Phoenix Motorcycle Training - Crystal Palace Omdömen 

Passed MOD 1 and MOD 2 first time with Phoenix (no prior road experience). I had excellent teachers at Crystal Palace and Sidcup locations who were patient and explained things really well which was important to me as a female rider who had a bad experience with another school. Booking sessions is also easy and the office is responsive.

When I went to Phoenix, Crystal Palace - and most importantly, when I met my wonderful instructor, Darren - I was very very fortunate. I had come from a different training school, where I had had a very different experience with my Mod 1. So negative, that when I arrived at Phoenix, I felt quite broken. I had no confidence at all, felt little hope in my capability to pass Mod 1 (and indeed, the full licence) and - though I was determined - I felt completely hopeless. Darren changed all that. He was patient, adaptable to what I needed and knew how best to build up my confidence and my skills and most of all, gave me the belief that yes, I could do this. He was without doubt, the best instructor I could ever have had. And I would not have got where I did, without him. No doubt about that. Darren is not only a superb instructor, he is also a teacher. And there is a big and significant difference with that. It’s been a bumpy ride, but finally, I got there and achieved Mod 1. And eventually Mod 2. I now have the full licence and my dream big bike. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind, that I would not have achieved any of this, without the teaching, guidance and patience of the wonderful Darren at Phoenix. An unbelievable instructor. I simply cannot thank him enough.

As a 60yr young returning to biking after 30 years the back to biking lesson was just what I needed, good sound no nonsense advise delivered in a down to earth manner by Darren. Would recommend to anyone returning to biking after a long time.

Great instructors - Worth the money

In 2023 I had a bad accident, with an SUV knocking me off my NC750 on my way to work. Life changing injuries, 4 months in hospital, 15 major surgeries - basically a long road to recovery... so for the 2nd anniversary of the accident, I booked a "back to biking" course with Phoenix.

I was a little anxious, very curious to see if I could still competently (and safely) ride.

Helen on the booking call was patient, helpful and understanding. Steve, my instructor for the day, was excellent from start and throughout. A real champion.

I am eternally grateful to the whole team, for helping me to rebuild my knocked confidence, whilst proving a point to myself that even with the injuries I have, the journey on 2 wheels isn't over.
If anything, this course, this company, have helped me to get back to one of my favourite things that I wasn't sure if I could ever do again. Yes, there was a bit of a hump in the road, a slight detour, however with the right help, I'm heading in the correct direction once more - feet up on the pegs, visor down.

Excellent people really good place to do training passed 1st time with every thing

I’m giving this 5 star review with a strong caveat. I finished my CBT today as a continuation. The first day I did it I was frustrated that we didn’t finish and I personally felt that I didn’t finish as others in my group were less proficient and therefore slowed things down. Had I been on my own I think I would have finished first time. However, the reason I’m giving a 5 star is due to the return experience being so good. The instructors said that I appeared to be of a good enough standard early on and fast tracked me very quickly. We had a brilliant day, bashed through all of the material very efficiently with no nonsense and my instructor Steve B (and Marc initially) was fantastic. I would definitely recommend these guys for doing a CBT. A credit to the company.

This is my second time that I have taken cbt with Phoenix Motorcycle Training. Always my experience is great with this guys. The instructor name Sam has great experience. They class room training and site training gives me great experience to understand Road driving. Thank you Sam.

I completed all parts of my motorbike licence training with the team at Crystal Palace and really enjoyed every minute. I have now passed the full big bike licence and could not be happier. The team set high standards in their training so you know that if you can meet their expectations, you will definitely pass the test. They communicate clearly and precisely. Special shout out to Marc (bad dad joke guy) who really helped me progress!

I had a little experience being a pillion but none actually riding a bike myself. I went straight in to a manual cbt and was warned I may find it difficult. I tried to persevere but found it difficult so switched to an automatic and passed. John was amazing throughout the whole process, warning me it may be difficult but still allowing and encouraging me to give it a go. He gave me options but didn’t pressure me into any direction. Gave a lot of super helpful information and individual feedback/advice delivered in a positive way, making it a relaxed comfortable experience. Highly recommended!
