sat down and order 2 pizzas and a cocktail and asked for a table water. The guy walked with the water slammed on the table and looked at me as if I don't belong here. Maybe because I am Asian. I cut a small slize of pizza it was burned and non edible. Seems the management don't care so I didn't eat it and paid and walked away when the staff was happy to take the payment and don't even have the courtesy to ask why I haven't had the pizza. Maybe they are either racist or they don't care. If I could give no star at all, I would.

Yet again burnt and cold. How both are managed in the same pizza is beyond me. The burnt crust taste is throught out the pizza. Entirely done with this lot. Expensive and inedible.

The vegan the "Pizz'and love" was disgusting and "fried artichokes" extremely salty that I felt sick afterwards. Never again.

Heard a lot about that place from my flatemate, pizzas are amazing and the Nutella ring is a MUST! Empty your tummies and dine here. Staff is really nice, specially Amelia, friendly and chatty!

The pizzas were one of the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten. The staff was incredibly nice, especially Dylan and Marv :)
- the Austrians

I ate there about 6 weeks ago with a friend while on our way to a local museum. The staff were very friendly and the pizza and our cocktails were lovely. Will definitely eat there again.

Had a really negative experience. We’ve been meaning to go there as it’s a new restaurant. My daughter and I stood for far too long before a waitress eventually came to ask the person in front and then us. Until then no one acknowledged we were even there.

Upon being shown to a table, when we attempted to order, the waitress was argumentative insisting Parmesan is vegetarian. Nothing on the menu is marked as vegetarian, it’s either vegan or not. The waitress went to ask the chef and returned to say Parmesan was vegetarian. I showed her my online search which confirmed Parmesan is never vegetarian. The waitress did not seem sure and insisted that she did not want to argue or that “there’s no point arguing”. She attempted to say that there were vegan options but I specifically asked for Parmesan to be avoided. It seemed too much to ask. Attitude of staff was awful. Unwelcoming, inflexible and seemed to want me to believe that it was vegetarian. This concerned me as pesto is not necessarily vegetarian either so there would have been more issues as we would’ve had to ask for the vegan pesto. Attitude of staff appalling. We left at this point as no confidence in staff and disappointed with how we were treated.

I love their pizza and the prices are reasonable! The staff are always nice and friendly. Always, nice to come over.

I went there today with my friend, we ordered 2salsicce and friarielli pizza, it was delicious, we really love it, we were served by Giulia, she was very nice and helpful, definitely we will come back again

Pizza in the post was terrible. We tried gluten free and it was the worst gluten free product we have ever tried. I cannot believe the cost for such a low quality product.

So after my not very complementary review about the service, cleanliness and chef touching his mobile and with the same hand carrying on making pizzas!! Someone wrote back and asked for my email, which I responded to & haven't heard anything since! I am not sure if this is any better.

Got a pizza to collect, Leta was absolute gem and sorted me out. Needed to change the type of pizza I had and she made the whole experience easy. Definitely the best in that branch 10/10
