Hike the Inca Trail with Peru Treks is an extraordinary experience. From the moment we booked, the Peru Treks Team coordinator, Darwin demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, and extreme attention to detail that set the tone for the entire trip.
Our guide, Juan, was not only knowledgeable and passionate about Inca history and culture, but also very patient and encouraging. He brought each archaeological site to life with stories and context, helping us appreciate every step of the sacred path to Machu Picchu.
The porters were heroes - efficient, friendly, and inspiring. They carried our gear with amazing strength, always had camp set up before we arrived, and their warm smiles and welcoming reception were the icing on the cake. The chef prepared fresh and nutritious meals that were even more delicious than we could have imagined. From the quinoa soup to the hearty rice and meat entrees, every dish was delicious and satisfying. On the third night, our wonderful chef surprised us by baking a cake using only a rice cooker to celebrate our unforgettable Inca Trail adventure.

Our experience with PeruTreks went very smoothly. Darwin and our guide Herbert were very punctual and knowledgeable. All the right tickets were bought and Herbert's advices to start early was a wise one to avoid long queues later on. Our lunch package was abundant and very tasty too. The hotel chosen convenient as close to the train station. Very recomendable.

This is my second time using PeruTreks and I would use them again! Our experience with Raoul was incredible and we were treated with the upmost care and concern during our trek! He was extremely knowledgable about local history and answered all my questions about plants and wildlife. We were well fed and slept like babies!

Can't wait to come back to Peru!

The reservation contact is very friendly and professional. He explained everything to us. He also drove us from and back to the hotel in time.

The tour guide has 19 years experience and very knowledge. he also helped my daughter to the summit when she had high elevation reactions.

The chef is wonderful. he made very good meals everyday at scheduled time.

The porters worked really hard and always ahead us to set up tent and everything.

We had a great experience for two main reasons. First: the experience of hiking through the Andes Mountains and experiencing its mesmerizing nature and the walking through Incan structures will be something that will be forever etched in my mind. Second: the Peru Wild Treks staff made the experience possible and attainable. I cannot imagine this experience without the provisions extended to us by the Peru Wild Treks staff. We were extremely well taken care of by the whole staff. Our camp was always completely setup prior to our arrival after a long days hike. We were even greeted with cheers from the staff when we arrived at camp. Our cook, Humberto, was truly fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal times. Humberto was a very enjoyable person to be around, as well. Lastly, our guide, Raul, was unbelievable! His vast knowledge of everything we saw along the trail was overwhelming and he did such a great job of taking time to explain everything. He also did a perfect job of encouraging us onward, but at the same time being patient as we acclimated to the altitude. Everyone in the group completely appreciated him.

This was a very special experience with my father and brother, my father has wanted to see Manchu Picchu since he read about it in a textbook in grade school. This experience was made possible by our guide Raul. He was a consummate professional, keeping us safe and having patience as we needed extra time with the altitude. He also was able to explain many details about Incan history and culture as well as the flora and fauna we encountered. He did his job phenomenally well. I also enjoyed our fun conversations around meal times. Our cook Humberto was also incredible, what he was able to achieve with only the resources we took with us was amazing and delicious. The food was prepared safely too, no one in our group was ill.
I would highly recommend this company to someone who wants to experience the Incan trail with a great team and make lifelong memories along the way.

Peru Treks has been a greet experience from beginning to end. We completed the four days and three nights tour of the Inca Trail. Communication started months prior, with full attention to any concerns or questions, and the team accompanying us was nothing short of amazing. The porters do an incredibly difficult job with an incredibly joyful spirit. The cook kept us well fed with delicious meals every day and our guide Raúl was fun, kind, and informative. Highly recommend the experience!

Guide and porters were great. Food was fantastic. They created amazing vegetarian meals on the trail (more than we could eat!). Juan Carlos was very encouraging and helped me get through day 2, which was challenging.

It all ran so smoothly. The porters were so helpful and the cook managed to produce amazing amounts of food - I really liked the Andean recipes. The guide was very information and helped us understand the ruins we were exploring. Thank you to the team

Darwin, Juan Carlos and the whole Perutreks team provided an unbelievable experience when climbing the inca trail to Machu Picchu. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery, which wouldn't have been possible with the logistics support from Perutreks. Juan Carlos was an informative tour guide who gave a lot of context for the ruins which added to our understanding of the historical significance. Perutreks cooked delicious 4 course meals and set up our accommodations in a fashion that really made the trip comfortable and enjoyable.
