The service is a scam
The service is a scam . Still waiting on the poster. No clarity on how this works. There is no way they have contacted 4000 of my neighbours as the claim. Very disappointing. They are just taking advantage of people at a vulnerable time.

We just wish you had reached out to us directly — we answer every single message and would’ve fixed any issue right away, especially with the poster! 💌 Sometimes emails land in spam or get missed, and this is probably what happened. But we’re always just one message away...
Also, just to clarify — we don’t contact thousands of neighbors directly (we’d never have access to people’s private info 🙈). What we do is run paid social media ads that reach thousands of people living in your area. That’s how we can create real visibility without violating anyone’s privacy.
We are not here to take advantage of anyone. We exist because we care about reuniting families with their furry loved ones.

Big scam!
Big scam!! I was directed to an address that doesn’t exist! So not only do I suffer from loss of pet but I am out $150.00. That claim money back after 24-48 hours is bull! They just send a pre typed answer wanting more money!! Don’t get ripped off like me. Then make it impossible for you to make a claim

Unfortunately, it seems you have been scammed by frauds impersonating our service.
I want to assure you that this is NOT how PetRadar operates, and the individuals you interacted with do NOT represent us.
Here are some key points to clarify:
Official Payments:
We only accept payments through secure and traceable methods, only on our official website: www.petradar.org. Also, payments are optional as we offer free resources for pet parents in need as well. Payments via Venmo, direct transfers, or similar unprotected methods are NOT associated with us.
Registration Process:
Lost pets can only be registered on our platform through our official website, never via Messenger or any other method. (I did not find your name in our database, so I think you never registered your pet on our platform).
Official Communication:
All communication is conducted through our verified email addresses ending in @petradar.org. Scammers using Gmail accounts, Messenger, or unverified emails are a clear red flag.
Our Services:
We offer FREE services as well as transparent paid options starting at $39 (not $150!!!!).
While we warn people about these scams via our website, we unfortunately cannot control interactions that occur on Messenger or other platforms.
This is an incredibly upsetting situation for both you and us as a company. We work hard to help pet parents and it’s devastating to see fraudsters exploit the trust of people.
We strongly encourage you to report this scam to your local authorities.

Accusing us of dishonesty undermines the dedicated work we do every day to assist pet parents in their time of need. Your ads were delivered in full, and as such, a refund was not possible...

Not what it seems.
Please be mindful of using this website if you are desperate to find your lost pet. I like many others thought their advert seemed like it was one answer to my prayers but there are so many gaping holes. The promise of reaching thousands of your neighbours through social media is very questionable. In the most recent update I was told over 8000 of my neighbours had seen the missing pet advert. On talking with my neighbours on a daily basis no one had seen any Facebook post, feeds, ads or the like. It’s also hard to believe this had reached so many when our entire suburb is around 5000 and the two km search radius I had selected would result in a much lower number. The best approach to finding your lost pet is talk to your neighbours to build up a story of your pets movements on the days before and on the day they went missing - do this as soon as you have concerns your pet has done so, use your community social media pages, search your local area thoroughly and alert your local vets and rescue centres. Don’t waste your money on this outfit with their fancy website and promises.

You sarcastically acknowledged the value of my responses, but I’ll take it as a compliment - after all, detailed explanations don’t write themselves, nor do they come from a manual as you suspected, or a team that lacks transparency or commitment.
I repeatedly explained that Meta provided an estimated audience size of 30,000 users in your chosen radius. It is mathematically impossible for 8,000 views to reach all 30,000 users. If the data provided by Meta is inaccurate, it does not mean we “hide behind it,” but rather, we rely on global advertisement titans to deliver geotargeted campaigns to the best of their ability...
Meta's platform delivered over 8,000 views within the radius you selected, verified and tracked—whether those individuals were in your direct circle is, unfortunately, beyond anyone’s control.
While we aren’t magicians, we did exactly what we promised and tried our absolute best to assist you during a stressful time. Your claims of dishonesty, however, are both unkind and unfounded.
That said, I genuinely value every piece of feedback, even when it’s harsh. Honest input helps us refine and improve the services we offer to pet parents in need, and for that, I thank you.
