Credit card machine would not take our credit cards. We tried 3 different.

Both of my credit cards were refused and I was stuck on the roof for 20 minutes until the help line opened the gate and billed me by email. Then I was overcharged by one hour, plus the service fee.
Extra charges when their gate malfuntions
Their gate malfunctioned and would not take credit cards. I used the call button and was sent a link to pay via text message. It took such a long time (20 minutes) that I ended up having to pay for an extra hour, AND there is an additional "convenience fee" attached. Utterly ridiculous.
The exit reader would not read CCs…
The exit reader would not read any of my credit cards. They sent an IOU text. I jad to use one of the rejected cards to pay the $4:00 charge with a service charge that increased the full charge to $5.99.
Not a killer charge but very inconveniences for a 2 hr parking spot.

Should have people man the gates.

Saw people on others floors having trouble getting out also. this is what happens when you don't have people maning the gates.
Do not park at this garage due to no staff on site, malfunctioning machines resulting to overcharging customers
I would not recommend parking at this South Core Parking Garage due to the below issues. I visited St. Pete on Tuesday, Oct 22nd at approx 1:38pm. When attempting to depart the parking garage from Level 4 @ approx 4:30pm, the ticket machine at gate proceeded to ask for my ticket. I inserted it, stated I owed $2. When I proceeded to insert my credit card, said it was not valid. I tried 2-3 other credit cards. Machine did not accept any of them. I pushed the button for Assistance. Assistant stated to try cards again. No success. Assistance stated to pay with cash on Level 1 kiosk in lobby. I re-parked, proceeded to Level 1 kiosk in lobby. I realized the ticket machine on Level 4 had kept my ticket. Now I had no ticket. Assistance told me to proceed to gate once again and to press button for Assistance. I did that once again. Assistance stated since I didn't have my ticket, I would be charged the "no ticket" $20 fee.
Assistance asked for my license plate number and cell phone so they would send me a link to my phone so I may submit payment. After receiving the link to my phone, the gate raised and I proceeded to finally leave the parking garage after a 20-minute delay due to their malfunctioning ticket machine kiosks. I paid the garage fee at 5:52 pm, an hour after leaving the parking garage. On Thursday, 10/24/24, I contacted the parking garage and asked to speak to the person in charge. The lady on telephone directed me to email Brian Silva, who is in charge, which I did. In the email I included the incident details above and requested for a refund minus the $2 that I did owe. As of today's date, 10/25/24, I am awaiting for Brian Silva's response to my refund request. I do not plan to utilize this parking garage since it is poorly managed, no attendant on site to assist, and contains machines that do not work properly and overcharge the customers.

Bad customer service, Not clear communication
I asked an employee before parking how did everything work since it was my first time. She refused to help and said just to push the button and get my ticket. I assumed that it was free since I didn’t get my answers and I didn’t see any board with the prices. When I’m heading out I get stuck because is present card only (something like that) and I only had Apple Pay. So I had to wait a while and talk to someone who just sent me a link to pay without caring about the miss information. Terrible customer service, just be kind not everyone is from town and I explained that to both of them and they didn’t help. Inside the garage I just parked I’m not even sure if there was some areas I could or couldn’t park cus signs were confusing. Someone later asked level 4? How did you get to park there? And I was so confused.

Parking was convenient to the St Pete Sailing center. The pay system is easy if you have a credit card.
I lost my credit card, and navigating how to pay to get out of the I ave South parking garage was difficult.
I called the help number on the sandwich board next to the pay machine. they told me I had to call the help button on the pay machine. it took at least 3 minutes to have someone help, at which time several people were behind me and not happy. Some turned around and presumably went to another exit. When the attendent came on she did open the gate and tell me how to pay on line.
Paying on line after i got out was easy.

No support for light motorcycles
The sensor at the Gateway parking garage failed to recognize my motorcycle. The process of getting access, getting out, and paying for parking was extremely awkward and slow. I had to hit the call button each time, didn't get an entry ticket, and had to pay later on my phone with an extra service charge.
