The price matched the image but what was delivered was woeful.
Picture had approximately 40 flowers and 6 colours. What was delivered was 23 flowers and 4 colours.
Placed online order for family member returning home from hospital after surgery. Required delivery on a specific date. Received order receipt with confirmation of delivery date. No delivery!
Called Petals customer service the next morning. They told me they wouldn’t be able to deliver for two more days. I said that was unacceptable. They offered to issue a refund which I accepted. I placed an order with another vendor which was delivered same day.
Update: The original Petals order was delivered this evening. It’s nice that my family member received two flower deliveries even if a day late. Refund received a few days later.
The worst florist network i have had the misfortune of using. Please do not waste your money and use a company that uses fresh flowers instead of flowers that don't last more than 5 days.
The worst service I have ever had with Flowers. I ordered early with a guaranteed delivery of next day! Response was the florist didn’t come back saying there were any issues. Customer service said we can guarantee delivery tomorrow despite being a day late. There should be a refund and a blo*dy delivery as well! There is no note saying attempted delivery nor any follow up in regards to delivery.
If I could do a zero star review I would - absolutely ridiculous!
Ordered flowers well in advance for mum’s birthday. Not delivered. Had to chase multiple times and told they had been delivered and needed to check property. Then get an email to say ‘sorry courier didn’t deliver please accept our apologies’. Not really much good when they don’t arrive on the date required. Wouldn’t use again.
I received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers today and it arrived in the most stunning box.. Definitely kept the flowers like new. Absolutely stunning flowers. Many many thanks Would have loved to have submitted some photos...
Awful. I spent 150 NZD for my parents 60th anniversary and selected premium. The flowers look nothing like the picture and look like a 10 NZD bunch of flowers from a super market. So disappointed. I will never use Petal again!
Twice we have used Petals. The first time they cancelled our Valentines delivery, which was booked several days before at 4pm on valentines day. We got a refund, so we gave them a second chance. Order Tuesday before Mothers day, To be delivered on Morhers day. But no flowers were delivered. We made contact on monday, they said they will deliver them Wednesday. No flowers on Wednesday. Rang them on Thursday morning, they tried to blame the courier!
Late today (thursday) they tried to deliver a very wilted, almost dead bunch of flowers. We have got our money back after a lot of phone calls and excuses, but would rather my mother in law got the beautiful flowers we ordered.
I’d give a zero but no option , spent money for my daughter to cheer her up after receiving very bad news of a death of her friend .. the delivery did not take place

I now have to reorder with a florist that will actually communicate and deliver the flowers. Money wasted $90 . Plus a new order will set me back another amount a/nd as I was planning to send more flowers for birthday.u lost my business. Do not use this service. I have followed up its 9 pm and no delivery has been made. So much for same day delivery it won’t arrive be warned .
I have changed my review to a 3 stars as i received an email 04/04/25 they couldn’t find address however a delivery was made and the photos are stunning so thank you recommending this place
I purchased a "beautiful love" "lavish gift set includes a gorgeous vase arrangement of twelve long stem red roses, accented with greenery, plus chocolates and a delightful bear" for a valentines day gift for my young daughter.
Yes, the flowers and all items were delivered on time, but the items delivered certainly were not what was described above; could in no way be desbribed as a "lavish gift set" and were not worth at all the $207 paid.
The 12 roses were not long stem in a luxurious vase, they were just 12 medium stem roses shoved into a bunch of hydrangeas, instead of a luxurious box of what in the picture looked like a beautiful red striped
box of hand crafted chocolates with a ribbon tied around was a $15.99 T16 box of Ferrero Rocher Chocolates straight from the nearest warehouse, instead of a luxurious small brown fluffy looking teddy bear with a red ribbon on it was a small white teddy bear that looked like it came as part of a promotional give away. Certainly not a lavish gift set - just 3 items that met the bare minimum definition of red roses, chocolates and a teddy bear. I certainly will use a locally owned florist for my next online flower order where the owners are more directly connected to the quality, care and craftsmanship of what they advertise, charge for, and deliver.
I ordered a bigger size but it looked like a regular... It wasn't striking like the picture... They didn't deliver until late afternoon. The card was a small card not a full birthday card. Not $140 worth by any means!
I won't be ordering from this florist again.
What I've ordered according to the photo on the website and even went for the deluxe option to give that bit of an extra but what we received look like it was put together by an amateur. I have added a card to the flowers and even that was mucked up. You expect if they ask for something to be added to a card that they will add what you've asked not for what they think needs to be on there
Great service, easy to deal with on the phone, quick to sort out order and delivered what they said they would in the time required. Will use again. Saved the day thank you, when Bloomex failed to deliver.
This is not a florist but a booking business. They do not answer their phone or return emails and there is no assistance via the chat bot either. This special day with a new born baby being celebrated has become a major frustration. I will never buy flowers ion line again and only ring a shop and talk to a real person.
I ordered flowers to be delivered in NZ. The recipient was not at home and the flowers were left at their place. They looked nice although they did not look as fresh as expected.
I purchased Christmas flowers and chocolates to be delivered to an address in New Zealand through the Australian Petals network. They offer 3 options for the flowers, i.e. Classic, Deluxe and Premium, and 2 options for the chocolates, i.e. 220g and Premium (no weight).
The flowers were delivered the next working day, but no chocolates. I asked my friend to send a photo of the flowers and delivery card. There was no card or anything to identify which local shop had delivered them. Although the flowers and vase were consistent with those in the website image, the presentation was very poor and clearly not of a professional quality. My friend couldn't get through to the NZ branch and had to contact the network's Australian contact number. I got a refund for the undelivered chocolates but that was the only recompense.
On returning to the website I noticed that the images (flowers & chocolates) that were used were exactly the same for each price option. I could not find any visual or written clarification about what extra value you would get for the additional charges for Deluxe/Premium flowers and Premium chocolates. I didn't pick up on this when I made the purchase
Their Quality Assurance statement indicates that a Photo of the flowers would help with their refund decision making process, however there is not an option provided to do this on the website and emails are 'Do not reply' and do not have a customer services email. The only way to contact them is by telephone.
