It is a delight to deal with Philip Jones Timber. Prices are competitive, on the items I ordered. The quality is very good and the service second to none. Communications are good, deliveries prompt and the drivers are both very personable and extremely helpful. Brilliant experience both occasions.

Great service, had a small issue where I wasn’t happy with one of the pieces of wood, sent an email and I had a call within 2 minutes, couldn’t believe it. The wood was swapped the next day.

Dynamic Pricing in use!!
I've heard of "dynamic pricing" via ticketmaster etc but never heard of it used in timber yards, until now!! Was busy scanning many websites for many weeks looking for the cheapest way to deck my garden slab. Stumbled across a bargain buy, phoned the yard to see if I pay can I collect straight away as I was going on holiday. I was told that it would be fine so I paid for everything I needed and headed there. Halfway to the yard I had a phone call off them claiming to have put the wrong price down when they altered it that morning and wanting me to pay nearly double!! At this point the items were all paid for, contract entered into and I was on my way-as far as I'm aware that's the deal done. They don't charge me extra on the way out of Asda for items I've already paid for. Tried fobbing me off saying it was an error but that's not my fault, the goods were paid for in good faith. Lesson learnt, never again will I spend as much as a pound here. I bought all the decking and more elsewhere 😊
