I am disabled and booked this service because there are certain household tasks I cannot do due to mobility limitations. I was very clear about what I needed: taking the rubbish out, hoovering, and mopping the floor. I repeated this multiple times. At no point did they ask how much rubbish there was or request photos of my home, and they never mentioned any limits such as only accepting one bin bag.
I booked them twice and had problems both times.
The first visit was booked for three and a half hours. Basic tasks were not completed — surfaces such as the top of the fridge and a dusty table were left untouched. The cleaner did not use the brand-new mop I provided and said it did not work, despite not knowing how to assemble it.
For the second visit, I again confirmed multiple times that rubbish removal, hoovering, and mopping were the main tasks. As soon as the cleaner arrived, she said the job was a deep clean. I explained I had booked a standard three-hour clean and showed her the messages where the company agreed to my request. I contacted the company stating that if additional charges applied, I preferred to cancel and receive a refund, as a deep clean was not what we agreed.
The cleaner then phoned someone and described my home as “miséria” while shouting over the phone. Without my consent, she began taking photos of my house and areas I had not asked to be cleaned. Shortly after, I received a call from a representative who was extremely unprofessional and seemed emotionally unstable, screaming at me saying this company was “not for me” because it was the second time I had “caused trouble.” She insisted the rubbish was excessive and that I should have known, despite the company previously confirming it was acceptable. How am I supposed to know, with a crystal ball????The call continued in that manner until she eventually agreed to issue a refund.
This experience felt dismissive, poorly communicated, and disrespectful. Clear expectations were agreed in advance but not honoured.

Following your first booking in January, you raised concerns about certain tasks not being completed. Although the agreed scope of works had been fulfilled and you had confirmed satisfaction on the day, we took your feedback on board and issued a partial refund — because our priority is always that our clients feel valued and looked after.
We were delighted when you returned to us for a second booking. Unfortunately, on arrival, our cleaner found that the job primarily involved removing a large volume of accumulated household waste rather than the cleaning tasks we had discussed and confirmed. As waste was beyond normal domestic disposal is not included within standard cleaning services, we immediately contacted you to clarify expectations before proceeding further.
The photo taken was of the waste itself, so we could assess the situation and work out the best way forward for you. I called you personally to talk through your options: we offered to continue the clean, to stop and arrange a full refund, or to find another solution that worked for you. We processed your refund straight away.
We always go the extra mile for our clients, and we especially wanted to provide reliable support given your circumstances. Throughout both bookings, we offered flexibility, open communication, and ensured you were never charged for a service you were unhappy with.
We are sorry we could not meet your expectations, and we take the lessons from this experience seriously. We wish you the very best.

The best "Spring Clean" for all seasons
