Parked in Park Gate shopping centre, Hants. Stayed for no more than 20 minutes but returned over 5 hours later.
Received a fine notice for overstaying. Their camera had failed to detect my first exit. Luckily, I had a wealth of evidence to prove their incompetence, including my neighbours CCTV of my car's movements during the day. Complete waste of my time and cost me a bottle of whisky for my neighbour's time.
Rather than a clear and honest apology, the letter accepting their blame states that my appeal had been upheld. Appeal? I didn't appeal.
It appears complaints about this named company appear on Trustpilot under park and control, Germany.

Absolute cowboys! If you see a car park managed by these people, drive away!! I parked in one of their car parks twice and paid the correct fee - I have the receipts to prove it!! However, an error in the app meant that my car reg was not reported to properly (the reg is in the app correctly, it was handled incorrectly and not reported to the parking company). I received a charge notice which I appealed and provided the receipts. ONE of them was rejected and on researching my options found that taking things further never seems to work. So I paid the £20 'reduced' penalty I was offered. The second charge was appealed and I expected the same result. But I've heard nothing at all until I received a debt recover notice today for £170!! No ability to appeal, no option to seek a review. This is totally disgusting and these people are not interested in fairness. I have now paid an additional £190 (WTF!!) for two parking sessions because these people will not listen and have terrible communication skills. I bet they don't respond to this review either.

I go a parkandcontrl car park for several years, every Saturday morning, take kids there for lessons, max 2 hours normally, almost every time, the payment machine can not let me pay successfully in one go, must try several times on different machines, sometimes no machine work, and you can't pay, they will send you PCN for you not paying, and you must have evidence that is their machines problem and to appeal the PCN, sometimes they cancel the PCN, sometimes they not, and they only accept further appeal at they specified appeal service, and normally you fail, and you must pay more. Also sometimes I use coins to pay, but they never return changes. This is a extremely rogue company, try to avoid their parks if you can.

Paying machines did not work when we arrived. They say you can pay by app. As i can see this is a lie as downloading the app in less than 10 mn is impossible. Finally got a ticket that I have paid because I have no time to argue. However pretending you should pay because there is an app that allows to do it is a con and a more than weak excuse for machines that don't work. Despicable, horrible organisation

Confusing signage and parking bays that were an " overspill" for an Art Gallery which you would think was excempt from any parking regulations . I wont be paying so see u in court. Yet another example of rip off F up Britain

Avoid this car park at all costs ⚠️

This place feels deliberately deceptive. The signage is unclear and confusing, making it easy for drivers to make mistakes. Charges and terms are not displayed clearly, and it seems designed to catch people out rather than provide a fair parking service.

It feels more like a money trap than a genuine car park. I would strongly advise others to avoid parking here, as the lack of transparency creates unnecessary stress and the risk of unfair fines.

I entered the car park (East Heath Rd Car Park, Hampstead). I expected to be able to pay by phone but transpired i had to use an app. I uploaded it and paid. Because the signal not great this took me 10 mins. I had purchased 2 hours of parking time. They sent me a £100 fine presumably because it took 10 mins to pay. Total ****s. I'm appealing.

Made an 'honest mistake"; and they could have waived off the penalty as they could have see that I did make the payment. However, I guess, penalty is a way of making money in all possible scenarios. Funnily enough, their email id (when they they send the PCN over email) shows it as "wecare@.." :-).

I parked and paid and have a vat receipt to prove it. I received a fine saying I had not paid, so naturally I appealed it. After 28 days I have still heard nothing.
The customer service line only allows “pay fine” or “appeal”.
Anyone else had problems with this service?

Stayed at hotel in Layerthorpe in York, what a complete nightmare I was charged over a hundred pounds by this company park and control even though I gave my details at the hotel and was told it was free to park because I was a customer no they still robbed me of £100 got a fine 15 days later unbelievable can not believe travel lodge do this to there customers absolute shambles. My company will never stay at this hotel again.

Please, with all the proof, read my story below to witness, about how parkandcontrol behaved brutally against me and fined me, arbitrarily.

I went Chiswick Medical Centre for an appointment on 21st of October, and parked my car to their parking area. Unfortunately after parking there I received a fine from parkandcontrol. They told me that I had to inform reception about parking. I mentioned them that I was stressed and had a very important appointment that is why I was in a hurry.

I informed Chiswick Medical Centre about that. Parkandcontrol asked me for proof of my appointment. I sent them my medical report of that day because I didn't have any other proof. (Normally they should not ask about that and ask the hospital about my appointment. Because medical reports are personal and should be confidential.)

As a result my appeal to parkandcontrol was not accepted and paid £60 extra. But parking was free for patients. They completely fined me arbitrarily.
