Ordered a bouquet for $112.90 online

Ordered a bouquet for $112.90 online, entered address & it said they would deliver to that address on the date I selected.
They then contacted me the next day & said they couldn’t. I said I’d cancel the order as the date was important (anniversary of a death).
They then cancelled & say they are refunding me $97.90.
So the irony I’d they are CHARGING me $15 because they could not deliver!
They might be scammers, avoid them

DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered and payed for flowers to be delivered in the morning to my daughter’s workplace as a surprise on her birthday.

Were they delivered to her workplace? NO
Was it a surprise? NO
Were the flowers delivered in the morning as requested? NO
Did the flowers eventually delivered to another address that night resemble the ones I had chosen on their website? NO

How hard can it be??? Soo disappointed

I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine's day 1 week before the day. At 1230pm on the day I received an automated sms from Petals Network saying my delivery would not be fulfilled as all florists in my area had shut. Wow.

Terrible bouquet nothing like website listing

From Los Angeles I Ordered 1/2 dz red roses with lush greenery for valentine’s day for my daughter studying at Bond uni. The red roses were quite pretty but the bouquet only had 2 small pieces of eucalyptus greenery.. It was a very lazy can’t be bothered we don’t care about our customers, chucked together bouquet, looks nothing like their website listing. It’s embarrassing to think an Australian company in 2025 can’t even deliver a beautiful bouquet that’s the same as it’s website listing….$118 bucks totally not worth it!!

The flowers were alright but paid $30…

The flowers were alright but paid $30 for a box of favourites... and it was delivered by Uber late... wouldn't recommend even if it were last minute, you're better off going without because the price ain't worth it, would've gone with a different company if they all weren't sold out but now I understand why this company still had stock

Birthday flowers …

I specifically requested delivery of birthday flowers before 10am as the family were going out for brunch. I ordered the flowers weeks in advance paid over 100 NZ dollars and they failed to arrive. I am devasted. This was a gift from the overseas family members. How I wished I had checked the reviews first and organised from a local florist I am so upset and would not recommend this organisation. I emailed them just after 10am NZ time and have had no response .

Go direct to the florist

Failed to delivery on time. Its only after I purchased the flowers that it advises deliver can occur anytime between 9 and 7pm. Could not provide any details on the actual delivery when I called. Customer help person hung up on me. The flowers were routed to a florist that is 40mins away from where they were to be delivered to despite there being 3 - 4 florists in the town I wanted them delivered in. Useless Useless Uselss

Poor quality, didn’t meet their own timeframes and poor response

I ordered bereavement flowers for a friend and her family through petals network. I ordered ‘same day delivery’ off the website, and met the requirements outlined including location, timeframe etc. I ordered an expensive bunch ($150) given the situation. The next day I reached out to my friend and she had not received any flowers. I contacted the company and they returned my email the following day, and advised they were waiting on certain flowers (white roses) to complete the order and it was be delivered that day. I was not contacted regarding the two day wait on a same day delivery order, and when the flowers arrived they were average quality and a small bunch considering the cost. I wouldn’t care, but this was a special moment and i certainly won’t rely on this service for again. Customer service did not answer my question regarding why I was not contacted to be advised of the delay on same day delivery despite me posing this question multiple times, and only answered other parts of my email. Nor did they offer any condolences or compensation. This isn’t a reliable business and they don’t deliver quality.

Extremely Disappointed

My mum ordered the Christmas bouquet to her sister in Perth, and it was awful. The bouquet looked like supermarket quality and did not look worth over $100 which is what was spent. It was meant to be festive but it was not at all. Extremely disappointed and the customer service people while nice, they were not helpful and would not negotiate with us to fix the issue. We won’t be using them again

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Absolute disgrace. I ordered flowers for my sister in New Zealand and what she received was not what I had chosen. Bouquet was definitely not a premium bouquet and was ugly and sparce and a third of the size it should have been. Looked like it was rushed and all in all an ugly bouquet. Waiting to see if my email complaint it actually read and replied too. Wish I had seen all the reviews before paying 142 NZD for the bouquet. Would rate it a zero out of 5 but that's not an option.

Flowers are tired and near end of life

Received Christmas flowers and gifts from Mum today. Depressing flowers, looked weeks old when they arrived. The tiniest, dead roses with some carnations. Took photos to send to them directly as it’s laughable. Suggesting mum ask to return for refund.

Don't recommend this company at all.

I had ordered flowers to be sent to my friend in Whangarei.No idea if it go sent or not.Emailed to check but no response.I hadn't read reviews before otherwise wouldn't have ordered from here.Do not recommend anyone to order from you.They just take your money and then that's it.No photos of bouquets, no tracking numbers and no response.

Flowers delivered too early and damaged, but got a refund

I ordered some flowers for a special occasion to surprise a loved one.

The flowers were delivered too early before 8am, when the website clearly states deliveries would occur between 9am and 5pm for business addresses.

Because they were delivered so early, the recipient was not yet at the address, and so couldn't be surprised. The flowers were provided to reception, who then gave them to the recipient later in the day.

Additionally, the flowers were not fresh, with brown edges and dried out petals.

I sent an email to their customer service team to raise the complaints about the timing of the delivery and the quality of the flowers. I also sent photos of the flowers that were received, clearly showing the damage.

Fortunately, the customer service team agreed that this service did not meet their standards, and they quickly arranged a full refund.

So while I was not happy that my loved one did not receive good flowers from me for this very special occasion, I am happy that Petals quickly responded to my complaint and processed that full refund.

If Petals arranged anything less than a full refund when I raised the complaint, then I would have provided a 1 star review.

If the flowers arrived on-time and not damaged, I would have provided 5 stars.

Therefore, I decided to provide a 3 star review.

Be aware of this company not good at all
We were embarrassed and disgusted with the flowers I ordered from petals.at a cost of $120 plus for a wedding anniversary
The flowers arrangement was sparse,few roses and greenery and had the stalks of the flowers cut so short they looked ridiculous. Supermarket flowers for $45 looked 100 times better. Never again would I use this company

Do NOT use this florist. I ordered flowers for a family member at Christchurch Hospital and Petals accepted my money than later informed me that the hospital does not take flowers so the flowers coudl not be delivered. When challenged they stated they could not be expected to know which hospital wards accepted flowers - really ? I'm a Nurse - it doesn't change.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM - 0 rating.
They email /call adding on additional costs after you've already paid for your order online: they called a few days after we had already paid/ordered online saying we had to pay more or they'd refund our order, we were stuck so just paid the extra $. Unreasonable customer service when I questioned why.
They also delivered on wrong day, two days earlier than we had asked.
The flowers were also very different to what we ordered and some were already brown, clearly not fresh new flowers.
Absolute rip off: in the end, we had paid $220.00 for a tiny bouquet, a balloon and tiny box of chocolates. Whole thing is a scam. And not worth your money!

Absolutely worst flowers I have ever…

Absolutely worst flowers I have ever ordered.
2 different bouquets were ordered both significantly smaller than advertised and super average.
Emailed to complain and got some shoddy reply.
Never use them again have since contacted commerce commission for false advertising and am awaiting petals reply for a refund due to misleading/false website listing
