Huge stock of amazing books, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff
We stumbled across the shop in Dover Street whilst visiting London for the day. My wife has an interest in children's book illustrators, so we went inside to investigate. Annabel made us very welcome, and brought out some beautiful books to look at from several of the illustrators we enquired about. She was also able to suggest some other illustrators my wife might like, based on the styles she is interested in.
Although we had not gone in intending to buy anything, my wife was very excited by one of the books she had not seen before, so after some deliberation I ordered it the next day, and it arrived two days later, nicely gift-wrapped and extremely well packaged. Very happy!
Excellent and friendly service throughout. The shop was a great find, and I'm sure will become part of our "regular" itinerary on future visits to London.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience. Prompt service and delivery. The book was beautifully wrapped and cared for and the information packet about the book, the publisher, the illustrator was very well put together so the person receiving the book had the right amount of context to understand the value of the gift. I think it’s wonderful that a place like Peter Harrington exists to keep and protect the beauty and history of the art of literature.

Excellent Service
I have bought several books from this company for my partner in the USA. They are extremely efficient and knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. The books arrive in the USA within a few days beautifully gift wrapped at request. Unfortunately it is rare these days to find such great customer service which makes them stand out even more. I would not consider buying from anyone else.
