The instructors were so professional,understanding, informative and comprehensive in the instructions to be followed and how they could be implemented. Ken, Steve, Sam,Nick,Wynne ,Peter and Mark were 1st class. Thanks for their time most of all. From 6/1/25 - 3/6/25.

Went all the way from CBT to full license over 2 years.

Both the Crystal Palace and Sidcup were perfect for learning.

Did my CBT with these guys. The instructors are informative, friendly and most importantly supportive to new and inexperienced riders.

They have a small range of 125cc bikes and scooters available to ride (including the Honda MSX/Grom for the "vertically-challenged") and provide helmets, jackets, gloves and boots too if you don't bring your own. You have the option of riding one of their geared bikes if you are confident but if struggling then they will swap it out for a moped instead (for CBT).

My instructor that day was Sam, as a group of 6, but two of us had prior experience. Due to numbers and experience level, myself and another rider were then split from the others. After a short wait, we did a few practice drills then went out for a ride with another instructor, Wynne. This meant we got to skip the theory and highway code lessons and go straight into the fun part.

I started the day at 8am and got my certificate by 12pm. Weather was good too so finishing early was a nice touch.

There is also free on-site parking which is an added bonus. I would recommend them to anyone based in South London who is looking to do their CBT or additional courses.

Darren was great, he was very clear in his instructions and never lost patience even when he had to repeat himself.
After the session and successfully completing the CBT, Darren gave helpful advice regarding the options available for any of us interested to ride a bigger bike and get a full licence. Which I plan to follow up.

My whole experience with Phoenix was an absolute delight all due to Darren, he is the best instructor it can be and his teaching methods are perfect for a learner that wants to become a full license holder!
I cannot recommend him enough, thank you again Darren, thanks to the team at Phoenix as well for a stress free and pristine organisation, without you i’ll still be a pedestrian!

Last December I had to renew my CBT, and for the first time I chose Phoenix Motorcycle Training.

I was very pleased with the service provided, especially by Mark and P. Stevens (who seems to teach more in the old-fashioned way, a little more demanding (but nothing against it)).

Just passed my full A licence and couldn't be happier. I’m not usually someone who writes reviews, but I felt I had to give a shoutout to Ken and Sam. They were fantastic instructors—clear, patient, and genuinely committed to helping me succeed. Thanks to them, I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 on my first attempts. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their full bike licence.

Kaz and Marc were amazing! They have gone abone and beyond to explain the procedures and were really patient. They do make you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend using them.

Mark was a stellar instructor on my CBT course. Firm but fair. His instructions were clear to follow and certainly backed up by many years of experience. The road ride was great fun. Would highly recommend anyone looking to get their CBT to go through Phoenix
