Received confirmation from TMS that they’d been successful in a claim against Aqua and that the lender will refund me directly. They also advised that their fee would be 45%. (Fee structure on website states 36%) I haven’t received the refund as yet but have been hounded by TMS for their fee. Called and spoke to a lady who advised that my file notes were confusing and put me on hold to speak to a manager. Came back to me a while later and said they weren’t able to understand what was happening from the notes and would call me back. No call back and today I receive an email threatening additional admin fees if not paid within 5 days. Line is constantly engaged so I’m not able to speak with anyone!

would not recommend TMS Legal. They charge a success fee even if you don’t receive any funds, as long as they secure a balance reduction — which feels unfair when you’re already struggling with debt. I’d suggest looking at other companies like Redbridge Finance instead, as their approach is more reasonable and transparent.

Crap. They only give you a fraction. Not worth it.they don't tell you what you can expect in compensation, just we,ll see when we get the offer from the lender. I wouldn't have gone through with it otherwise.

Received a letter demanding payment of over £300 even though it had already been settled over 13 months previously. Replied by email, phoned them and they still did not acknowledge payment receipt, even though I had sent them a copy of my bank statement showing the transaction leaving my account. Then I got a letter through the post demanding payment again, and threatening adding a further £50 admin fee if not paid. Why did they decide to contact me over a year after the account was settled, what triggered this, are they really so incompetent. I found the emails and letter follow up like harassment, why should I have to prove I have paid when I know I have. Utterly disgusting way to treat former customers. Quick to jump and pounce when they think they may be out of pocket and put the pressure on for payment. I emailed the bank statement yet again. Then I got a we 'confirm' your payment email, utterly ridiculous. The account was already closed 13 months ago and paid then, not now. Then they have the nerve to ask me to refer them to my friends and give them a review. Utter cheek if you ask me. This company are happy to harass customers if they are chasing money and do not even check if their information is actually correct. They try their arm. Unfortunately the constant demands for payment and harassment could cause some vulnerable people a great deal of stress, it is utterly disgusting behaviour and practice from a so called professional law firm I received no apology whatsoever from them when I proved I had already paid. My advice is to stay well clear of TMS Legal, unscrupulous, and disgusting attitude towards clients .

TMS Legal had dealt with my claim so quickly and had kept me informed throughout the claim application to depositing the amount awarded.

Very professiona, kept in touch with at every stage of the process, and was so happy with what they achieved.

TMS dealt with my claim against an old credit card provider. They were communicative, professional and helpful throughout. Although the claim wasn’t worth a significant deal of money, TMS still put their time & effort into pursuing.
